    CYO Poke Bowl
    Vivien K.

Visited this place and really loved the concept. As someone who moved from just two miles outside of NYC, I definitely miss having endless food options. What I love about Wonder is that you can choose from so many different cuisines all in one place. I went with my mother-in-law, and it was great that we could each order completely different dishes and still sit down and eat together. She got the enchiladas from one of the Mexican spots and absolutely loved them. I ordered the create-your-own poke bowl, and honestly, it was better than any poke bowl I've had in the city. The protein portion was huge, and the fish was surprisingly fresh. It was also very affordable for such a large serving. For dessert, we both ordered the pumpkin pie from Four & Twenty Blackbirds. This is one of my favorite pie shops in NYC--I used to bring it back and freeze it whenever I visited--so I was so happy to see it available at Wonder. I also noticed they carry Magnolia Bakery's banana pudding, which I'll definitely try next time. Personally, I really like the concept and don't mind that the food is packaged and reheated. I mean, isn't that essentially how fast food works anyway? I think this is a great addition to the Canton area. It feels more like a takeout-focused location, but we were shopping nearby and decided to eat there. The only downside is that the seating area is pretty small. We were lucky it wasn't busy and were able to grab a booth, but most of the seating consists of high-top tables, which I'm not a big fan of. The tables were a bit dirty at first, but when I asked someone to wipe them down, they were very kind and took care of it right away. Overall, I'd definitely come back and would absolutely order takeout--whether to eat there or bring home. It's a great option when you can't decide what to eat, are craving multiple things, or are ordering with a group.

The "virtual" kitchen concept is incredibly cool to me. You can order through the app or walk in and place your order at a kiosk, and it's ready in the pickup area within 15-20 minutes. I LOVE that Wonder offers so many food options. Even though there are several different menus and cuisines, you can mix and match your order. I'm always indecisive and like a little bit of everything, so this is perfect! I enjoyed the baba ganoush and tzatziki with pita from Maydan, the broccolini with lemon-garlic sauce from Walnut Lane, and the seared salmon with hazelnut-cherry compound butter from Bobby Flay. Also very excited that they offer Magnolia Bakery's famous Banana Pudding at Room for Dessert I loved it all!

I didn't know what Wonder was and just checked it out today with a friend. It's a virtual food hall where customers can order from several restaurants in one location. The listed restaurants have limited options available but seem to cater to different dietary restrictions. I placed an order for pick up from Maydan and got their Chicken Kabob with a pita. The portion size was decent and I made my dish into a pita sandwich adding all the toppings provided. I really enjoyed the 3 sauces it came with and chicken was nicely flavored. My friend enjoyed his dish as well. The front of house staff was friendly and the place was clean. Complimentary water is provided and there is some limited seating inside. A nice option for some quick and casual dining.

I ordered a burger with truffle fries from Burger Baby and waited about 20 minutes for my food. Given that this concept is supposed to be quicker and more convenient than a traditional sit-down restaurant, the wait felt longer than expected, especially since there were only about three orders being prepared at the time. Unfortunately, the burger was significantly overcooked. The truffle fries were just okay, but a bit soggy. Overall, the experience didn't quite live up to expectations for speed or quality.

Definitely a must for food connoisseurs. WONDER is like a food court with a dozen or two different restaurants supported at each location. You can order via app or at kiosks inside. There's also some printed menus available. Menus are limited and don't reflect each restaurant's full smorgasbord; however, the options they do offer are curated well. The interior of the restaurant was bright, open, and clean, but the furniture quality is the budget friendly IKEA style, not built for comfort but fast dining. That being said, I have no complaints other than staff could wipe tables more often and stock napkin dispensers. We really enjoyed our WONDER experience and will be incorporating future visits, even as we cut our dining out budget in '26. WONDER was fun, enjoyable, and delicious, and I'm glad to have tried newer cuisine that was made fresh and delicious.

