This is the best Chinese food I've ever had. So, I am traveling for work staying at the hotel in the strip where they are located. This place is always good! I drive from ladson to Nexton just to get it! Everything is always fresh and yummy. If your worried about having to have contact while picking up don't be. They have it set up to where you walk in there is an online order table and you can pick yours up from they table. Now you will get a big Hello when you walk in and a Thank You walking out. read more

We love Wok N Roll! It is our go-to takeout! We have a son with peanut allergies and they are always very conscious! We do not risk him eating any of the main entrees, but they are so good about keeping our food as separate as possible (we do not have any nuts in our house because of the severity of his allergy). My favorite Chinese restaurant is closed so I figured I would try this one located in the new shops in Nexton. I ordered online, it said about 20 minutes. I arrived and it took another 25 minutes to have my food ready, I wasn't upset since they were really busy with take out due to the covid-19. Got home and opened it up, it looked like it was over cooked for an hour then shoved under a heat lamp for another hour. The sweet and sour chicken was over cooked. The crust was burnt and the chicken so dry we had to spit it out. The rice was also badly over cooked and looked like mush. You could make mashed rice out of it. The general tso chicken looked normal but the red sauce had a very weird taste in a bad way. The egg rolls again were dried out, stuffed with very little only some cabbage and terrible. I could never recommend this restaurant to anyone. The worst Chinese food I have ever had. read more

I ordered the sesame chicken & it was awful. Dry chicken with a sauce that was definitely not sesame? The crab wontons were good but that's it. Fried rice had a weird flavor to it. Would not recommend. read more

I really wanted this place to work out for us, but it didn't. We have ordered twice...a couple of weeks ago and on 12 AUG 2020. The first time we ordered, it was ok. The food was flavorful but it was filled with annoyances like the hot and sour soup...all the vegetables were cut as long as possible. Imagine three inch strips of vegetables in your soup and using a spoon to eat it. Its soup! Conform the contents such that they can be eaten with a spoon. We ordered shrimp chow mein and shrimp with broccoli. The shrimp in the chow mein were tiny and the shrimp in the broccoli were a bit larger...all four. On the plus in the order, I had garlic beef and paid extra for extra meat and they really did a great job. The second time we ordered, things slid further downhill. Again, tiny shrimp in the chow mein and a few medium sized shrimp in the other shrimp dishes. I had ordered the garlic beef with extra beef...I got a giant order of vegetables with some beef mixed into it. I have to stretch to say I received a regular portion of beef and certainly did not get the extra that I paid for. The online ordering interface is pretty confusing. You can go to one tab such as "Chef's Specials" and select garlic beef and it will ask you if you want add-ins but it won't have extra beef as an option...if you back out and go to the "Beef" section, you'll find it there under garlic beef and see the option to add extra beef. Also, the shrimp dishes were different this time. The first time we ordered, we received shrimp and broccoli with the white rice in a side container. This last time we received the shrimp and broccoli on a bed of rice. I'm sure we picked from the "wrong" menu item this time but if you call it "shrimp with broccoli", shouldn't it be the same every time? If one shrimp and broccoli comes with the rice in a side container and another shrimp and broccoli comes served on a bed of rice shouldn't they be called different dishes? Anyway, too random of an experience each time for me and I certainly didn't feel like I was getting the value I paid extra to get. read more

As most of you are aware this place just opened. And are we happy about that. Great food, fast service, pricing fair. We ate in and our food was hot and fresh. I had the Moo Goo Gai Pan which is a lighter sauce type chicken and veggies meal. Excellent. With the fried rice and egg roll it was enough for two meals. We have been looking for a good take out Chinese place. This is it for us. Nexton is the bomb! read more

This is one of our new favorites in Nexton. The ingredients they use are fresh and top notch. Crunchy veg, great sauce, tender proteins. Very much enjoyed the spare ribs as well. The egg drop wonton soup was very very tasty. We will be returning! read more

We were very underwhelmed with this place. I don't think my fried rice was fresh. It wasn't terrible, but it was no where near good. I ate a little and threw the rest out. The sweet and sour shrimp left a bad aftertaste in my mouth and was overcooked. This was our first time trying this place, and I was looking forward to it... We will not be going back.. I ordered online and could not be happier with this location. My order was prompt and ready at the time of pick up. I was immediately greeted by a gentleman and even though he wore a mask I knew that he was smiling. They were all wearing mask and that made me feel very comfortable. When we got home the food was still hot and everything was accounted for. My family really enjoyed the food and will come back again. My husband got the General Tso's chicken, he said it was the worst he's ever had. He said the sauce on it had absolutely no flavor and the chicken was horrible quality. I had the cashew chicken and it was alright. We have ordered from here a few times and it has been just alright. We definitely won't be going back. read more

We are new here and checked out Wok and Roll this week. Ordered to go, since dine-in is closed. They left out our crab rangoon appetizer. When I called, they got my address and delivered it to us. Was hesitant to eat here because in my opinion all of the Chinese restaurants in the area have the same menu and all taste the same. This place the food was great. Spotted this place on a visit to Bad Daddy's and felt compelled to add it to the list! So glad that we did. I ordered the Curry combination with Pork. It included fried rice and an egg roll. The egg roll was cooked perfectly. The shell was a golden color and the ingredients inside maintained a good texture. The Curry Pork was very well done and the fried rice was the perfect accompaniment to the entree. Many american-ized restaurants feel the need to pack a ton of other ingredients into fried rice. I am pleased that this rice, was simply fried rice. The pork, vegetables and curry sauce blended will with the fried rice, creating a wonderful dining experience! read more
