[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place and area is stunning![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] First time visiting Dallas and came in for a birthday dinner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Beautiful decor, wonderful and prompt service and the food...absolutely decadent![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We tried a variety of dishes from the forbidden roll, house fried rice, the black widow roll and the desserts- all 10/10. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's best to valet if you plan to come here, a little upscale but very cool place to eat and hang out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thank you Ashley for the wonderful experience

I love sushi and was looking for a really good place since moving to Texas. My husband doesn't eat sushi so we needed a place with good options for him. We went almost as soon as they opened on a Sunday so it wasn't crowded. The servers were all very friendly and welcoming. Our server explained the menu, inquired about what we liked and made recommendations. My husband found several things he liked and wanted to try. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The food was good, the drinks were tasty and the place was nice for a date.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely will go back and take my sushi eating girlfriends when they come for a visit.

Tried TEN Sushi + Cocktail Bar. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good enough to make me want to return. The orange chicken looked very orange but lacked flavor. The rice was good, however I wasn't told there was a $6 upcharge for fried rice when given the option of white, brown, or fried, which felt a bit steep. The chicken gyoza tasted more frozen than fresh and weren't fully seared. We ate them mostly because of the price and the fact that we were hungry, but I've definitely had better. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was nearly empty, and while the staff was friendly, the service was a bit slow.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Maybe it was an off night, but overall, I don't see much repeat-visit potential.

We walked in around 11:10 and were told we couldn't be seated, yet were also informed that last call for food was at 11:50. When we asked about sitting at the bar, we were told it was for drinks only and that food couldn't be served there. At that point, it was less about the food and more about the experience. After a long week, you just want to feel welcomed and taken care of--and that simply wasn't the case here. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

Pro-tip: HH ends at 6 PM includes some appetizers, simple rolls, cocktails and beers. Service was fantastic. I wish I remember the server's name because they were on point and bad such a sweet personality. The food, itself, was just okay. But maybe it's because it's sushi in Texas? Beautiful decor inside and out.

We visited here for my daughter's birthday. She found this place on TikTok. It's a bit of a drive from us but acceptable for a special occasion. We arrived about 7pm and it wasn't busy at the time. We were seated immediately. Service was great - they were very friendly and attentive. Love the decor inside with dark colors flower trees (forgot name is them, lol). We ordered starters - gyoza and damage. Both were good. I got the shaken beef entree, and others got fried rice, sushi roll, and curry. Everyone enjoyed their food. They even gave my daughter a dessert for her birthday and she picked cheesecake. It was good as well.

Ten Sushi -- Dallas, TX Hands down one of my favorite sushi spots in Dallas! I went with a friend, and we ordered half the menu literally everything we tried was amazing. The Japanese nachos were a standout (you have to try them), and I'm pretty sure I had the rainbow roll, which was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. What really stood out to me was the service -- our server was so honest and helpful. I actually almost ordered something else, and he stopped me to say, "Honestly, that one's not great," which I loved. You can tell they really care about guests having a great experience. We didn't try any drinks this time, but I've heard they're just as good as the food so that's next on my list. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Whether you're a sushi lover or just looking for a chill, high-quality spot with great energy, Ten Sushi does not miss.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you have a friend that doesn't eat sushi, there's other things on that menu as well

Group of 3 and had a great experience ambiance is low lighting. On Saturday night they have a DJ and he was a vibe. Sushi was fresh and delicious we had the BG, Ten-tation, and two timing tuna. We tired the Ten House Miso Soup which is their take on the Miso Soup. It was different not something I would try again. We also tired the Firecracker Wontons, pretty good not overly spicy. Service was great and the waiter was attentive. He had great recommendations.

First and foremost, the service at Ten is 10+ stars. Noah is a true mixologist (you will be WOWED!)...Nicholas & Brian are true rockstars. These three and all of the staff are SPOT ON! The food is KILLER! Be sure to try the Forbidden Roll, the Firecracker Wontons and the spicy honey shrimp dumplings (only available during HH). The cocktails are off the chart and really fresh, pairing perfectly with everything on the menu. Let the pros make a recommendation based on your preferences! The decor is Manhattan Chic, with a sophisticated (yet not pretentious) vibe. They also have a lovely patio and the ladies room is spotless. Support this local gem!

A fun spot for a sushi dinner with friends, but a bit expensive. The ambiance here is great with lots of colorful lights and decorations! As a drink, I really enjoyed the lychee rose. We first tried the chili garlic edamame, Japanese nachos, and vc rock shrimp tempura appetizers. While all three were good, the edamame and shrimp stood out the most. The seasoning on the edamame was delicious - it's up there with the best edamame I've had. The sashimi was solid, but we didn't order too much due to the price. We also tried the black & yellow and black dragon rolls, and between the two I preferred the black dragon as the flavors went together really well. The service was about average. Our friend is vegetarian and he was given something with meat, which our waitress switched out after he noticed but is just something to be cautious of. Ten also has a cute patio, so that's another option if you would rather sit outside.