The "Wonder" about wonder is how DO THEY DO IT? In a relatively small space, they "squeeze" roughly 20 (?) take-out restaurants into one unified ordering conglomerate -- for dine-in or delivery.. There is a little something for everyone -- and if your family member or friend is still fussy and isn't pleased then you need to orphan them! We came here to celebrate my bestie's birthday and to investigate what the fanfare was all about. What we discovered is an innovative dining experience. Self-service ordering kiosks, paper menus for the technically challenged, smartphone app ordering, and pickup cubby holes. The first visit will likely be the most overwhelming -- we had to get a feel for what was available and offered on the table. With dozens of menus, it took a good 15-20 minutes for us to decide. There is so much variety - from budget to high end and cuisines from nearly every continent and dishes to suit every palate -- wings, burgers, chicken, kabobs, pizza, steak, tacos, poke bowls, salads, pastas, Chinese, Thai, Greek, Shawarmas, tapas, and list goes on and on and on. Not knowing what was good, and to celebrate my BFF's birthday, we decided to order items from several menus to give this new concept a true test. Although we REALLY wanted to order from every menu, there would be no way for the two of us to consume all that food in one sitting. Here was our order: Fred's Meat&Bread: CheeseSteak Combo Maydan: Chicken Kebab w Flatbread Streetbird by Marcus Samuelsson: M's Fried Chicken Sandwich Burger Baby: Classic Cheeseburger Combo Royal Greens: Mandarin Crunch Salad Bobby Flay Steak: Creamed Spinach, Mushroom & Truffle Mashed Potatoes What I found ABSOLUTELY REFRESHING was the kiosk did NOT ask for tip for dining in and serving myself at a self-serve kiosk. In today's post-world crisis 2020 environment, every place seems to beg and pimp me out for gratuity in the craziest of places. This actually affected my overall perception of value. Since I did not need to factor in 15-25% gratuity, my food dollar stretched further. Most every entree I found reasonably and comparably priced. All the food was good and nothing was inedible. What stood out was the Streetbird Fried chicken Sandwich. It was the least expensive of the bunch yet the tastiest. The burger and cheesesteak were tasty but underwhelming - the meat left something to be desired for a "restaurant" or non-fast food preparation -- I will likely not repeat. The Bobby Flay Steakhouse sides were not as outstanding as the dishes they serve in the actual steak house. The salad was fresh and appetizing. The dining area was brightly lit, clean, and modern. The tabletops and hi-tops are short and a bit cramped, except for the two full tables next to the mirrors. Overall, I give this place 3.5 stars rounded up to 4 for creativity, convenience, and clean. There will be growing pains here I'm sure, but this place will be a crowd pleaser -- simplifying deciding where to go with a group of friends without breaking the bank.

Wonder is a single kitchen "food hall" made up of established, non-local restaurants that offer select menu items. It is intended for take out and delivery and items can be ordered from multiple restaurants under one order. Many meals are prepped and pre-cooked at a commissary kitchen and sent to each Wonder location for final cooking. I tried both take out and delivery (no delivery fee). The process was easy, simple and fast. The packaging strives to be environmentally friendly and is mostly so, though there is room for reduction and reuse. However, most all the food is mid, bland, qualified as sustenance but was not great. The poke bowl, soup, and carrot souffle were the only items I'd consider ordering again. Burger baby, veggie burger: no texture, bland, non descript sauce. Really not good. Hanu Poke, tuna and salmon bowl: everything was fresh and marinade was good, the fish was lower quality (to be expected maybe). Maydan, brussel sprouts: flavor/spice blend was good, but they were clearly pre-cooked and then tossed in the fryer (mushy on the inside). Streetbird, mac and greens: it was creamy and the pasta was cooked right, but no flavor in the pasta, cheese sauce, or greens. The price point on most items was appropriate because it is mid level food. Even a couple dollars more on anything would make it feel expensive for what you're getting. Eating out can be expensive but I'd rather save up and get more delicious food from local small businesses.

Me and my homegirl were on a budget, so we only stuck to appetizers. I still think it was a little pricy even after splitting, but I would come here again to focus on the entrees rather than the appetizers. The seating is shared between all the restaurants inside the market hall, and we came at a pretty quiet time. Even though it was slow, we did wait quite a bit for our food. We were given the option to have our drinks served first, giving us some down time to mosey around the rest of the market with something sweet to sip on. We were notified that our food was ready, via text. We had the Curry Puff and Moo Ping Nom Sod. The Curry Puff filling was delicious, and the onion vinaigrette was essential to cut through the rich pastry. We spent most of our time in the food court mumbling through stuffed cheeks about how good the pastries were. The Moo Ping Nom Sod was good, surprisingly not as salty as other Thai restaurants. This enabled you to truly enjoy the vegetables it came with, as well as the steaming hot rice that came individually wrapped, ensuring that the rice would be soft even after opening the container.

