Stopped in, this is relatively new store in Whippany, they have a number of specials for family-sized meals listed outside. While I was hoping they would have something for lunch special, it was mostly pastas listed on their menu with sauce. I grabbed a couple of slices, the pepperoni was a nice large sixth of the pie and solid, but the chicken and ranch with bacon made my tummy queasy... Probably far too heavy. Inside you have a couple rows of bench seats to the back, and they have a few regulars already that they greeted by name as they came in. Overall, another pizzeria that is okay but can't beat the Nonna's in Florham Park for quality and price. $7.55 for a special slice and pepperoni, was ok but have had better deals.

I wanted a quick slice on the go, and this place definitely did the job. There were three people working behind the counter, and I was greeted immediately upon entering the pizza establishment. When I walked in, I was expecting five or six different varieties of slices to choose from. There were about four times that many. Anything from plain to vegetable to chicken, broccoli, and tomato to fajita slice they have available for the taking. I opted to live a little dangerously, and went with the pineapple and ham slice. The slice had zero flop, and the crust was extremely crunchy. The pizza was good. The size of the slice was a decent size. It was called a gourmet slice and cost $4.15 which is about the going rate for this type of slice. Overall, I was in and out in less than five minutes. I would definitely come here again.

It took a little investigation trying to figure out where exactly this pizzeria is. This is a brand new shopping center on Rt 10 in Whippany. This restaurant has only been open for 4 months. Inside, the place is very nice. Plenty of seating and very clean. There was a good selection of slices at lunch. I chose a slice with sausage that was excellent. Very nice crust and just the right amount of thickness. I'm not sure if it was the owner working the counter, but both guys were very friendly. Stop in and give this new place a try. You can never have too many pizzerias in NJ!

    TRUTH!! Shut Up Fredo!! ;D

Crank UP The Crunch To Eleven!! I'm talking about THE Most Crispiest Crunchiest Pizza around over here at Whippany Pizzeria. This fairly new spot which has only been open for about seven months now has got some killer high efficiency ovens up in here. Add to that some amazingly delicious looking Italian inspired comfort dishes from a huge menu for dine-in, take out, or delivery app and You're looking at a Win Win Win situation!!    At first glance I had to try the Sicilian corner piece and I gotta say it was tremendously crunchy where it counts but was also fluffy, cheesy, and had just the right amount of flavorful sauce in every bite. Traditional slices here all have "Zero-Flop" to them and I'm also gonna make this bold claim here too: They make the Best Buffalo Chicken Slice in town and it ain't even close. With a ton of breaded Chicken Breast chunks on top of a super flavorful Buffalo and Ranch Sauce combination that Totally Kicks-Ass!! Now That You Know The Deal, Come And Get Your Crisp Crunch Pizza Munch On!!

Ordered delivery through the slice app - got delivered by somebody saying they worked for DoorDash. Led to an odd encounter. Sicilian was dry - overcooked - in the crust but very wet on the top. Cheese was sliding off and stuck to the lid of the box. Not the best. White Pizza was better. Meatball topping was very dry but still enjoyable. It had a thick crust with a lot of chew to it. Felt a bit like a reheated pizza and not fresh made for us. Both pizzas were cold when they got delivered, which may not be the pizzerias fault, but definitely Hirt the experience.

I enjoyed a delectable dinner last night that was wonderful from start to finish. The figtastic martini was addictive! It was the perfect combination of fig flavored vodka, pomegranate juice, elderflower liqueur and fresh lemon. For starters, I tried the spinach and artichoke dip that was topped with crispy bacon that wasn't greasy. Also, I tried garlic parmesan pretzel sticks with a really tasty cheese sauce. For my entree, I had a delicious burger that was cooked perfectly and was accompanied by fries that weren't greasy. The burger and fries was a sizable portion, but I still managed to make room for dessert. The brownie with ice cream that I had was fantastic, but I absolutely will order the house-made bread budding that my friend said was to die for! Our server, Erick, was attentive, knowledgeable and very pleasant. I will absolutely be back, particularly for that bread pudding!

My family and I stopped in tonight for a quick bite on the way home from work. They weren't very busy but it still took nearly 10 minutes for someone to take our order. We initially used the kiosk but it wouldn't let us use the free charburger coupons we received from the corporate office for our previous trip in which the food was horribly overcooked. The woman, who appeared to be the manager, told us someone would be with us before deciding to take the order herself because the cashier was trying (slowly) to get other orders together. She then proceeded to quibble with us over what items apply to the coupons we were trying to use despite my wife showing her the email with all the details. We wound up just getting a burger and a kid's meal because it wasn't worth the hassle and my wife lost her appetite fighting with someone over a free sandwich. While we waited, the manager proceeded to berate the cashier for moving too slow during their "busy time" (though we were the only ones in the building) and they proceeded to argue in front of everyone for a good 15 minutes. In his defense, he was trying his best. In her defense, he was moving way too slow. Regardless, that's not a conversation you have in front of customers and it was clear the drama distracted both of them from doing their job properly. My burger was somehow undercooked (a 180 from our last visit) and the fries tasted like the oil hadn't been changed in a while. The lettuce was brown and my daughter's chicken bites were mostly breading. It was a total disappointment but not nearly as bad as a manager/supervisor giving a man who seemed to be disabled an impromptu performance review and threatening to hire a replacement for everyone to see. I wound up feeling horrible for the cashier as the argument extended past us eating our food. My wife sent a complaint over to corporate but I can't envision a scenario where we'd return to this location. I'd never campaign for someone to lose their job, especially in these tough economic times, but the manager either needs to not be in that position or given a lesson on professionalism. I'm all for dinner and a show but this was ridiculous.

We were there on a Saturday afternoon at lunch and it was a full house. How ever hard I tried my coffee cup never made it to empty without being refilled. The food was excellent as well. The fries were terrific as well. The Whippany Diner was in our regular rotation for many years and then we stopped going altogether. I have no idea why but we will certainly return again soon. A top notch diner for sure. Give it a go!

From east to west there was: * Ritz: only the longtime residents went there out of habit * Golden Touch: the "Roach" for what you might find there, but our go-to as cheap teenagers * Whippany: tiny and food was decent * Brookside: the best atmosphere and food, our choice if we were willing to drive a bit Well, two of the above have changed hands - the RItz still has the name but isn't the same diner, and Golden Touch is now just East Hanover Diner. Brookside is gone for reasons unknown. Leaving Whippany Diner as the last place I've known since... I guess I can call it my childhood at this point, going on 30 years. And no, not much has changed. Stuck in the middle of a jughandle, you're still going to be tested trying to park without scratching your car or someone else's. Try their lot, or park across the jughandle ramp? And then cross that on foot? Huh. Once you make it inside, it feels as cramped as the parking lot. We were led to a table up against a mirror that's next to a door, so my right eye saw people coming and going while my left eye saw... me. Short story long: Ambiance is not doing any favors here. Service? We were attended to well, food came out on time. Only odd occurrence was my friend's water was refilled and mine wasn't, but ours were at the exact same level? I'll let that slide. Finally, the food. My friend's chicken fingers looked rather weak and burnt. My crock of French onion soup was fine; though rather light on onion, the cheese came through. The spinach and feta omelet was actually a winner - fluffy, full of chunks of feta. But the side of hash browns? I would more call them pressed frozen potato slices. The verdict: Took me way too many years to write this review. Some things never change. Maybe they should, but if they keep packing their parking lot and outliving their competitors, I guess they don't have to.
