So I went to this place last year and fell in love with it. All of the food I ordered was amazing and I only ordered vegan other than the mango lassi. I love that they stay open way late and my hotel was right around the corner so I just walked. The menu is the most insane one I've ever seen with so much stuff it made my head spin. I came back later in the week and went in to pick up an order with my manager late night. The owner saw that my boss was interested in the amazing alcohol selection, which is apparently half of their other location, and she poured us both a sample. It was by far the most expensive whiskey I've ever tried and it was great! It's been a year and this week I ended up trying the lamb dish with veggies, the Bhartha, and a mango lassi. My only complaint is that the lassi was thinner than I remember it but the food was still amazing. I had it for 3 meals and didn't get sick of it at all. read more

I was in the area for work for the week and visited here Monday night because this was only one of the few places open when I arrived in town, and I am so glad I did! With the inviting atmosphere and fantastic food I ended up eating here every night I was in town. Monday I had the Ginger chicken, it was absolutely incredible! Tuesday night I went vegetarian and had the Saag Mushroom, again out of the park deliciousness. Wednesday I order the Shrimp Biryani, and was very pleased with the selection. Thursday I had the Lamb Rogan Josh and again it was fabulous. Each night I also enjoyed either veggie pakoras or chicken pakoras as well as garlic naan. Every dish was full of flavor and the serving size was way more than enough for two people with medium appetites. I never could finish the entree or the naan. It was way more then the typical serving size I've had from most Indian restaurants. The people who work here are absolutely amazing. They are very friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. I can't wait until me travels bring me back to the area in a couple months so that I can introduce my wife to these amazing people and their delicious food! read more

Really kind staff. Though, I think a little understaffed. Mom n pop kind of place. Vibes are eclectic with sports quotes on the wall and your choice of sports, cat videos, or dance theater to watch on the tvs. Something for everyone! They let us hang out for a while and were happy to provide to go boxes. I got a 1 spice bc I didn't know if it was on an Indian scale or an American scale, definitely American so I could have done a 2 or maybe a 3. The service and food were excellent! Went with a friend and ordered a couple new dishes. The Indian beers were fun to try. The Tawa Tikki appetizer (potatoes) really surprised us, they were so tasty! Main dishes, a paneer and biriyani were outstanding! The chicken and cheese stuffed naan was fun to try, there were a variety of naans on the menu that I'm looking forward to trying soon. We ate dinner last night at Wok India. We had been eating lunch here on a regular basis earlier in the year, but have not been to WOK INDIA in the last few months. The food and service is still excellent. We shared an order of Lamb Korma and an order of Cheese and Garlic Nan. There was more than enough food and it tasted wonderful (as always). We ordered 2 ( on a scale of 1-6 in how spicy you like your food) and it was perfect. Suchi was an excellent waitress. The service here has always been terrific. With drinks (Diet Coke) and 20% tip the total bill came to $39.04, which is quite reasonable for dinner, especially when you are on a fixed income. Years ago we each would have had our own entree and probably a glass of wine, but being well into our 70's our appetites are not as large anymore, One of the comments I would like to make is this establishment is very clean and is quite pleasant inside. It is located in a remote strip shopping center in Mason, but is not difficult to find if you use the instructions on your cell phone. GREAT FOOD!!!! read more

I did not know what to expect from the outside - where on the scale from fast food to elegant dining this restaurant would fall. Once inside, I was still a bit confused - it had a walk up counter for take out and ordering but also a very nice dining area and a well stocked bar. I opted for dine in. I ordered a Moscow mule (very well made and presented). Staff was helpful and answered all my questions. Since this was Northern Indian food, I decided on the Tandoori over the Biryani and a side of the garlic Naan. The food was absolutely delicious! Very authentic flavoring, cooked to perfection. Let me first say this place was amazing! My Mom took me here on a random get-together as we both love Indian. Neither of us had ever been here and it was fairly new and let me just say we both left very impressed. She ended up getting the chicken Tikka saag which she has never had (she usually just gets the chicken saag) and she absolutely loved it. No leftovers at all. I ended up getting the chicken korma... it was amazing although I'm not sure it was chicken korma as it tasted more like chicken Tikka masala and I didn't see any nuts or rasins... either way it was amazing. We also got garlic naan which was very good and the rice well, was rice but good. They surprised us with on the house Gulab Jamun(??) Which was kind of them and it was sweet but not too sweet but soooo tasty!! We also ended up getting 2 of the large Indian beers and they were delicious. We normally get Tikka Masala and we love it but it was nice to try the new dish... very flavorful but now we are excited to come back and try their tikka masala and see how it rates against our local place. We came here after running to kings island and riding a few coasters.... and this was the perfect lunch. The staff was friendly, helpful and at the end of the meal they brought us out a little dessert- a mango cake ball in rice pudding. I am so picky and stick to my regulars most often but I enjoyed this sweet little treat. What a great touch! There was only one down side and that's the ice was freezer burned.. not worth knocking a star down but the soda was no good... with spicy Indian I neeeed my Diet Coke. Hope as a new restaurant this was a fluke :)... the food was amazing so we will be back to find out! The garlic naan bread was out of this world as was the curry. I order these two at any Indian restaurant I visit and this restaurant was definitely a step above in quality, flavor and creaminess. I love Indian food but often find options to be lacking if you want a decent sit down dining experience. Wok is definitely the exception to that rule. The interior is clean and modern. There's a wide variety of alcoholic beverages. The service was extremely quick and courteous. That's what makes it stand out. Regarding the food itself, it is on par with the better local places. We had curry, vindaloo, and makhani dishes. The vindaloo was the standout but all were good. We had samosas and they were quite large. I would agree with another reviewer that for our chicken dishes, there was not a ton of chicken, but the flavors made up for it for us. I also thought the prices were on par or a little lower than other Indian restaurants. If I want to have some drinks with friends with my Indian food... I'll definitely be returning, even with closer options to me. read more

