This place has to be the worst Asian fusion restaurant ever . It's health hazard avoid it at all costs. Id like to mention that , the glassware was EXTREMELY DIRTY ! That is what really set me off I've worked in food service before and know the ins & outs of how food should be served and how dishes need to be cleaned for healthy and safe food consumption to the public . The bathroom doesn't even have a proper trash bin it's a storage bin from dollar tree . There was moldy rags near the bar area once I received my sushi roll it came with PLAYDOUGH WASABI. I didn't even tip not because the waitress wasn't nice she was , but the food was horrendous, I couldn't believe it I tried to give it a chance but no , there's no way this place doesn't violate many health code violations. My dumplings were served on two pieces of old lettuce and my sushi was so STALE . My friends and I came here last night for one of my friends birthday dinners. This is one of his favorite places. This was my first time coming here. We had about a 20 minute wait for 8 people and 3 babies. We arrived just in time for happy hour but they didn't mention that happy hour was only for one certain area of the restaurant which was kind of disappointing. Our food came out pretty fast. I ordered the crunchy roll, a side of fried rice and a margarita. Everything tasted great! The crunchy roll was delicious and so was the margarita, it was pretty small but it definitely was strong! I tried a little bit of my friends orange chicken, it was good and I also tried someone else's garlic noodles, which was decent. We all split a crème brûlée cheesecake for my friends birthday, it was gone in about 30 seconds (literally) so I was not able to get a picture haha. Came in on a Thursday night and got seated right away. Friendly servers and food was delivered quickly too. We opted for the spicy tuna on crispy rice because I always have to try them. Tasty but they are huge! Would probably be easier to eat if they were cut in half at least. I had been wanting to try a fried tempura roll and although it was fine I think having all these fried items didn't sit well. Overall the food was fine but not amazing. Wokcano has a special place in our hearts because when we got married 100 million years ago we had our rehearsal dinner at the Pasadena location. They were very nice to us they provided vegetarian options which weren't on the menu, and we loved it. As a long time has gone by and we were excited to see that there was a location here in the Santa Clarita Valley where we moved recently. The menu is similar to what we remember but there are more vegetarian options available to order which excited us because we're vegetarians. Everything we ordered was delicious! (With the exception of the Dragon's Breath Cocktail.) My wife and I shared the Orange Crispy Tofu, the Vegan Kung Pao Chicken, and the fried rice. It was a little strange ordering the fried rice as they have a few variations on the menu we wanna just the basic one and we had to convince the waitress that it actually existed by showing it to her on the menu. But it was cleared up quickly and we got what we ordered. The Orange crispy tofu was delicious and reminded us easily of that dish made with chicken when we used to eat meat. The vegan Vegan Kung Pao Chicken was really delicious, with the caveat that the soy chicken was actually a little undercooked... This was surprising as typically at non-vegetarian restaurants you find that the faux-meat options are often over-cooked. This dish would've been absolutely perfect had the faux-chicken been cooked a little bit longer. The basic fried rice was also really tasty and we didn't feel the need to have ordered one of the other variations of it to get a really nice tasting rice dish. Portions were also generous so we had plenty to take home and eat for meals the next day. The Dragon's Breath Cocktail was disappointing. It wasn't particularly well mixed and the only flavor I really got out of it was the alcohol which isn't really what I want when I'm spending a lot of money on a cocktail. That having been said those vegetarian dishes were delicious and we would definitely come back to have them again and try other things. There's a full sushi bar and many other fine beverages to try. She did not even offer or ask if we are willing to wait. When I ask her how long will it take to get a table for 6 that's she answered it will take 11/2 to 2 hours . She was not offering or accommodating to even offer us available seat of whatever is available not until I asked. She denied us for service if I did not ask if there are any available table to seat and then she said she can offer a booth 2 separate ones and when we entered there were 2 long tables available. They were separating them to 2 and 2 sitters in which she could have just did to accommodate us for 50tg bday for my brother . It's an interesting concept. Food is a weird mix of different asian cultures that aren't related to each other combined into one restaurant. Kinda like a dennys for asian food I guess. Their menu is huge, with a little bit of everything for everybody. Don't know any other place where you can get so many different types of Asian cuisines in one crack. You can get chinese shrimp fried rice, japanese sashimi, korean kal bi, thai pad thai, indian curry and heck-- why not throw some vietnamese garlic noodles in there too? Like i said, interesting concept. But the focus is lacking. All these countries have different flavors. It's not a one size fits all thing. We tried to figure out what their specialties were and order that. It was hard to tell so we went with some "safe" options instead. Got the garlic noodles, fried rice, and some sushi rolls. Also ordered orange chicken and won tons because all of those dishes are usually pretty standard wherever we go. And yet... Nothing we ordered was good to be honest. Nothing stood out. Everything tasted dry or bland and the sushi rice was flavorless. We picked at our food and drank our flat sodas even though we were starving. When our server asked us if we wanted to take our leftovers with us (there was a lot) no one wanted to volunteer to eat it at home. I gave it a star because our waitress was okay. Wokano is better than PF Changs. Yes, I said it! Everything was fantastic. The ambiance, food, and drinks were all top notch. I came here for just the second time today. The food was good. I came with my family to celebrate my brother's birthday. We tried a lot of different foods. Decided to try "something different" from what I've had in the last few weeks, so I came to Wokano. When I say "different " I'm speaking in terms of having a taste for fried rice and vegetables, and Asian-style chicken sounded really good to me. I started with the Hot and Sour Soup, which was decent. The temperature of the soup wasn't as hot as it should've been, but decent flavor. For main entrée I ordered the Crazy Rice, with ginger, veggies, and eggs. I also ordered the Orange Chicken. The rice was delicious and the chicken was very good. What bothered me was the service. Our waitress came over, didn't introduce herself, and wasn't pleasant at all. Quinn took our order then disappeared. We had to ask the bartender for silverware, and she was kind enough to get what we needed. I didn't see Quinn again until it was time to pack up the leftovers and grab the check. Horrible service not the server fault a very pleasant young lady who was just over loaded with too many tables to serve ! The manager a man heard but ran away so he would not face the issue! Wakcano was one of my families favorite restaurants to go to we'd been going there for years. The last time we went we had a very different experience. For starters, the restrooms were dilapidated. Stall doors were broken, tiles were falling off and cracked and it was not clean at all. In waiting for a stall as one two were usable, I struck up conversation with a woman who was equally shocked by the condition of the restrooms. She ended up speaking to the manager about it. Then came the long wait times our server was nice and attentive but everything was delayed from drinks to apps to our meal. We ordered a Moscow mule and it did not come in the copper cup, this was due to theft of the cups so they only keep them on display. Half of our food was bland and inedible and the food that was eaten gave us food poisoning the following morning. We spoke to manger specifically to give feedback on the restrooms. A bald Caucasian man is who we spoke to who was hiding in the bad of the restaurant he was not phased one bit by any of it. Such a shame that a beautiful and once great restaurant is so poorly managed. We will not be returning and fully recommend you skipping this place. read more