It's a sad shell of a space now. To think there used to be penguins and monkeys there. Eastpoint is now a popular local meme: "If Eastpoint Mall hasn't given up neither should you"... However, several stores and kiosks are still decorated for Christmas and it's August, so I don't know about the "not giving up" part. I have never seen so many downtrodden employees, lounging in empty stores, scrolling aimlessly through their phones. They know no one is coming to save them from the relentless boredom. Someone will rob one of the jewelry stores, if they're lucky. There are three food stalls in the food court: a Japanese place that doesn't give samples (I grew up having sample givers chase us through half the food court), a chicken box/fish spot, and the pizza place that has been there since the dawn of time. Nothing substantial. Definitely nothing that could be called a national chain. Want a cheeseburger? You're going to have to leave the mall and walk across the parking lot to McDonald's. JC Penney is the only anchor store, which never bodes well. Value City is gone. I swear my mom must have bought 90% of her furniture there. Remember when there was an Ames there? Or the Kmart? There's a haunted house in that space now. How very Dundalk. What other mall do you know that has a haunted house in it? There wasn't anything that I particularly wanted to buy out in the mall. I like to take a spin through about once a year. Watch the slow decay of yet another happy memory of my childhood (we used to go to the Friendly's there - it was across from the Brass Hen - and that's where I learned I love black raspberry ice cream, for example). I won't be surprised when it finally closes. I'll be sad, but that's the fall of capitalism for you. It's a race to the ultimate finish line between Eastpoint and Marley Station in Glen Bernie. And for 3 summers in a row, they had customers lined up. There are 9 Shake Shacks in Maryland. Shake Shack Inner Harbor is located on the corner of Commerce St. and E Pratt St. I've walked past this a few times before. I stopped by on a weeknight while in the area to get some food to take home, around 940pm on a Friday night. It was super busy, and a lot of people were in the restaurant dining in. There are a few kiosk touch screens on the counter where you can order your food. You pick a number to attach to your order and that's what they call out when your food is ready. There are a lot of tables inside the restaurant to sit and dine at or to wait for take-out orders. It's been a while since I've been to a Shake Shack. The last time had to have been 1am in Las Vegas by the NYNY hotel (side note, that location is open until the early morning hours if you ever need food late). As I was glancing at the menu the limited time only," The Big Shack" burger definitely caught my eye. It looked as perfect as a burger should be! Described as "Two 1/4lb Angus Beef patties, secret sauce, green leaf lettuce, American cheese, pickles, tomatoes, and onions on a three-layer toasted potato bun Potato Bun." Yep, definitely had to get that. And this burger tasted as good as it looks! Bacon Cheese Fries, "crispy, crinkle cut fries topped with melted cheddar and American cheese and applewood-smoked bacon". Yums, yes please! The fries were very crispy. I also saw that they have a limited time only, Popping Boba for an upcharge, I definitely wanted to try that. I got the "Pomegranate Sweet Basil Lemonade: Pomegranate, basil, and lemongrass mixed with our Shack-made lemonade" with the "Mini Raspberry Popping Boba". I got the Frozen Custard with double scoop, 1 in Vanilla and 1 in Chocolate. The frozen custard is made in house every day with milk and eggs. It's very rich and sweet. I preferred the chocolate flavor over the vanilla as the egg flavor was hidden within better and not as standout. It didn't take too long until my food was ready. I did a quick check over all the items to make sure they didn't miss anything (highly recommended to check your orders anywhere, any time, and for any item LOL). After drinking some of my drink, I realized the Mini Raspberry Popping Boba I had paid extra for were not in sight. I went back to the counter and asked about this. A supervising worker asked another employee to make me a new drink with the Popping Boba. And told me to throw my current drink out. I appreciated how fast the problem was fixed. It wasn't a big deal at all and because of how busy the restaurant was, I can see mistakes happening. One con is that all the items at Shake Shack are ordered ala carte, since they don't have combo meals. Sooo, it can get very expensive, even for just 1 person.

These things were pretty consistent across their other dishes as well, including lo mein and hunan chicken; veg pieces too big, flavor not there, sauce too thin and not dark enough.
