BBQ chicken pizza
Mike Z.

Typical airport restaurant bar. The pizza was surprisingly delicious though and service at the bar was great despite it being quite busy.

The line up! Ready set order!

Service was great at the bar, ambiance was ok for an airport. The pizza was good!! So if you need a recharge before your next flight. Find the bartender and ask for a bloody Maria and order a pizza!!! Ready for the next flight. Thank you

Thai Chicken Wrap
Belle S.

Just landed in Chicago we took advantage of our 2-hour layover to grab a light dinner. After looking around for a bit, we decided to try Wolfgang Puck Express. Chris ordered the Caesar Salad with Chicken and I ordered the Crunchy Thai Chicken Wrap. Service was quick and the staff were very helpful as they assisted us make our choices. We sat a little quiet corner where we enjoyed our food. Great ambience despite the fact that it is in the middle of the airport! The wrap was huge and it was delicious! It was filled with crunchy peanuts, fresh veggies and it had tons of chicken! Chris's salad was ginormous! It was fresh and had the perfect amount of yummy caesar dressing with lots of chicken pieces!

Food is good. Service is poor. Ambiance is okay. I ordered ham & egg sandwich. Make sure to order first before paying. They will not, remind you.

We had a layover in Chicago and had a bit of time before our flight. We dined here and had a good meal and tasty cocktails. The prices weren't outrageous for airport food. The fries were some of the best fries we have had and a steal at $4. Service was good and when we have a layover again, we may come back.

Thai Chicken Wrap

Ordered the thai chicken wrap and it was good. Crunchy veggies and the dressing wasn't over done, just right. Tasty and not a horrible airport value at under $20 ....but where's the chicken? Think there was a little bit in there but not much. Overall satisfied with the lunch.

Wild Mushroom pizza

Pizza is okay, nothing special. The staff is cold and rude. I know this is an airport restaurant but basic kindness would be nice.

Mediterranean Omelette and English Tea

So now you all know how exciting it is to eat at the airport. This was my first trying Wolfgang at O hare airport. Must say that I have been overall impressed. Quick service and they prepare the food in front of you(not a luxury that some big names give you). Ordered the Mediterranean omelette and I was happy as the portion sizes were good and so were the prices. The tea was basic tea bag affair but I wish they had coffee or maybe I didn't search enough. If you want to eat something decent, definitely recommend this place.

Classic breakfast
Tiffany F.

The workers had customer service but the food wasn't worth it. We ordered the Classic Breakfast w/chicken sausage, eggs, toast and potatoes. The potatoes were dry and really they looked like potato wedges that were cut into halves. We threw the potatoes away. I asked for an over easy egg but my yoke was cooked too long.

Chicken sausage is not that PINK! This was Pork
Heather H.

I was really disappointed that the menu said chicken sausage for the breakfast plate and it was definitely PORK! I don't eat pork and I was not happy. They also DUMP a ton of salt into the eggs. I had to ask the lady to not put salt. I will never order from here again.

Goose island IPA

Service was good and it was a clean environment. I went with the baby kale and quinoa salad bc of the calorie count after being on vacation. HUGE salad and it was pretty good. Needed something to really bring it home, but it wasn't bad and I felt like I made a good healthy decision.

3.5Not bad for an airport pizza. The workers are very nice, kind, and friendly, which is always refreshing when traveling, and the ladies at the cash register were putting smiles on people's faces. The pizzaiolo was kind of sketch at first since he tried to re-warm an already done pizza vs. making a fresh/new one, but after a minute, he decided to make it from scratch. This pizza was about $15. The place seems clean.

Bloody Mary
Garold T.

Came in to enjoy a Bloody Mary at the airport. The last place messed it up with way too much Worcestershire sauce so I had to give the next place a try. Came in sat at the bar and talked with Michael S, couldn't ask for better service. He understood my frustration of trying to find a good Bloody Mary and helped me get the proper treatment I was looking for. If you ever come though Chicago airport make sure you look for Michael in terminal 3 gate K13

The food was delicious and every bite honestly was amazing we had the goat empanadas, the pita, and the shrimp salad. We shared between my mom and I and it was perfect I honestly wouldn't have changed a thing. We ended with the popcorn desert and I would say we had the perfect meal. I had the mezcal drink which was top notch, sun kid was good as well. I will say we did want to sit outside and they do outside reservations day of which I think is annoying to be from out of town and not know that, we planned this long ago for my birthday but besides that we got end bar seats and actually ended up giving up our table because they were better and we enjoyed watching the bar tenders. Reservation was at 5:30pm. No hello, no how are you. This is why I don't like overhyped places. Customer service sucks. We had two birthday girls with a party of six. One of the birthday girls really wanted to try this place out. All the dishes were very heavy on salt. After dining here I'm not sure what the hype is about this place.

