Chicken and biscuits and jambalaya rice balls

Sat at the bar before catching a movie and had a pretty good time! Cameron, the bartender was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The chicken and biscuits are one of the best things on the menu . The drinks are good although pricey.

The food was amazing! Our server Miguel was so so friendly. The service was attentive and the food came out fairly quickly. The lighting was nice and calm. Would definitely recommend!

I chose this for my birthday dinner because I had never been and felt like I needed to experience this cultural phenomenon! It didn't really disappoint although my expectations weren't that high. To start, the raspberry lemon drop drink was absolutely perfect! Not too sweet but the sugar rim was a nice touch. The crab dip was a great appetizer, but it wasn't that hot. The stuffed mushrooms are teeny tiny and just okay. The calamari was great and a good app to share. I didn't get the hype with the avocado egg roll. Hot avocado is just...a turn off for me lol. Of course, we were already full on the apps so we only had some of our entrees and definitely got boxes to take home. The best of the bunch was the Chicken Madeira. Super tender chicken, and loved the sides. My fettuccine with shrimp was basic but classic! Super rich as to be expected. The Steak Diane was also a hit. We ordered a side of spinach because it needed some green. The teriyaki salmon bowl was a bit dry, so we asked for extra sauce which helped but I wouldn't recommend that dish. Cheesecake was obviously delicious! The Godiva Chocolate one is a true chocolate lover's dream. They were out of pumpkin cheesecake sadly so we ordered the pumpkin pecan pie cheesecake which was decent. I signed up to be a cheesecake member beforehand so 1 slice of cheesecake was free for my birthday! Woohooo! Service was nice. Our waitress was sweet, but I hate when staff auctions off food. It just gives basic service and not exceptional but again, this is a mall restaurant. Good overall experience though!

First time visiting this spot in Bridgewater, NJ, and I was really impressed with how clean it was. We got seated right away--wasn't too busy, but steady traffic. Our waiter, Eadar, was great! Super friendly and professional. He brought us some bread while we waited, which was so good I almost got full before my meal. I ordered the Korean Fried Chicken--crispy chicken with spicy Korean BBQ sauce over rice with avocado, kimchi, mushrooms, cilantro, and sesame seeds. I'd rate it a 3/5. Not bad, but not quite what I expected. The flavor was kind of like sesame chicken, and the rice didn't really taste like jasmine rice. A week before, I had their Jamaican Black Pepper Shrimp, and that one was amazing--shrimp, rice, black beans, sweet plantains, and marinated pineapple. Definitely recommend that dish! Overall, this place has great variety and even brunch options. I'd go back again--and if you visit, ask for Eadar!

Offfff Cheesecake Factory did me dirty this time hubby and I went in for happy hour and got some appetizers. The nachos were TERRIBLE, it was all chips and there were barely any other ingredients. I really thought I was going to get some mind blowing nachos like there other dishes. To top it off, the guacamole was brown and had definitely been sitting out. The sliders and calamari were okay, the portion size definitely went down, and the meat in the sliders was really pink even though I asked for no pink. Overall, happy hour appetizers are not it and definitely won't make that mistake again.

First time there and we just wanted to enjoy a Strawberry Cheesecake and a coffee . Mission accomplished and it exceeded our expectations. The bar area was exceptionally busy for a Sunday afternoon, the ambiance very cool. Overall a 5 stars .

Buffalo Blasts

I had a nice dinner here during happy hour. The restaurant was calm during the time and not crowded. We ordered the buffalo blasts, corn tamales, korean-style cauliflower bites, brussels sprouts, and crab rangoon. The meal started off with the complimentary bread which I always enjoy - love a good bread and butter. The corn tamales were really good and took me by surprise. It blended perfectly with the various sauces and flavors on the plate. The corn tamales were moist and the green sauce carried out the good flavors and texture. The crispy brussels sprouts was a perfect match to eat along with the corn tamales. The flavors combined was delicious. The korean-style fried cauliflower was a pleasant surprise. The flavor was great, with a sweet and flavorful sauce. Best flavor from the menu I've tried so far. I would definitely recommend trying it! The buffalo blasts came out hot and crispy, with a large filling portion. Flavors were simple and good. I'd happily order all these dishes again. The only dish I wouldn't get again is the crab rangoon. It was okay, the flavor reminded me more of crab cakes and I would've liked for the wrapper to be crispier. As for seating, there were plenty of options available, including booths, high tables, and seating at the bar. You have to be seated in the bar area for the happy hour menu and the bar area was nicely lit and spaced out.

Went here for early dinner on a weekday. We saw a sign mentioning it was happy hour so we were excited. Food - we ordered 5 dishes - buffalo cauliflower, hot tamales, buffalo bites, brussel sprout and crab wontons, and the house lemonade and beer. All of the dishes (except the crab wontons) were tasty. Crab wontons seemed undercooked and not crunchy. Taste wasn't great either. Brussel sprout was burnt more than usual but still good. Before ordering the beer, we asked if it was included in the happy hour. We were told yes it was. We were charged full price. Lemonade was good. Other than that, waiters were friendly and accommodating. Service: When we walked in, the receptionist took us to a booth. One of the waiters came and gave us the menu. We noticed none of it had happy hour information so we asked one of the waiters about it and he mentioned it's only happy hour if you sit at the bar so we asked to change our table. I would have preferred if the person taking us to the seating area had asked us where we would like to sit or that there's happy hour going on if we sit at a specific location only. If we had not asked the waiter, we would have sat where we were taken and missed out on the happy hour as noone mentioned it or brought it up. Ambiance- it was pretty empty when we went. Many tables were open. It may be because we went at an odd time. The space is nice and good for dates as it has a little dim lighting, and feels formal. 3.5/5

My friend and I came here for lunch over the weekend. Our waitress was great as we had my friend's toddler with us. She was super attentive and checked up on us often. We got the ahi tuna salad and it was fresh. Unfortunately this time, we didn't get the cheesecake but we did get some delicious drinks!

