Once again fantastic food. Came with my family even though they aren't big sushi fans because of all the other great food on the menu. Food here is great, get it to go. The restaurant inside is small and often busy. The service here kinda sucks because theres only 1 waitress ever even when they are packed. You can order all your food, have it run to your table, and never get a chance to speak to a server for another half an hour. Ordered the quail egg shooter, was told these come 2 to an order so we told the waitress we would share as we both wanted one. Turns out this is not easily shared, its 2 eggs in 1 cup. I wish the waitress had explained that or mentioned its not shareable. The sashimi is thick, great value. Sushi rolls are amazing, and the yummy shrimp is so delicious. I love the food here. The service, not so much. There was only one server for the whole place. We asked specifically for two uni shooters and the server said "why do you want two, it comes with two." I reiterated that's fine as long as my wife gets one and I do too. When the order came it was a single cup with two egg yolks in it, no uni in sight. It took about 10 minutes for me to get the servers attention again and they claimed I didn't ask for uni and argued with me a little. I'm done! I came for the uni. I said it multiple times when I ordered it because I didn't care about the eggs. In the end that's all we got. Very frustrating. I will just order takeout from here on. They seem too prioritize that side of the business anyway. Great sashimi though. I really wish they didn't argue with me. I'm just trying to spend my money to get what I want. We were in Dallas over Christmas break and I'm always looking for some good Asian eats. The first night, I was looking for some noodle soup on Christmas night for my toddler who was sick. I found some udon noodle soup and decided to order via UberEats, along with the Pork Tonkotsu Ramen and some pieces of sushi. What came was surprisingly delicious!! The udon noodle soup had a nice umami broth. The normal one, with no meat addition came with tempura crumbs and seaweed. Toddler devoured it; which was nice cause he hadn't had much of an appetite for anything. Ramen was a very decent portion and the sushi was fresh and delicious! We liked it so much we came by 2 days later for lunch before making the drive back home. There is a front lot that looks pretty packed but also a side lot with plenty of spaces! The restaurant was small and cozy. Service was tentative, yet not overbearing! -Agadashi Tofu: not what I was expecting at all! It was large triangles of fried tofu with a thicker sweet sauce, not like the tradition broth you pour over the tofu with the bonito flakes. Tofu was crispy and flavor was nice. I surprisingly enjoyed this dish. -Belly Fries: large sizzling platter came out with cheese melted over fries and bulgogi. We got the spicy mayo on the side so our toddler can eat them. Was good but on the dry side cause maybe of the mayo. -Soonduboo: I always love a good spicy seafood Korean tofu soup. This one came with the Korean sides and rice. It wasn't boiling hot like other places but came loaded with tofu, calamari rings, shrimp, and small scallops. Good flavors, though not as strong as I would like, and because it was loaded with things, it wasn't as brothy, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. -Sushi: we had an assortment of king and Scottish salmon, escolar, Otoro, tobiko, and unagi. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Fiance said the sushi was the star of the show this meal. I thought the unagi was a bit overcooked.
