    Vodka Pizza
    michael a.

This place is one of those One kitchen many restaurant places that have been popping up. I ordered a vodka pizza from Alanza Pizza selection. It wasn't bad It was freshly made mildly warm by the time I came to pick it up. Is it going to be as good as if you went to these actual restaurants brands No but it isn't bad either. Love the concept and the food ain't bad. I ordered on the app and they kept me updated throughout the entire process. The actual restaurant itself has a few seats and they do take walk in orders. Overall it's a great concept and brings more selection to the area which is never a bad thing even if it's all done in one kitchen.

So these "restaurants" are all displayed on the app as different restaurants and somehow supposed to be food from top iconic chefs. But it's a service counter designed for pickup or delivery orders. And it looks like fast food in the back. So where are they cooking and prepping all this stuff and is it frozen and reheated ala Applebee's? Hmmm? I ordered the BBQ from Tejas BBQ and I got the combo 2 meats and 3 sides normally priced at 45 plus tax. If you choose their 'free delivery' they still charge extra in service fees, so delivery would have been $58 after tax and fees, but I picked up so after the $20 off coupon I got in the mail it was $28 out the door. When I got it home I was excited to give it a try. The combo had over half lb of "pulled" pork, just around a half lb of brisket, half lb of Texas pinto beans, a half lb of potato salad and a nice square of corn bread and came with pickle slices and bbq sauces on the side. I prepped a plate with half the offerings, saving half for my son, and as you can see it was a decent sized plate. It looked tasty and few of the things were. But most were not Pulled pork was actually chopped pork. Now I'm not splitting hairs but if you're a BBQ JOINT (gourmet BBQ) you should certainly know the difference and label your food accordingly. The pork lacked flavor other than the commercial style BBQ sauce it came swimming in. Smoke flavor was zero, tasted like school lunch. The brisket had no smoke ring, was soggy and grey (take a closer look at that photo... Yeah grey) Again it lacked flavor with zero smoke flavor and the bark was as bland as the grey meat. The Texas pinto beans were the only star of this less than mediocre meal. Saucy, tasty and with a nice hint of smoke flavor. The potato salad was decent. Potatoes were diced very small which was different. The flavor was better than commercial premade but nothing you would have at a BBQ and need to 'get that recipe' The corn bread was average. Not bad but again nothing special. BBQ isn't cheap there's a lot of time and effort (usually) put into it. So for the amount of food for $45 I don't think they are over priced. The problem is that it's just not good. If you're having it delivered and it's $60 plus tip and now you're over $70 it's way overpriced and again it's still mediocre. Skip Tejas BBQ unless you really think Applebee's is gourmet BBQ... Hmmm, that might be who's doing the cooking? Did I get duped into eating Applebee's ‍‍ Until we eat again... TTFN

Really nice staff. Always very clean. Massive menu of all different types of food. I always find something. Definitely an elevated dining hall experience.

The pictures looked great but what you got was terrible. My chicken sandwich was exactly like the one from McDonalds. I wouldn't go back. I'm glad I didn't order from one of the more expensive restaurant options.

I've come here a few times over the years, and I have repeatedly had problems. I typically ask for the meat on the side, and there's about a 50/50 chance it comes on top. They also messed up my order several times, and there's a chance they refuse to replace it (even if the receipt item doesn't match with what they gave me). I do not blame the cashiers or workers for this because I've ordered with several of them and had the exact same issues. This is a management-level problem. Most recently, they charged me for something I didn't order and said they were unable to do a partial refund. I told them that I didn't order the item and didn't want it, and they told me that a refund wasn't possible, so they gave me the item and a bonus soda. I appreciate the attempt to make up for it, but it just isn't enough. Why am I forced to buy something I didn't want? It also didn't even taste good. I can understand making a mistake every once in a while, but this is excessive. I won't be coming back to eat here again, and I can't recommend this place to anyone.

Of course, this was more Korean, but they had it in their Menu) I chose this Korean Restaurant over another Korean in Edison because it was Charcoal BBQ and I saw UNI (so, it's kill two birds in one). Of course in any Korean Restaurant, I always look for their Banchan - it was so delicious. Services - Staff were all so friendly, gave us fast, attentive service. Ambiance - Came in around 4pm for early dinner. There was one other table with 4 people who just finished their lunch and left after a few minutes. Place was clean and we were seated right away in the back (since we were actually the first for dinner time) for the BBQ table which was the second table by the wall near the kitchen. I forgot to take pictures, but it should look like all the other pictures. We would return again when craving Korean. I give 4 Stars only because they didn't have the Uni and Green Tea Ice Cream. Next time I go here, I will try the other foods.

This place is always packed beginning Friday evening and throughout weekends. Finding a table is quite challenging and then you may find some rude customers pulling chairs or plotting themselves at your table without asking you if the chairs are taken. All these hajumas (Korean word for older women) bring their empty shopping carts and cram the carts in the aisle walkway...really really annoying. The lady owner greeted us and immediately advertised their presumably signature dishes: Steamed Cold Noodles (Liangpi 涼皮) $8.99 and Chinese Hamburgers (肉莢膜) $4.99. I normally don't take recommendations because I am afraid they might be the leftovers restaurants want to get rid of fast, but I relented this time. I only had Liangpi once in my life and I really wanted some verification. And I've had their Chinese Hamburgers before and I knew they were decent. In addition, we added Beef with Spicy Green Pepper Over Rice $12.99 which was only advertised on the wall, nowhere to be found on the menu; and the Shrimp Fried Noodle $11.99. Liangpi: It's unique, not easy to make, tastes good and refreshing. Vegetarian. Chinese Hamburger: A safe choice that can please everyone. Beef with Spicy Green Peppers: Good portion, addictive and most satisfying. Shrimp Fries Noodle: Forgettable. Not much different from a Chinese takeout anywhere in the US. One last thing: bring lots of cash! Even though they do take credit cards, they levy hefty surcharges and the lady owner wouldn't be happy either. None of these was mentioned when I placed the order. I don't think that's the first time they ever did this, as I saw similar reviews complaining about it. If you order multiple items, do the math yourself and ask. Plus the food is just ok - I personally don't think the noodle was really handmade as they claimed. I ordered mild but my dish was very spicy. I can handle spice but I feel bad if anyone orders this who can't. I'll include a picture with the amount of Szechuan peppers in this dish. The menu says pork belly but what they actually mean is thinly sliced pork which is not the same.
