Apparently this is green tea ice cream.....absolute joke.

Honestly, screw this place. I ordered online and had my bf pick it up. It took an HOUR past pickup time. Which was already an HOUR out. So he had to wait 2 fricken hours. Then he ordered ice cream on the side because I just had my wisdom teeth removed and wanted ice cream and miso and I got a ball of crap. Literaly ball of soggy crap. What the hell IS THIS? THIS was $60??? I am never ever eating here again. Thanks for ruining my night!!!!

Beautiful plating & the flavors were even better

Sad to say after a long time of not coming here, it seems like the reviews saying quality and service have suffered are indeed correct unfortunately. We were sat pretty quickly by a very unenthused hostess, but then nothing- for a good 10-15 minutes. Once we saw our waiter Eric, we ordered drinks and rolls right away and then again, nothing. He kept randomly passing by but ignoring us. No updates. Sometimes we wouldn't see him for a while. Eventually the gyoza but still no eel sauce or drinks. Another 5-6 minutes goes by and a man (not our server) randomly literally keeps fast walking past our table dropping ginger and wasabi, like quickly. Then our drinks, but then has to get straws. Then 10 minutes go by and our server brings out my partners roll. A few more minutes. He apologizes for the delay, but yet disappears again. Then finally eel sauce. Then we can eat. By this time my gyoza is cold, the drink is watered down, and we are like "what is going on??" there was literally 4 tables. 9 people in the section. I was just astounded. We wanted to ordered more for happy hour but at this rate it would've been over by the time we got the food. I did order the soy garlic chimking wings to-go and by the time he brought that and our check, those were also cold. The ordeal to get the bag and boxes...don't even get me started!! I've never seen this place struggle this bad. And as you see in my previous reviews, I had nothing but good things to say and we ordered a lot more then! The rolls sat up on the sushi counter for QUITE a minute before being taken. I don't know if Eric was having an off day or what but it wasn't as busy as I've seen it. Unfortunately probably won't be back soon! Sorry!

Hardly any crunch on a roll that's literally called an "Albacore Crunch Roll"

I feel like this place has gotten cheaper and cheaper with the quality of service and food. The service has been so bad and slow that we decided to get an order to go recently. When I picked up the order I opened the box and my rolls looked so small. I ordered an Albacore Crunch Roll along with a Sun-kissed Roll. When I asked the gal at the front for more "crunch" she had to go to the sushi bar to get it and it took forever. When the other hostess came by me she asked "did you get your crunch yet?" I said "not yet" she replied to me "did you pay for it?" I said "nope" and she said "well they are yelling to the hostess u need to pay extra for it." I said "nope" and as soon as the girl came to give to me I grabbed it and walked away. As you can see in my pic they hardly gave me any crunch. So don't call a roll an "Albacore Crunch Roll" if you want to skimp on the crunch smh ‍ It's just sad I used to love coming here but last few times it's been not good :(

We love the happy hour here, but we went on Valentine's Day only to find out they weren't honoring their happy hour pricing because of the "holiday" despite their website saying it is Everyday 3pm to close.

    Happy Hour!

Tons of Happy Hour options (even on Fridays!), and good food. We loved the rose roll (pictured), chicken wings, and gyoza. The bar has a nice vibe and was busy but well taken care of. The staff was attentive and helpful in their food and drink suggestions. Who can go wrong with $2 beer and $2 hot sake?

Hanging out in the Santa Clarita area and stumbled across Kabuki. My 4th location and noticed quickly that while the food is pretty consistent at each restaurant, there are different services and specials between them. This location has an Happy Hour every day of the week. I loved that and took full advantage. Ordered a couple of margaritas and a few rolls. The atmosphere was quiet, clean and a similar look to other locations. I had a great experience

We ordered grilled yellowtail collar, it was overcooked and as the result -too dry. The salad wasn't fresh. Disappointing

Delicious food! Amazing Waiter! This is our go to place for everything! The Takoyaki comes in a 4 piece so if you are big backed like me, get two orders!

