I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. My meal was inedible. The chicken wings were overcooked,beyond redemption, and the pineapple fried rice was a greasy mess. I haven't seen those tiny frozen shrimp in a while. The flavors were there, but the execution was terrible. read more

Very good and tasty! I ordered takeout. Sweet and Sour Chicken had plump white chicken. Most places I don't get plump white chicken when ordering this dish. The sizzling fried rice soup was very fresh. My daughter loves their fried rice! The delivery lady was very pleasant and food was packaged nicely and hot! I also get delivery. This is absolutely the best Chinese I've ever had in this area. I would consider it gourmet Chinese. The family that runs it is wonderful, friendly and they know how to treat their customers. I came here for lunch for the first time at this restaurant that has been here as long as I can remember. I'm just not much of a Chinese food fan, but every now and then like to give it a try. Around noon on a Sunday I was the only patron dining in the restaurant, though a few people came in for take out orders. There is one very friendly lady who works the front reception where take out orders come in and was also serving as a waitress. The restaurant was fairly pleasant to sit in, with comfortable booths and very soft background music. There was no television anywhere that I saw. The lunch menu had most dishes for around $7 or $8. I got sesame chicken based on one comment in Yelp. It comes with a choice of soup and fried or steamed rice. The sesame chicken had a little too much of a sweet sauce for my taste, but the chicken pieces were good, a little crispy on the outside with tender meat. The fried rice was ok as was the wonton soup I ordered. I got a hot tea with the lunch. The total for my lunch was $9.50. I thought this an ok place for Chinese food if you're in the area. read more

If you go to the trouble to read reviews before trying, my advice here is, 'keep looking.' Our meals were over-cooked, poorly seasoned ... reminiscent of prepackaged frozen Chinese food. Abosolutely awful! This "Chinese" food is a joke. They have generic, watery brown and white sauces and those are little more than soy and some broth. Their fried rice is anything but. It is just steamed rice with a flavor packet thrown in to make it look brown and like chemicals. The egg roll. Was double wrapped, which make it heavy and chewy instead of light and crispy. The filling was nothing more than shredded cabbage and carrot, which had no seasoning at all. We do have a winner in the regard that this is the worst Chinese restaurant I've eaten in in Atlanta. Don't listen to the negativity. It's not gourmet dining but they do have tasty food. They make their own egg rolls...not frozen. We have eaten in and taken out and had delivery of food from this restaurant for many years. Over time we have noticed the food quality has gotten very poor. Spring rolls are over fried, General Tso Chicken, a particular favorite over the years, is now over spiced and dried up. We ordered a delivery tonight and have been suffering since from indigestion. We have called them about their decline in quality but have not seen an improvement. It is too bad because they used to be good. My advise-Stay Away. read more

I just wanted to get out of traffic and eat some dinner, so I looked at reviews, and noticed they are family run, and make their own vegetable egg rolls, offered curry shrimp, and also some interesting vegetarian dishes. So I stopped in and sat down. My meal was really delicious (yep, vegetable eggrolls and curry shrimp) - it had been since college since I had a curry shrimp this good. To go, I took the eggplant dish, and Susan said it was the most complex and delicious chinese she had ever had. The owner told me her business story - 26 years in same location, all word of mouth, she and her husband make everything. If I am not mistaken he cooks and serves, too. I'll definitely go back. I'm *NOT* amused... This place used to be really good. They used to have a great atmosphere and have really quite good food. I say used to because I bought my father here for dinner on his birthday, and they definitely aren't, anymore. I should clarify somewhat... I lived around here and have been coming to this shop since they opened. Back then, they did some pretty good chinese. Take out was good, as was eat in. When my dad and I came in here on the 16th, however, I found that it was in sad shape. The only reason they get two stars from me on this review, and not one, is that the customer service was Meh, and the food wasn't horrible. I'm still inclined to go with just one star, but I'll stick with this anyway. The place was relatively clean, but when I checked out the food safety score, I found that they last got a 73 on the safety review. I don't recall what the various violations were that they had, but there were several of them, and at least one or two were repeat offenses. The fish tanks were both VERY dirty, and one of them had a smaller plastic tank inside it filled with goldfish, but it was clear that the goldfish were *NOT* being fed, as they were eating dead fish inside that tank. The water in both tanks was very cloudy. While this isn't really a bad thing from the standpoint of the food, it seems rather telling to me about the care they give to their store. My food was overcooked all around, and it's really not that hard to cook sweet and sour pork or fried rice. My father seemed rather happy with his food, however. If you have a hankering for chinese food, I would recommend going elsewhere for it. read more

Wonderful family owned establishment that's been here for 26 years. We ordered the family dinner which includes soup, the handmade egg rolls and choice of entre. Everything was delicious! Fantastic! We really enjoyed the food here. Very fresh, and the service was great. The egg rolls are homemade, which made them crispy and full and just delicious. My husband order general chicken, and I ordered kungpao chicken. The portions are generous, and the food didn't come out greasy at all. We were the only people dining in, but saw a lot of folks come and go for takeout while we were here. Apparently they've been here for 23 years.
