This place does something with its tofu other places don't -- it separates the fried tofu from the sauce instead of stirring it all in right away. What this means is you get delicious, crispy tofu with exactly the amount of sauciness you want. It's truly the best experience, and I wish I lived closer! read more

This was a delivery only experience for me. I called in my order and the process was smooth. They told me 45 minutes for friends dumplings and General Tso's Chicken. Not bad for a Friday in a big city. And much better prices then any competitors. My food arrived a lot faster than 45 minutes straight to my hotel room door. The total was just under $25 with tip and delivery fee included. The food arrives in study plastic containers and filled full. The dumplings were great and the General Tso's was actually sick (as it should be). If I have another Chinese craving again in Jacksonville, this would be my only go to. read more

Went and ordered a Pupu platter and House fried rice entree. Everything on the platter that was fried was fried so hard it was inedible. Chicken on a stick was dry like it was old the only thing decent was the Beef teriyaki sticks. And the House fried rice was bland and the rice was yellow? Meh. I ordered the "Singapore Chow Mein," and it was about what I expected. Not bad, but not exactly amazing either. Pretty generic. I guess I did like the texture of the shrimp in it. Ironically, the food is significantly better than how it looks on their menu pictures. They might have looked better when they first opened, but now they look like super faded, old magazine cutouts or something. Ernie and I bought lunch from here since we were working in the area all day today. I had the pork Egg fu Young and Ernie has General Yao's chicken and he also bought some crabmeat wontons and we bought had an egg roll. I loved the meal the best, the crabmeat won tons were so so and the egg rolls seemed kind of mealy or something. But, the flavors of the egg fu you did and the General Yao's was some of the best Asian Fast food I've ever had. The pork fried rice was was out of this world! They were nice enough to let me used their restroom. The place was very clean, the employees let me in 10 minutes early! I was going to wait until the 11:00am opening hour. We ordered delivery online & was never given a delivery time. I called to make sure they got our order & asked how long it would be & they said 45-1hr. So I asked if we could pick it up instead b/c we live right across the street. When we got home the food was mostly all cold except for the egg drop soup. Unfortunately even though several years have pass from previous reviews the quality of food seems to continue to be poor. I think the food might have been nutritious? But it really wasn't edible. Well, I took home the chicken wings with pork fried rice. The wings were crispy brown, but the taste is just OK. A little ranch dressing seemed to help. Their "fried" rice is yellow, they have cheap lunch and dinner combinations with the usual fare, their teriyaki chicken is red, the quality is ok, and they deliver. Wok house's food to me is nothing to rant or rave about. It gets the job done when you are too lazy to cook and are hungry. Have been going to Wok House since I moved to Jacksonville in 2010 since it was so close to UNF campus. I always ordered the Kung Pao Chicken cause it was different then almost all the other Chinese restaurants and it was my favorite place to get it from. I ordered it last night and it seems like they have sadly changed their recipe. There were also no peanuts in it. DISRESPECTFUL STAFF The only reason I am giving one star is because you have to. I just ordered delivery from Wok House an hour and a half ago when it finally arrived. About 20 minutes after I placed the order online through an app I get a phone call from a woman saying they have 2 addresses listed under my name and rudely asks which one is my actual address. I tell her that they both are because I am frequently at both addresses. She said okay and hung up. Then I wait an hour for my food to get here and when I take the food from him the receipt has no where to add tip and sign for it- which I have done in the past- and I had no cash. I ALWAYS tip but the man decides to throw his hands up and ask me NO TIP? I told him that I usually leave a tip when I sign for the food and he just says no...I start to explain again and he tells me that I didn't pay the full bill of my food - which is completely false. I tried to explain that I had no cash and I always am able to tip on the card but apparently "NO" is all he would say. I do not recommend this place to anyone because I waited way too long for one dinner plate anyways! read more

"My best friend slept with my ex so I slept with hers, in her bed, on my period" this conversation continued on to the topic of her virginity.