Great place for lunch and late night meal. I've found Wokcano to be consistent in quality in all locations. I frequently order from Santa Clarita and Burbank. My go to order is edamame with garlic, crispy rice with spicy tuna which better than anywhere else I've tried, and lastly walnut shrimp with side of broccoli. In Santa Clarita most restaurants are closed by 10pm, so very limited on food options but not Wokano, they offer Postmates / Uber eats delivery. Service is above average, one thing I noticed towards closing hours of restaurant, the front hosts don't seem so inviting. Possible it's from long day of work so don't take much from it. I would recommend they upgrade the payment methods. Only accept cash and card, in this day and age parking meter takes Apple Pay or other digital payment I don't see why such a large franchise does not. Step it up. read more

The women's bathroom is disgusting the sink was filled with dirty water that wouldn't drain, it also has water all over the floor and toilet paper everywhere. My first time here and it was delicious. I went around 3p and there was hardly anyone there. The servers were polite and pleasant. The menus are QR codes that you scan with your phone. If you ask, they can bring you a paper menu. I am an inexperienced sushi eater but went for the Red Dragon roll and it was very good (for my taste buds anyway). I did also try the truffle Salmon roll and I didn't personally care for that one. To drink I ordered a Moscow Mule and they made it perfectly. Despite its cute whimsical name, Wokcano is underwhelming with limited vegetarian and vegan dishes that are mostly spicy. The heap of Pad Thai noodles were very greasy and underwhelming with a puddle of oil at the bottom of the plate. They are rice noodles and not glass noodles as falsely advertised. I threw in the towel 1/2 through. The Veggie Tempura was the highlight of my meal with crispy sweet potato, eggplant, string beans, and Japanese pumpkin. It was a pleasant surprise to see these veggies featured in the tempura and fried to perfection (cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, onion are the run-of-the-mill tempura veggies). I enjoyed filling up on my veggies! Wish there were vegetarian sushi rolls - sweet potato, avocado cucumber roll, avocado peanut roll, veggie roll, etc. The restaurant has all the ingredients to make some killer rolls - would love to see them added to the menu! The Lychee Martini was the best part of the meal! Everyone else at the table seemed to enjoy their sushi and meal, def felt like I was missing out as a vegetarian. This a local go to for cocktails and appetizers. I usually go straight to the bar area for a table. The servers are very attentive which is great. I love the pear martini. We went for lunch the other day and the ambience was quiet and allowed for a spectacular feast. We had the Monkey Brains, Baked Crab Hand Roll, Shishito Peppers, and Crab Wontons for appetizers. Then we moved onto the Deluxe Sushi Boat, Caterpillar and Peacock Rolls, as well as had time for dessert with the Creme Brulee Cheesecake! I have never given, nor did I ever imagine I would give, anywhere a one star review. I always figured every place has to have some redeeming quality. Well it turns out I was wrong. Went as a family to Wokano the other day and it was a mistake. Upon first blush the place was clearly dirty. The windows, the floor, our table all were not clean. Why we didn't leave I am not sure. The service, and I am using this term loosely, was awful. We waited 15-20 minutes for our waiter to approach and when he did he seemed sort of annoyed that we were there. He took our orders and drinks. When they brought our drinks all of our waters had massive noticeable floating debris in them. We pointed this out and asked for new waters. He begrudgingly brought new waters about 20 minutes later with our food. And the food. YIKES!! It was awful. The chicken dishes were ruined by chicken that was some how both rubbery and watery. The shrimp tasted like it had been thawed, refrozen and thawed again. No one in our party finished their dish and no one wanted to take any of the ample food left over home. To top it all off this place is overpriced for what it is, even if it was good. I can not recommend going somewhere else highly enough. read more

The dishes were tasty and weren't over seasoned. The dishes came with a side of rice and salad. The portions were large for the price. They're located at the mall and offer cocktails. The bad: The garlic Brussel sprouts were a bit too greasy for me. I would have liked for the fried rice to be a little drier. This location does have outdoor dining and food is fair. We started with a spicy edamame which had a good spice level. The white fish and vegetables was a bit over cooked and the two flavor Kung POW was a bit salty. The three star rating was due to service Items like salad dressing and Sriracha took 10 minutes to bring to table.
