The optimal time to order from Wonder is when they have a good coupon code. Otherwise I don't think it's worth it (Here's my code for $15 off your first 2 orders: KAREN7808). The portions from the various "restaurants" are too small. The Streetbird by Marcus Samuelsson Spicy Chicken Sandwich is tasty but it's noticeably smaller than a Popeye's chicken sandwich. They put the spicy seasoning on the onion rings too so that's a plus. The Tejas Barbecue Pork Ribs were tasty and the only thing I ordered that was sized appropriately. The Queso was weirdly sweet to the point it was off putting. The Limesalt Steak Burrito was terrible. The bits of steak were hard and chewy and it had zero seasoning even with the fajita vegetables added. The photo of the onion rings from The Mainstay by Marc Murphy looked huge so I hoped it was a double portion. Nope. It was the same measly 6 onion rings as before. But at least the horseradish remoulade was good. So it's a mixed bag. The concept only works if the quality from all the pseudo restaurants are equal so you can mix and match all in one order. I've completely fallen in love with this concept! Being able to order a side from one restaurant, a salad from another, and an entree from another is a game changer! I love being able to mix and match my favorites! Detroit Brick Pizza Co. - Brick Chicken Tenders were great, everything you want in a simple order of tenders! Hawaiian Pizza - I thought it was nicely elevated with the capicola instead of your typical deli ham. Spicy Pepperoni Pizza - super crispy pepperoni cups added just the right spicy-savory flavor. Overall for the pizzas they had a fluffy crust with crisp edges, however they both had a slightly strange underlying flavor that I wasn't the most fond of (perhaps it's the cheese blend they use?) and both had barely any sauce, I had to supplement with my own sauce at home to get through all that fluffy bread crust. Tejas Barbeque - trust me on this, you NEED to get the Carrot Soufflé it is quite possibly the best thing I've ever eaten! I'm ordering it with every meal from wonder! Burger Baby - The Classic Burger was fine, nothing new or revolutionary, pretty average, but that's not a bad thing. It feels like a dependable burger- simple and you know what you are getting each time. Mr.D's Fried Chicken - Mr.D's Chicken Sandwich was great, again, nothing out of this world, but the sauce did have an unexpected smokey flavor to it - not my taste, but if you enjoy smoke flavoring you might enjoy it. After writing my first review on the Philly cheesesteak. I've ordered a few times at the service and tried different items. Overall, the service is quick it's not a long wait time before the order is ready, which is nice. But, there are definitely hiccups with the food. I also think that because there are celebrity chefs tied to this service, you're expecting the food to be better since you would think it has their stamp of approval. My most recent order that I was excited to try after going to the opening of the UES location was the spicy deluxe sandwich by street bird. If it was at least the same quality/taste as chick fil a I would have been happy. But, it was completely dry, overdone, definitely not juicy and not spicy. Was it microwaved? I had to check to see if there were spices on the filet because I thought I got the wrong one. When you look at a chick fil a sandwich you can see it's juicy and it's fairly substantial. This was like rubber, I assume it's the quality and the cooking method. The lettuce was also wilted. And after eating it I'm still hungry. Cupcakes should be room temperature, when you bite into it shouldn't be rock hard frosting. I was so excited for the magnolia cupcakes but it tasted like it was just pulled out of the fridge. The next morning the other cupcake that sat outside was so much better. I was really disappointed that it was provided like this because I have no willpower to wait a few hours to eat it. It took me a minute to get used to Wonder, but I absolutely love it now. I'm just not a big fan of delivery, but the choices here are endless. The food is always excellent! I ordered the lemon pepper wings this time because the sweet barbecue wings were sold out. The wings from Wing Trip are a great size! The lemon pepper was a little salty for me, but I know my kids will love them! I also order wings from Tejas as their wings are smoked and it is a whole wing with the tip. Sauce here is really delicious! The customer service at Wonder is usually on point as well. I have had to contact them in the past for various reasons and they're always quick to respond. Even this time I accidentally ordered 3 cookies, it was probably my fault so I will not reach out to them this time. The cookies are absolutely delicious! I have actually gone into Wonder, but there's nowhere that I would like to sit and eat. It's awesome if you want food delivered and you have many people with many different tastes. Wonder is a new restaurant concept and I'm so happy they finally opened in the city! You