The cashier-- very unprofessional and rude. Maybe because I was black.

This food was horrible-- it was served very cold. The egg, everything was cold, even the beef. I had the beef bibimbap. I went to this cashier in the image and asked why the food is extremely iced cold. He did not care. I asked him if he can heat it up-- he said no and ignored me.. maybe because I was not the right color. This is located in the New Jersey American Dream mall. I was very disappointed in the service. As simple as hearing the food up I was told no. A blunt no. I do not recommend the service. I will be further posting about this on other social media platforms. It's the principle of things. I didn't even ask for the money back. Just for the food to be heated.

the worst bibimbap and the marinated pork over rice comparing to any food court. Terrible customer service, not the surf tips not recommended and will not come back

This review is based solely on the food that I ordered which was a tofu soup. I would say I have tasted better. It's lacking some flavors, the shrimp they used felt to me, were just some of the readily cooked cocktail shrimp you buy from a grocery store. The wait was also rather long for a foodcourt type of food. I suggest you go next door (to so gong dong) if it's still open, if you really are craving for a good tofu soup.

I wished I could like this place; the menu items were pretty standard and sounded appetizing, however, it was a bit pricey for the amount they gave you. From the photos it looks full, but it actually is not. The flavours are nice, but maybe not enough appeal for me to go back. The service was subpar, the young guy behind the counter did not look like he wanted to be there. It is in the Hmart food court so it is basic food court style tables.

    Bibimbap hot stone bowl

Came here on Wednesday night and thankfully the food court isn't too busy. The re-grand opening of the food court was not too long ago and we're welcoming Korean bbq chicken, street food, and other food stalls. At Sang Tofu & K BBQ, you can order the food at the cashier or go to their corner kiosk and place and pay for your order. You'll receive a receipt with a number printed. There is a tv monitor at the corner and whenever your order is ready, the last two digits on your numbers receipt will be announced as well as displayed on the screen. Okay, now onto my tofu and seafood soup! Yummy! While the hot stone is sizzles all the deliciousness of the seafood, crack the raw egg and let that baby sizzle it's way to being cooked. I like the flavorful tastes. It's not mild nor too spicy where you'll need to wash your throat with gallons of water. The spiciness was just right for me. Tofu/seafood was good. My son had the bibimbap served in the stone pot and said it was good. For two dollars less, you can have the same dish in a regular bowl. It's so worth the $2 more to get the stone pot for the extra crispy rice. I had to knock off a star due the higher price compared to some other local food courts, and they don't offer free water like they used too years ago. Overall, it's still a decent place to dine.

For lunch, I grabbed the beef rice in stone clay pot (around $17ish?). I think it's a bit overpriced for what they give but it could be worse. I waited a bit and got my food when my number was announced. I'm so glad they have a monitor that displays the number in huge font. You can either order via kiosk or through the cashier at the front. There's plenty of beef in the bowl and veggies mixed in. I was able to get a nice rice crunch, there's not that much rice in the bowl but it's still very filling. It came steaming and sizzling hot. I think this is the only food court spot at Hmart that sells the sizzling clay pot. They also sell their onigiri for around $3.50? There's also lots of parking but if it's busy hour, good luck finding a parking spot and table.

    Beef bulgogi bento box

This place is inside the H Mart supermarket food court. The food court was recently remodel and this place is located at the end of the row. We decided to give this place a try since I like Korean food and bento boxes. The bulgogi box was made to order so it took a little bit of time waiting but not too long. The meat and flavors was good so I couldn't complain. However, 20 dollars for a bento box is steep even with the supposed food increases. Don't eat here a lot because it will add up. Overall, decent food but pricey.

Lots of staple food options with some premade take out options for quick grab and go. They have a self check out kiosk.

First time here, was going to give a 3 to 4 star but as you can see I watched a worker press the rice with only 1 glove on and was using her hand without the glove to press it into the box Sad part when she saw me looking she just kept going like it's ok to handle food without gloves The beef bone soup was ok Tofu soup seafood was a lot better and really spicy

    Spice beef with kimchi soup

Big bowl of Spicy beef soup , was tasty and side of kimchi.. Great value for the price. BTW it's in the food court of HMart.

Had a nice meal with my family before shopping for groceries at HMart. Chose to order here since it seems like there was a long line, suggesting it's worth a try. Generous enough portion and quite delicious. The seating area is generic like any other food courts. Could be busy during weekend lunch time.

Tried the revamped food court in Hmart, this one is located at the very end. Loved the stone rice pot with pork, it was flavorful and the rice crisped up at the edges the longer it sat there. Food came out fast too.

You still have to grill it yourself. They are one of the rare ayce kbbq restaurants that has LA galbi! Alao featured of course is pork belly, and various other beef cuts depending on the tier you choose. We chose the cheaper tier and it was still great. The price was amazing. I think it came out to around 30 per person after tax and tip. They are byob too. Besides parking, i like everything about this place more than Butcher 360.

