    BBQ chicken pizza

Typical airport restaurant bar. The pizza was surprisingly delicious though and service at the bar was great despite it being quite busy.

The line up! Ready set order!

Service was great at the bar, ambiance was ok for an airport. The pizza was good!! So if you need a recharge before your next flight. Find the bartender and ask for a bloody Maria and order a pizza!!! Ready for the next flight. Thank you

Just landed in Chicago we took advantage of our 2-hour layover to grab a light dinner. After looking around for a bit, we decided to try Wolfgang Puck Express. Chris ordered the Caesar Salad with Chicken and I ordered the Crunchy Thai Chicken Wrap. Service was quick and the staff were very helpful as they assisted us make our choices. We sat a little quiet corner where we enjoyed our food. Great ambience despite the fact that it is in the middle of the airport! The wrap was huge and it was delicious! It was filled with crunchy peanuts, fresh veggies and it had tons of chicken! Chris's salad was ginormous! It was fresh and had the perfect amount of yummy caesar dressing with lots of chicken pieces!

Food is good. Service is poor. Ambiance is okay. I ordered ham & egg sandwich. Make sure to order first before paying. They will not, remind you.

We had a layover in Chicago and had a bit of time before our flight. We dined here and had a good meal and tasty cocktails. The prices weren't outrageous for airport food. The fries were some of the best fries we have had and a steal at $4. Service was good and when we have a layover again, we may come back.

Ordered the thai chicken wrap and it was good. Crunchy veggies and the dressing wasn't over done, just right. Tasty and not a horrible airport value at under $20 ....but where's the chicken? Think there was a little bit in there but not much. Overall satisfied with the lunch.

Pizza is okay, nothing special. The staff is cold and rude. I know this is an airport restaurant but basic kindness would be nice.

    Mediterranean Omelette and English Tea

So now you all know how exciting it is to eat at the airport. This was my first trying Wolfgang at O hare airport. Must say that I have been overall impressed. Quick service and they prepare the food in front of you(not a luxury that some big names give you). Ordered the Mediterranean omelette and I was happy as the portion sizes were good and so were the prices. The tea was basic tea bag affair but I wish they had coffee or maybe I didn't search enough. If you want to eat something decent, definitely recommend this place.

    Classic breakfast

The workers had customer service but the food wasn't worth it. We ordered the Classic Breakfast w/chicken sausage, eggs, toast and potatoes. The potatoes were dry and really they looked like potato wedges that were cut into halves. We threw the potatoes away. I asked for an over easy egg but my yoke was cooked too long.

Chicken sausage is not that PINK! This was Pork
    Heather H.

I was really disappointed that the menu said chicken sausage for the breakfast plate and it was definitely PORK! I don't eat pork and I was not happy. They also DUMP a ton of salt into the eggs. I had to ask the lady to not put salt. I will never order from here again.

Service was good and it was a clean environment. I went with the baby kale and quinoa salad bc of the calorie count after being on vacation. HUGE salad and it was pretty good. Needed something to really bring it home, but it wasn't bad and I felt like I made a good healthy decision.

3.5Not bad for an airport pizza. The workers are very nice, kind, and friendly, which is always refreshing when traveling, and the ladies at the cash register were putting smiles on people's faces. The pizzaiolo was kind of sketch at first since he tried to re-warm an already done pizza vs. making a fresh/new one, but after a minute, he decided to make it from scratch. This pizza was about $15. The place seems clean.

    Bloody Mary
    Garold T.

Came in to enjoy a Bloody Mary at the airport. The last place messed it up with way too much Worcestershire sauce so I had to give the next place a try. Came in sat at the bar and talked with Michael S, couldn't ask for better service. He understood my frustration of trying to find a good Bloody Mary and helped me get the proper treatment I was looking for. If you ever come though Chicago airport make sure you look for Michael in terminal 3 gate K13

Actually the most rude service I've ever experienced. The Eastern European female bar tender probably wasn't a great hire. Try harder.

The salsa's they give you are delicious, and the red one has a smokiness that makes it a stand out. There was a crowd when I got there, but after many people had recommend this place to me, I knew I had to try it. Plus the centralish location definitely helps, my gate was in the C concourse but tortas fronteras is located pretty close to it so it wasn't much of a detour. They also have plenty of seating, but I took my food to my gate. I got the mushroom quesadilla, it was STUFFED. Despite the crowd I didn't have to wait too long either- probably took only 15 min. The quesadilla itself was delicious and super cheesy, but with the salsa itself was even better! Next time im flying through o hare I'll definitely come back!