can order from several types of restaurants using their app and the food is ready in about 10 minutes. There are some tables to dine in, but they package everything in to-go containers. There is a wide variety of cuisines available, so we ordered from a few to try different items. I would definitely order several of the items again. My favorites: Tacos camaron baja - Three large shrimp tacos filled with seasoned shrimp, cabbage, guacamole, pico de gallo, and spiced sauce. Super flavorful and filling! They had the perfect hint of spice and the shrimp were cooked well. Brisket - The portion was huge! The meat was so tender and smoky. The accompanying sauce complemented it well. I'm glad there's a good BBQ option in Manhattan now. Old Bay fries - These were so addictive! I couldn't stop eating them even though I was already full. The fried were perfectly crispy and lightly coating in Old Bay seasoning. A container of tartar sauce was included for dipping. I'll definitely be returning to try the other cuisines, especially since I know I won't have to wait long to get my order. read more

Dropping a star from my previous review based on my most recent experience. I've been eyeing the half rack of ribs from Tejas BBQ for a while and pulled the trigger tonight. Got a side of creamed spinach as well from the Bobby Flay Steak restaurant as well. The ribs were cooked extremely well, but the issue lied in the cut of the ribs and presentation. 50% of the ribs were pure fat. Also, they failed to cut the ribs up so I brought home a slab of meat that was difficult to cut into with my silverware. The creamed spinach was very subpar. Not finely chopped like you'd expect; more of a sautéed spinach with some bread crumbs and cheese. I guess Wonder is good for bar food items like wings, fries and burgers. read more

Glorified Microwave Food with Bad Service (UWS) I ordered steak and the estimate I was given was 22 - 30 minutes. 50 minutes later I was still waiting! When I spoke with the manager, he was unapologetic and rude. He said wait some more or he'll refund the money. There was no consideration for the time I wasted waiting for the food and he did not give me a confirmation that he canceled the charge, only a receipt of the original order. Wonder Food Hall was a disaster. Four of us joined for dinner in order to try out this new food hall concept in our UWS neighborhood. As promised we were able to try entrees from a variety of cuisines. Alright, here goes. The half rack of BBQribs was undercooked, really inedible. The sauce was a generic tasting puree though we were uncertain which sauce was the one ordered since we had 4 plastic cups, none of which seemed to be any that we requested for 4 entrees. I didn't eat the babaganouch since I don't like eggplant but the other 3 diners said it was the best of the bunch. The chicken wings from the Wings joint were perhaps the worst thing that arrived. They were by no definition 'chicken wings.' The wings were actually chicken nuggets, boneless (huh?), and breaded. Really terrible. That was my choice for an entree which all 4 of us found very dry and tasteless with that terrible breaded texture. Don't even think of ordering. The remaining two entrees and sides were unmemorable (a day later, I've forgotten what they were) only that we finished nothing. I can't imagine how this concept was birthed, possibly a Shark Tank misadventure. As I noted, the one (positive? Not really) surprise was that it arrived in the promised half hour. I'll paraphrase the old Woody Allen line: the food is terrible but it's on time. When I visited the actual facility, wow was it unappetizing. Cheap antiseptic furniture lit by cold ugly lighting. I came here a couple times and thought the concept was cool and has been clutch. The I got a burger from here. It wasn't the best but it did the job. I was satisfied with my meal. There is also a ton of options that isn't just american food. The service here is nice. The people at the counter are friendly and helpful. The concept can be a little confusing but they do a good job explaining it. The space itself is a little small but it's never full so I've been able to sit and eat my food every time. Giving this place 1 star because I noticed several fake reviews that they clearly paid for. I was actually kind of excited this place was opening as I thought it was an interesting concept that would offer a lot of variety all in one location. Sadly this establishment is the definition of a fraud. It is actually a ghost kitchen which I assume mainly exists for delivery or takeout. There is nothing wrong with this, but the food is so low quality, and does a worse job matching the actual food with their pictures than McDonald's. Every item is heavily processed, and much much lower quality than the places they represent. I had the cheesesteak, which was essentially steak-umm's in lieu of real beef. The brisket they have is also quite funny. The picture online looks like gourmet smoked bbq, but it is clearly taken from a bag an heated up.