It wasn't crowded at all when we came at 1pm. We had a party of 6 and the booth fit us comfortably. On a holiday, each person was $31.95. If you wanted to upgrade to the premium which had the waygu and more it was an additional $20 and that means each person would need to pay the same price so we opted out of the premium and it was a great choice since everything was delicious. So you get to select 4 meats at a time and then your sides. And of course the complimentary items like Kimchi, Radish, their own style of Mashed Potaotes. My favorites: - Pork belly (all different flavors) - for the plain pork belly dip it in the sesame sauce and salt so yum - Bulgogi - Shrimp with the heads Sides: - Japchae - Corn Cheese - make sure to heat it up on the grill before eating - don't make my mistake lol - I love steamed egg and they didn't have it so that's why they didn't get 5 stars from me - Of course white rice Dessert was the Hotteok - really good! Note: You cook your meats (not like Cast Iron which I prefer who cook it for you) and each time our 4 meats are done they would give us a new pan to grill. Be careful with the carbs... you easily can get full. Enjoy your meal ours was yummy and hit the spot.

Arriving at noon, we were seated right away. After ordering, we noticed the kitchen does get quite busy with a lot of take out orders. Always a good sign when this happens to signify good food! The jajang-myun is so tasty with bits of seafood and onions. Sauce has just the right amount of flavoring and the noodles with just the right amount of chewiness and bounce. Loved the beef intestine stew! Not overly spicy and warmed me up on a cold winter's day. The ox bone soup came with spices and salt so you could taylor to your liking. Last new item we tried was the tang-su-yuk, which was flavorful but was more breading than pork. It is deep fried with a side of sweet and sour sauce. I liked having the sauce on the side instead of already dipped so you could add as much or as little as you'd like. There are a few parking spots behind the building amd to the side but we've never had any issues with getting a spot. Cozy place to eat and highly recommend!

I've come here a few times over the years, and I have repeatedly had problems. I typically ask for the meat on the side, and there's about a 50/50 chance it comes on top. They also messed up my order several times, and there's a chance they refuse to replace it (even if the receipt item doesn't match with what they gave me). I do not blame the cashiers or workers for this because I've ordered with several of them and had the exact same issues. This is a management-level problem. Most recently, they charged me for something I didn't order and said they were unable to do a partial refund. I told them that I didn't order the item and didn't want it, and they told me that a refund wasn't possible, so they gave me the item and a bonus soda. I appreciate the attempt to make up for it, but it just isn't enough. Why am I forced to buy something I didn't want? It also didn't even taste good. I can understand making a mistake every once in a while, but this is excessive. I won't be coming back to eat here again, and I can't recommend this place to anyone.

We got the pork sticky rice shumai, pork in garlic sauce over rice, sautéed string beans and pepper corn chicken. Shumai was ok. The pork in garlic sauce had way too much sauce and was a tad sweet for our liking; it was drowning in sauce. The strings and pepper corn chicken were very good. Both had a slight touch of heat. I wish we ordered differently but overall the food was ok. Our server was very nice and attentive. We're debating coming back to try more of the menu but with so many Asian/Chinese restaurants to try in Edison, I think we'd try someplace else.

Upon entertaining on a weekend evening, there were a few tables with patrons but not too busy. The restaurant did seem a bit understaffed with only one person taking orders / bringing food out, making it difficult to flag down this one person to successfully take our order and ask for anything additional throughout the night. Gyudon: for the price, we were really surprised at how small of a portion this was. It was not only in a small bowl, but the meat was layered on top perfectly deceiving you to think that there was more than there actually was. The majority of this dish was rice, and with limited sauce at that. As displayed on the menu images it was to be served with a runny egg, but unfortunately we got a fully cooked one (disappointing, as we were looking for something to mix with the rice!) Sushi: We got a 3 rolls and they were just alright. They were pretty small in size, with less rice than I'm used to (which is something I do like - I would rather more fish than rice!) With us getting spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and spicy scallop - they all kind of tasted the same, so I wish the fish wasn't as heavily masked with spicy mayo. Ramen: I got the black garlic ramen, and it wasn't the best, but wasn't the worst. I've purchased fresh ramen packages in the supermarket before and it tasted just like that, so it made me disappointed knowing I could achieve the same at home. The soup itself was extremely rich and fatty, and the charsiu had no flavor whatsoever leaving much to be desired. The main reason I'm rating this so low is upon having my last bites of sushi, I could tell something was off. I don't recall which specifically I had but I made a statement that it was extremely fishy and off putting. Fast forward later that night, I was hunched over the toilet vomiting with stomach pain - and I can deduct that the sushi was the culprit. I might consider trying Ottoyee again due to the great deals they have listed on food delivery apps, but the sushi quality (quite literally) put a bad taste in my mouth.