This location is our go to for lunch. It is located in the Bridgeport plaza. The staff is extremely nice all the time it is not too loud inside and they have seating outside too. The food always tastes fresh and is so tasty. If you need a lunch or dinner spot Kabuki is definitely recommended.

We started with the garlic edamame, and WOW. Whatever magic is in that garlic sauce needs to stay exactly the way it is because it was absolutely addictive. We were scraping every last bit of it from the bowl. For our rolls, we ordered the California Roll, Baked Scallop Roll, and the Baked Salmon Roll with cream cheese. Every single one was outstanding. The fish tasted incredibly fresh, the ingredients were high quality, and somehow each bite was even better than the one before. It's rare to find a place where every roll is a hit, but Tokai nailed it. The service was just as impressive as the food. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. Without question, this is some of the best sushi my fiancé and I have ever had. We'll absolutely be coming back, and I can't wait to try more of the menu. If you're looking for phenomenal sushi, Tokai is a must-visit!

And a quick search from Yelp reminded me that we were here last time! I guess they are still attractive. This place felt like it was run by the Vietnamese, as all hosts and servers spoke Vietnamese to each other. The menu is as extensive as before, 2 full pages of rolls! One page is the standard ones, like the Lion King, sumo rolls, 49er's, and the other page is their special rolls. Unlike last time that we tried a bunch of their special appetizers (and they are still the same on the menu), we tried the rolls and bento this time and I think I like that more. We ordered the Teena roll, the Gilbert roll, an order of salmon roe sushi, a side order of chicken fried rice, and a tempura bento. The rolls tasted good, soft and slightly chewy in the mouth with a blend of all the sashimi and crab meat and sticky Japanese rice. The tempura bento was sumptuous! It came with a bowl of miso soup, a bowl of white rice, 4 or 5 pieces of gyoza, a salad, cucumber, a pre-cut orange, and 8 or 9 pieces of tempura of a variety. My least favorite is probably the salmon roe sushi as I wish the roes look bigger and more orange-y. Service was great. Although we were told they were busy and we might have to wait a bit, food started to come in less than 5 minutes! We didn't get a water refill but the glass of water was big. Dirty dishes were taken away timely too. I've been abused by the Bay Area exorbitant prices for a long time, it was such a pleasure to see rolls priced at $15. So overall, it was a good dinner in town.

It wasn't too crowded when we got there around 7:30pm on a friday and it sounded like everyone was enjoying themselves as well as complimneting the food. They were also speaking with the chef's wife like they were regulars so it made it feel cozy and comfortable. We ordered several of our go to fish, mainly albacore, blue fin tuna, scallops, and some seared tuna. Everything was great and we kept ordering tea so much that they kept the tea kettle with us. I ordered the Ananto Special Dinner bowl for my wife to go but because it was for dine in only, chef asked if I wanted to get sashimi instead with a side of rice, which I agreed to. As he was slicing chutoro, he mentioned what it was and I told him that was my favorite cut. Not expecting anything, he gave us a slice and it was melt in your mouth goodness! My friend and I continued to catch up and one of the outgoing guests bought him a glass of beer. Being grateful for the chutoro, I decided to order hot sake and share it with him. It was a great time. Highly recommend this place. I was too busy chatting it up that I forgot to take pictures of the food.

However, since we were already there, we decided to give it a try. After getting seated, we ordered drinks and wrote down our sushi order on the paper provided. We also added a few appetizers and rolls. Even though there were no other customers, the food took quite a long time to come out. The most disappointing part was the service. Instead of placing the dishes on the table, the server just handed everything to me directly. I had to take every single plate and set it down on the table myself. I'm not sure if the server was untrained or just lazy, but my wife and I could only laugh at how absurd it was. To top it all off, the sushi we ordered at the very beginning never arrived, even after we had finished all our other food. It was clear they completely forgot about it, so we just asked for the check, paid, and left. This was our first time here, and we definitely won't be coming back.