This place is legit one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been to, whenever we go to King's Island we skip the park food for dinner and come here. While it's a little pricey, it's worth it. The service is pretty good, my only recommendation to the owner would be to stop sending server's to the table to collect the tip using the little machine. You are better than that, and it's a very manipulative practice. Pay your servers well and you won't have to manipulate your customers to try and squeeze more out of them. read more

Turns out the owners also own Indian Fusion in West Chester. I ordered the lentil soup and lunch paneer makhani. The lentil soup was decently good, definitely acceptable but not the best I've had (Indian Fusion has a better recipe in my opinion). The paneer makhani was absolutely GREAT! The paneer was homemade and it was obvious, best paneer I've ever had. Very tasty. I got the 6/6 spice level which was a nice kick. They brought a complimentary rice desert since I was a first time guest which was a very warm and kind gesture. I'll definitely be back to order online through their foodalot service. My boyfriend and I first tried Wok India about a month ago, and we've already been back about 5 times since. Every member of the staff is so kind and welcoming; the service is so fast and efficient. I always sit facing the TV they have on a cat channel, it is the cutest. Every dish that we've tried so far has been above and beyond our expectations. So fresh and hot, seasoned perfectly and the garlic naan bread is a must for dipping into your curry. The location is so nice, with free parking and a beautiful spacious interior of the restaurant. It's always very clean and we leave counting down the days to return. My favorite things on the menu are the mango lassi, chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. I knew from the smells when I walked in this place would be good. We were greeted by the waiter Love who showed us our table. We ordered chicken curry samosas chicken panner and another chicken dish. The naan bread was so yummy I recommend the garlic and cheese. We also got served a home made carrot desert that was slow cooked for hours and tasted like carrot cake! We also learned all about the waiter Loves journey to America and his love for America, and how he made all the good food. I have been eating at Wok India since they first opened; splitting my eating between Wok India and their sister restaurant, Indian Fusion. I eat there at one or the other almost every week. I think the food at both places is excellent. The taste is very good and the portion size is very good. The service provided by the personnel is excellent! They are concerned with the accuracy of your order, are attentive in fulfilling your requests and very friendly; not like a lot of the other Indian restaurants in the Cincinnati area. The restaurants are very clean and the bathrooms are very clean and nice. The overall appearance and feel of the restaurants is very nice, several TV's if you are interested. Had a pick up order from them yesterday and this was highly recommended by a friend. Here's what I felt The staff is very courteous and patient. The portion size is very generous. Good place for vegetarians and vegans. As for the food I ordered, their side of plain rice was yumm and so generous in serving size. The tarka dal, I can eat every freaking day! It was so delicious with just the right amount of seasoning. The aloo naan was bomb like literally I just ate it plain. I was disappointed with their mixed vegetables though. I have always had mixed vegetable which is not gravy back home in India but they make it gravy here and that's still okay but it tasted too sour. I could taste almost vinegar or too much store bought tomato sauce in it. Will I be coming back? Yes, because I heard they are very accommodating and I will be more careful with my order and ask them to make my order how they make it authentically in India and not changed to cater the non Indian customers. read more

I had the Mango Lassi, coconut soup, and chicken tikka masala with naan. Everything was so delicious and that mango lassi was perfect for cooling the taste buds when the spice was getting hot. I came here with two people who never had Indian food before and they loved it too. Service was very attentive and helpful in explaining menu items and making suggestions. The dining room was nicely decorated and a touch on the fancy side, but not stuffy.