Now they use a conveyor belt style method similar to fast food pizza joints. The bread doesn't come out as solid and the ingredients have changed as well. My go-to option was always the Cubana. It tasted like ones you can get in south Flordia. Now, it still tastes good but very comparable to any other joint that serves it. The service is still made-to-order and they alot 15 minutes to make the dish. If you're in a hurry, do not order from here. They do allow dine in as they have a limited amount of dining tables and access at their bar. One good thing about this place is they source some of their ingredients locally.

Then my hubby said their tortellini salad was a hit. I ordered my sandwiches and then walked around, taking in the location/store that my hubby had so many memories at. I see there is an area with slots in the connecting room next door. Upon arriving home only to find there was not any Italian dressing on either sandwich or surprisingly in the salad. The sandwiches and salad were dry until we added our own Italian dressing, and the salad is spicy, not refreshing at all. It wasn't until we finished eating that we did a search and found that the family sold the store a while back due to the passing of the original owner. We can say we tried it but will not return. Simply not the same.

Well I took Friday off and made this a bucket list to make a comparison to Old School Manny's deli…read moreand cafeteria. Surprisingly the food for their corned beef deli is delicious in another way. Quality was good it's not as greasy or thick as Manny's corned beef which you'll have a food coma if you ate a whole corned beef or pastrami sandwich over there here the way they make their sandwich is similar to Jason's deli if anybody remembers Jason's deli. Jason's deli was not bad but it wasn't greasy if you're the type that likes greasy salty corned beef if it's done right like Manny's then that's what you should go otherwise if you don't like that feel this might not be a restaurant or cafeteria to eat at. The corned beef in regards to quality their Mile high corned beef was light and delicious it's fresh too just like Manny's but not greasy and heavy. I have seen this on Facebook as well and they're Italian versus being a kosher Jewish and they've been around too but not as old as Manny's since they've been around since 1960 whereas Manny's has been around since 1942 and is as old as my parents. Ambience was very casual and friendly it was my first time I had a dress to the cashier it's not really a cafeteria style but you can still sit down and eat I would most likely come back also because of the prices since Manny's tends to be expensive for their sandwiches. This was expensive too but then again I ordered a chili and a tiramisu I was going to get a potato salad just to find out they had soups. If you're around Franklin Park in like Mom and Pop delis this is another good option and don't want to drive to Chicago for Manny's and an alternative to Jason's deli in oakbrook or in Chicago surprise I did not know the other Jason's deli at the four stars. Being an Italian deli it's going to be a bit more limited to certain kosher dishes so don't expect to have knish or matzo ball soup but they will have chicken noodle soup.

I remember it was a gem and couldn't wait to go to their airport cafe during my layover in Chicago. I walked and walked and walked to reach the Berghoff Cafe. It is located in Terminal 1, Concourse C, near gate 26 and it was TOTALLY WORTH THE WALK! Of course, I had the REUBEN. The fellow sliced up several thick slices of REAL corned beef and put it on homemade rye bread and added sauerkraut and Swiss cheese. He pressed it in a panini press. Then added the Thousand Island dressing. This was served to me in a TO GO BOX along with a pickle. It was absolutely delicious and very filling. The atmosphere was very nice with wood tables, a wood bar, checkered floor, etc. I wish though, that my EAT IN ORDER was placed on a plate. Everyone was eating out of boxes. This didn't fit the ambiance. THIS WAS THE BEST REUBEN I have had in years!! Warm, Delicious, Flavorful and Filling!! I highly recommend the Berghoff Cafe!! For the COMPLAINERS, why would you order a quesadilla at a German restaurant? It's like ordering fish at a steakhouse.

To break it down, it wasn't the chicken that really stood out. I thought it was the mix of ingredients was well proportioned and the bread was just the right texture and thickness to hold everything in place but not too voluminous. It was good, but I'm sure one could get an equally good torta in the city. Overall, it was fine. Was it better than other options in the airport? Probably. Is it amazing otherwise? Not really. Was it expensive for what you get? Yes, a little bit. When I'm at the airport, my goal is to fill myself up as cheaply as possible, in which case I probably wouldn't go back.
