I ordered the shrimp and grits, which were actually pretty good, and a Hennessy on the rocks that came with a generous pour. My first waitress was fine, but her shift ended, so I cashed out. The second waitress, however, was slow and not attentive. Since lunch was decent, I made the mistake of returning for dinner before my flight. I went to the hostess, who seated me right away, but my waitress never came over. After waiting 20 minutes, I flagged down the hostess. She apologized, took my order herself, and brought me water. When the waitress finally showed up, I ordered another Hennessy. This time the pour was tiny, basically a tablespoon. I asked for the manager, who was dismissive and insisted that was the standard serving. His customer service skills were nonexistent. Then my food arrived, chicken wings that were burnt and tasted burnt. I told them, and they claimed that's how they're cooked. I asked for the manager again, and he said he'd have them remade. I specifically asked that they not be fried so dark. The new wings were okay, but for four whole wings at $26, it was hardly worth it. If I'm ever at this airport again, I will not return to this restaurant.

The first impression was nice, calm, and professional in appearance. The seating was nicely laid out, plenty of different areas. I absolutely loved the library-esque atmosphere, THIS is what a lounge is supposed to be... not having kids running around, yelling, horseplaying, annoying guests. There were kids and they were well-mannered. They have a champagne and wine bar here - though not as nice as many other first class lounges, it was a nice offering and the brands were very nice too. They also offered a fun bloody mary bar which was self-service. This was really interesting as they offered so many things one could put in their bloody mary. Food here was tasty... the eggs were amazing. They offered an omelete station too. Overall, it was a nice visit.

This location is spacious like the other flagships but often has a bunch of people in it. The reason Soho rates above the rest is they gate access to One World Emerald customers only so it's a much more relaxed and considered space. This one allows in Sapphire as well so there's a bunch of bodies in here.

At O'Hare in terminal 3 we came across Bubbles. What attracted me to this place was the wine display on the back wall that looked intriguing to me. Most of these bars and restaurants serve house wines with minimal choices but Bubbles has higher end wines, Champaign and Prosecco, but not expensive and a variety of different wine regions and varietals to offer. Wines from California, France and Spain as well as Argentina. This was a classic wine bar that also served cocktails beers and mimosas. Limited to a Charcuterie board selection of meat and one that has cheeses but we did not sit down here for a meal. We came for the wine. I drank an excellent Cabernet from Alexander Valley and my wife had a Savignon Blanc. We ordered the Cheese Charcuterie board to pair with the wines. The bar atmosphere was conducive to meeting people and anytime you are drinking wine in an atmosphere like this, it makes it easy to do so. We really had a nice time here and will definitely be looking to spend my time before my flights here when in Terminal 3. Great find to spend our time. The service was great and friendly. But this place actually turned it into a pretty enjoyable layover. It was definitely busy when we walked up, but we were able to grab a table without too much of a wait. Once we sat down, the whole vibe shifted. For an airport bar, it feels surprisingly relaxed. The standout feature is the piano--while we were there, a few different people stopped to play, and it gave the space a really cool, almost lounge-like atmosphere that you don't expect in the middle of an airport terminal. The wine list is legitimately good, not just "good for an airport." We went with a bottle of Zuccardi Malbec, which was a great choice and paired perfectly with some chocolate we grabbed from a nearby shop. Simple, but it worked really well. They also have beer and cocktails if wine isn't your thing, so it's easy to find something for everyone. Service kept up well considering how busy it was, and we never felt rushed, which was appreciated given the circumstances. Overall, if you get stuck at O'Hare or just have time to kill, this is a great place to post up, relax, and make the most of it. Definitely a spot we'd come back to, even on purpose.

This is my first experience with an airport lounge, and frankly, I could get used to this! That said, while markedly nicer than waiting by the gate, the experience wasn't perfect. There is free food, coffee, and Coke products available. The food involved a hot entree, a couple sandwiches, soups, salads, snacks, nibbles, and desserts. There is also coffee, espresso beverages, and a Coke machine. The quality of the items was adequate. Since airports aren't usually gourmet destinations, I happily devoured everything on my plate. Happy that one is not relegated to McDonald's and can opt for something healthier.a Speaking of which, while you are free to go up as many times as you wish, the plates and cups are very small, needing several visits for those like myself, who have a black hole within their stomachs. Perhaps this is to encourage people to keep their goodies in the lounge, rather than take 16oz coffee cups onto planes. It would still be nice to have larger plates, so I save my steps for the terminals rather than making repeated trips to the buffet... especially since I don't want to leave my property unattended. In terms of the lounge itself, everything was very clean. There is ample seating, and there should be a spot available, but expect to share the lounge with many others. While both the armchairs and [high] chairs are firmer than I'd like, they do beat out terminal seating overall. Also, while not needed by me, I respect that they have "phone rooms" for those who may need to take a private phone call or attend a work meeting. A private room is more for you, though, as the lounge is more chill, without the hustle and bustle of the terminal. Finally, there are plenty of outlets throughout, and the WiFi is faster by miles. All the staffers in the lounge, from those who check you in, to the bartender, to those keeping everything bussed and clean were fantastic! I was about to dust my hands off and leave four stars... that was until I realized that they have an open bar! There's nothing like starting a trip with a drink to get in the mood. Sure, it isn't really free being included with the ticket price, but if I'm already paying for airfare, not having to pay $20 for a small and weak drink is a phenomenal bonus. Last but certainly not least are the restrooms: These were much cleaner and nicer than the rest of the airport. Think of a nicer mall as opposed to "airport." Final verdict: I can now see why lounge access is such a wonderful perk of either non-economy seats or certain credit cards. And that is an opinion shared by my fellow travelers. Why B doesn't offer the same food as C is beyond me after more than a year. That said compare United clubs in Chicago to Denver... Denver is way way better by no small margin. In short the best thing I can say about the Chicago United clubs is that to date they have not poisoned me, which is something I can't say about San Diego. Thus it's a place to hang out when your plane is delayed, which is an all too often event for United. And at that the Chicago club locations meet this minimal requirement.

The pizza puff comes super hot so I usually wrap it in my sweater and save it for after I get settled on the plane. It consistently hits the spot as long as I'm not burning my mouth =P The mozzarella sticks are almost 3 times the price of the pizza puff. They can sometimes squirt water and I've gotten them when they didn't have marinara to serve them with but didn't warn orderers and didn't offer ranch or anything to substitute. They are usually good enough for me to keep on giving them a try when the craving hits but wanted to give warnings so there aren't surprises.