Made last minute reservations for brunch next day after the infamous architecture tour. It was quiet as we've put in an early morning. All the more better to savor all intricate dishes from start to finish. Like the name, The Purple Pig, their specialty is pork dishes so majority of our orders were this. Daily special of the bone marrow bacon jam toast - glazed, slippery off the bone, savory and sweet. Always love a good bone marrow dish to get the sweetness off it. This was so good that there were bits of the marrow and jam left stuck to the bone, I took a piece of the toast and scooped the bone dry. Nothing left for anyone to attack this. Non pork dishes were the Mushroom 3 ways and Spanish octopus. Mushroom dish was savory with all the coated sauces elevating this. Spanish octopus was kicked lightly and easily can bite in to enjoy the tender and charred portions. But the award went to my main course - the braised pork shoulder with saffron, apricots and Swiss chard. Aside from the rippable pork meat when dining on it, the sauces fused together on this dish elevated it and had everyone coming back for more. I needed an official Chicago culinary experience and found it at The Purple Pig without a doubt.

The kitchen clearly communicates with the rest of the servers because even the food runners reconfirmed the allergy-free dishes/adjustments when serving our table which is so rare! We ordered the venison burger and, honestly, I was hesitant at first because I was worried it might be too gamey. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Service was attentive and efficient throughout our meal. They also have an impressive selection of signature cocktails. I didn't end up trying one because the drink I was interested in sounded a bit too strong for lunch, but it's definitely given me a reason to come back later for drinks. After we sat down, our server took her sweet time getting to us and was largely absent the entire visit while the servers for the others tables were attentive and present as I've come to expect. We started with the Crispy Brussels and Burrata Toast which was an amazing and fun combination of flavors textures with the sherry glaze and pickled onions providing a perfect counter to the richness of the cheese. Our second course was the Gage Caesar which we've had before and have enjoyed sharing multiple times, but this time the lettuce was full of grit as if the prep chef did not even bother washing the lettuce. The server never came by to check on us so I had to wave the manager to complain about the salad. The server also never checked to see if we wanted refills on our cocktails so we placed our orders with the manager. The final dish was the venison burger which was perfectly cooked and seasoned if you like venison, which I do so we enjoyed that greatly. The condiments that came with it were perfectly matched to balance the game of the meat and the fries were perfect as usual! The server then FINALLY got more involved with our dinner and was predictably perky and present at the end, something that always irks me when they have been otherwise absent for the meal. The ONLY reason they are getting 3 stars instead of less for this visit was the flavor of the food and the response of the manager in dealing with the lack of service (and the gritty salad). I would give the initial server a zero if I could.

Got there 10 minutes early and were seated immediately and served water. Our two top gave me a look at the open kitchen, and My wife a view of the dining room from side to side. Both decent views. Even though they set us 10 minutes before our 7 pm reservation, the server indicated our first course would come out around 7:15 - 7:20. They must do this to keep everything on pace for the overall service. Once the courses started coming the pacing was awesome and we made it through the 11 course meal by 9 pm. The pairings were very good. There was one cocktail and one rice wine mixed in, and only 1 red. We thought they could have mixed in another red as the profile of the whites kind of got monotonous. But all in all very good. On to the food. The only course that wasn't very very good was the first one - the kinilaw which is like a Filipino ceviche. It was tasty, but maybe needed some texture and a little more salt even though it had a good amount of caviar. The second dish was the oyster and shrimp toast which I thought might end up being my favorite. It tied for my wife'sfavorite. Very good and tasty and savory. The third course was their take on lumpia that you wrapped up and ate in a rice paper wrapper. Several courses were eaten by hand so very the meal felt very interactive. I'll skip some dishes description for brevity sake but the next dish that fought for best dish contention was what they called sinigang, basically a seared piece of mackeral in a tangy spicy broth. I like acid and heat and this one barely beat out the shrimp toast in my opinion. The Adobo that was prepared with mussels and king trumpet mushrooms was another dish that exceeded expectations. But the winner for me, and tied with the shrimp toast for my wife was the squab and dirty rice. So savory, tender and flavorful. Just a great dish and one that we typically wouldn't order a la carte. Many times on tasting menus the pastry part of the menu seems like an afterthought, but not at Kasama. I didn't get a picture somehow, but the truffle croissants were so excellent, sweet and savory at the same time, just really hard to explain how good they were. The other two desserts and the guava and cheese cake they sent home with us were good, but the croissants were to die for. Service was also solid - Our server Josh answered all our questions with enthusiasm. So Kasama deserves its two Michelin stars. Great meal and one of the most interesting Michelin meals we have ever had.