Service is good. Pleasant atmosphere. Ample seating distance. Strollers are NOT allowed inside. High chair/booster available.

French salad to go- not AT ALL worth it

I should write two separate reviews. One for takeout and one for eat in. I have good experiences eating at the restaurant. Happy hour has some good deals. Meals are good portion size and good quality. Takeout is extremely hit or miss. The takeout salads are terrible - so small and lacking toppings. The only bright spot to-go are the Thai lettuce wraps which have been amazing and replicate the eat in experience. Today I tried to order a to-go salad again. Not smart of me. The portion size was not great but even worse is that the chicken they used is a replicate of the crappy premade "chicken"that Panera uses in their salads! When did this change??? Needless to say, I didn't eat any of the chicken. Disgusting.

This place is located in Bridgewater Commons. It is a typical Cheesecake. The seating was prompt and the service was very good. Servers were very friendly and accommodating. The seared tuna salad (see photo) was ok but for the price I would have expected more tuna. Good thing I got a side of grilled chicken otherwise it would have been insufficient protein. Everything else you see in the photos: 4 cheese pasta, Cobb salad, quesadilla, impossible burger were all decent. The Adams peanut butter cup cheesecake and cookie dough cheesecake were both very good. As you would expect.

Stopped in for lunch yesterday and it was an experience. Unfortunately, not a great one...I was meeting a friend who arrived before and sat herself in the bar area because no host was to be found, so when I arrived, I notified the host that we would like a table and she graciously got us one. The server, who was also the bartender, didn't make his way over for quite some time, and then there were big gaps between visits. Even more ironic, it was 2pm and the place was virtually empty, yet he kept disappearing. There were literally 2 other tables and one was paying. My friend ordered the meatloaf and I got a burger, but by time it actually came, it was lukewarm, at best. Again, odd considering nobody was in there. My friend did not like her meatloaf at all. Said it was kind of cold and flavorless. My burger and fries were good, albeit, lukewarm. The only saving grace was the cheesecake, which is always on point! Hoping this was just an off day and that next time will be better.

It's super crispy, not greasy at all, and the homemade honey mustard sauce is amazing. It's perfect on the sesame bun and honestly one of my favorite meals to grab during the week. My boyfriend always goes for the build-your-own bowls, which he loves because he can customize exactly what he wants every time. They're always really good and a great option if you're in the mood for something tailored to you. I also went for breakfast for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. I tried the Fruity Pebbles matcha, which was pretty good, though I think I would've liked it even more with 2% milk, which they didn't seem to have. I also had the So Extra sandwich and it was so good. The hash brown was still perfectly crispy inside the sandwich, the eggs were fried just right, I loved the touch of spinach, and whatever sauce was on it really tied everything together. I'd honestly come back just for that sandwich alone. Also it's super cute inside, perfect to bring a friend or date looking for a healthier option in downtown Somerville, NJ!

I wanted to try something from the lunch menu, after asking an employee, I was told that lunch starts at 11:30am. So I came back around that time to order. I've been seeing their Big Mack Smash on social media for some time now, and it looks delicious. So I decided to I order their single patty Big Mack Smash, with angus meat and American cheese, on a plant based white bun. I don't care for sesame seeds on buns, and there was no option for a regular burger bun (without sesame seeds), so I chose the non sesame seed vegan bun. I also ordered a side of fries with garlic aioli. The plant based white bun was a little dry and the burger patty was also dry and did not have much flavor. Maybe I should have done a double patty for the burger, since it is a smashed patty and a little too thin for my liking. I felt like I was eating a dry burger bun with mostly lettuce, an occasional pickle and the Mack sauce. I probably will not order the garlic aioli again, it had a sweeter and nutty flavor to it, and I prefer more of a savory aioli. I used to order their Blackened salmon with a side of greens and Spanish rice in their BBQ Ranch flavor style, from their old menu. I do miss that meal, it was so flavorful with the crispy onions to top everything off. But I understand that they made the change to better suit the business and cut back on waste. I probably would not order the big Mack burger again. But I will definitely be back to try something else from the new menu. I've been a customer for over 6 years, and have introduced some of my family members and friends to this restaurant, and we've enjoyed our meals here for that time. I love that there are many vegan and vegetarian options here. Although I am neither, it's a great place for those who have dietary restrictions/preferences. Hopefully I find my new go to menu item soon, but in the meantime I will be ordering and trying many of the other new menu items. This is definitely the place to come if you don't want a typical vegan meal. You'd be like a kid in a candy store, with the amount of options that are here. They also have many non vegan options. Turf, Surf and Earth serves EVERYONE and that is their biggest positive!