SPICY TUNA ROLL, CUCUMBER SALAD, CRISPY RICE

I have now been twice for their happy hour. You can't beat it! First of all you can park in the Union garage and they will validate your parking so no need to mess with street parking. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Secondly, it is so cute inside! Overall a vibe in there plus they have outdoor covered seating if that's your vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Both times I've been there my server has been very attentive and recommended items I've enjoyed. The crispy rice with tuna is the absolutely star though! It's not on the happy hour menu but order it!

Have you ever experienced a place where everything was absolutely delicious? Well Ten is your place!! The food, the drinks, the service was absolutely everything. Firstly get the drinks, any signature cocktail they are absolutely delicious, the fire cracker shrimp was to die for as well! However, what really stole the show was the Beijing beef plate! Omg it was so good and flavorful maybe the best I've had. Each segment of the restaurant is also decorated nicely and so we feel great wherever seated.

We came in near closing time, but Emilia provided us great service and stayed attentive even though they were clearly packed. We were seated at a table near the door, and unfortunately it had a vomit smell. Whatever it was, my friend could not stand it and had to get up and step away from the table. We first thought the culprit was the paper drink coasters, but then the staff removed the door mat near us later on, so maybe someone puked on it and the smell lingered, even after it was cleaned up. Clear Mizu ($16): This has Sakura vermouth and bitters, so we ordered it. It tasted like straight up gin and was not good. It was actually one of the rare times my husband could not finish his drink. Kyoto Sunset ($15): This one wasn't bad and tasted like honeydew. The ingredients include honeydew Calpico, so that makes sense. Johnny Walker Black ($16): This was our friend's drink, which I think was just coke and Johnny Walker. Nothing special about the taste either. Given the smell and so-so/terrible cocktails, we will not be coming back or taking our friends here.

At one point, our food was delivered while we were outside getting fresh air. The food was also disappointing. The scallops and chicken were extremely salty and lacked flavor, and the chicken was overcooked. When we brought it up, the server did little to address it. To top it off, we saw two large cockroaches around our table, which was especially noticeable in the dark dining room. The cocktails were the highlight, but overall, the service, food, pacing, and cleanliness did not meet expectations. One star. Very disappointing, and I'm not sure I'll be back.

The staff was very welcoming, and the other guests I encountered were friendly and sociable. The drinks were excellent. On my first visit, I had the Hugo Spritz, which was mixed to perfection. During my second visit, I tried the Bitter Lemon Soda, which was also very good--simple, refreshing, and without any overpowering flavors. I actually enjoyed The Bowen House so much that I went twice during my weekend trip to Dallas. It has an almost speakeasy-like atmosphere, with low lighting and a cozy, historic feel. It's also in a very walkable area, which made it easy to visit on foot. There is some parking available, although I would say it's somewhat limited. I don't think it would be the best spot for a very large group, but it would be perfect for a few friends getting together. I also appreciated that you can order a drink while waiting for a table or bar seating, which made the wait feel much more enjoyable. Overall, The Bowen House was one of my favorite places I visited while in Dallas. Between the atmosphere, welcoming service, and well-crafted drinks, it's definitely a place I would return to the next time I'm in town.

The hotel property is like four legs under the table - a great location, a great hotel experience, a great restaurant experience, and a entertainment experience (The Mansion Bar). At least one leg has been kicked out, one is suffering. The Mansion Bar used to have a great recipe for success - proven by how busy and regular the customers were and loyal (or was), and the top tier talent that was routine for 10+ years. Me and my friends have a relationship with the long time staff as customers as well as the excellent music talent. The cause? Not precisely sure but I think it's new ownership, at the very least a new Food & Bev manager. I also know the staff is very upset about these changes and the relationships with the repeat music talent is now a mess. I wouldn't be surprise if the staff start leaving. I'm hoping whomever is making these decisions can revert back to what was working. Dallas has a lot of great venues that will fill this void.

(I rarely post Yelp reviews so that's how bad it was) I ordered the steak frites medium-well (thinking it would probably come out well-done, as most non-steakhouses tend to do). After a long wait for our food (the restaurant didn't look that busy, but maybe a lot of to-go orders?) I received the pictured steak: I'm pretty sure I can still hear it mooing. How anyone could look at this and think this is medium-well is beyond me. I tried taking a bite, but it was so raw it was inedible to eat - I would've been chewing for ages. I brought this up to my waiter, who said he would take it back and speak to the kitchen. My group needed to leave for another event (didn't anticipate waiting nearly an hour for our food) so we simultaneously asked for our checks. The kicker? My waiter did not follow up with me on how raw the steak was and did not comp my meal/provide any kind of remedy. I wasn't looking for a free meal, but the lack of follow-through to remedy the situation was the icing on the cake (or insert some kind of raw steak pun). My cocktail (which all arrived AFTER our meals were delivered) was pretty good, thus the 2 stars. But I question why/how my steak was so raw despite me waiting 45-55 minutes for it. Overall, only come here for drinks - so long as you're okay with waiting forever & a day for them.
