He worked tirelessly with the insurance company and got it delivered in a remarkable time. He even sent to a previous customer and arranged a show and test drive of his own unit. That man told me I was wasting my trip I would buy it after I saw it. How true this was his second unit he has one leg and after 10 years he got nervous and got his second one sold the first still in good shape. This is my 4th and probably last light years ahead of all the others. I had a issue with a controller that was due to My movement restrictions and Jack promptly sent me a different controller to get me going and said try it and see if it solves the problem if so let me know and I'll work with you. A truly remarkable unit good ground clearance and power if this was the first unit I would not possibly have needed any other units well planned for so many special needs and restrictions. I can't believe the cart the quality and most of all Jack Palmer and his family for the way they started grew and keep perfecting a great product. 5 Star rating is not enough as I said this was my fourth time around but by far the best. Thank you so much keep up the great work and product Terry Lotz

Prior to finding Access, we were segregated to travelling with Dori and her wheelchair in our conversion van OR leaving Dori behind if we needed to transport livestock in the truck and trailer. Speedy Bar changed all that and allowed us to travel the country for alpaca shows! Speedy-Bar worked perfectly for our Ford F250 4WD and fits perfectly on the passenger door hinge. The Multi-Lift arrived engineered and configured precisely to fit the angles needed to lift Dori safety from chair to truck seat. I was concerned for Dori's safety lifting to the height of the 4WD vehicle and intimidated by the sling straps, but the team provided excellent training on sling/lift configuration. She was secure from the start, and the sling is well designed to wrap around her trunk and under her legs. The general purpose sling is padded well enough to be comfortable for her to sit in for all-day cross-country travel. Having just returned from a two-week, cross-country road trip (~5000 miles), we extensively used the Multi-Lift all day, every day across a range of temperatures and conditions (17F to 97F, snow, rain, etc) with no change in performance of the lift and battery. Tech support has also been amazing, with Tom's team being accessible for any questions or support via email, phone, or text. They kept us updated weekly as to estimated manufacturing and delivery timelines and consistently overachieved. Beyond the logistics, we end with the emotional benefit of this engineering marvel. Prior to finding Access, Dori was resigned to staying at home or close to home with only local 'needed' travel (i.e. doctor's appointments). Adding the truck as an option for her travel opened a world of new friends and new experiences traveling the country for alpaca shows that was not even an option to consider! Peace of mind. Safety. Amazing engineering. Ease of use. Tremendous customer support. Get one! It will open your world!

Only after the delivery people left did I scrutinize the receipt and discover I had been charged $200 in sales tax. I called a different local medical supply place to make sure I hadn't been dreaming when thinking there would no tax on this device. They assured me there would not be. So I had to get back to Penn-York to have them refund the sales tax. "Gee, I can't imagine how you ended up being charged sales tax," my sales person eventually told me. I would guess either incompetence, or a hope that I would not question the sales tax, thinking I had misheard this, and everyone there could go out to dinner with that $200. He blamed it all on a computer glitch. I'd almost be willing to pay $200 just for the courtesy of not being yelled at when I called to point out that mistake. "I bill is wrong. I got charged more than I was supposed to..." I began. "I told you! If you paid with a credit card it would be an additional 3.5%!" my salesman yelled before I could explain the situation. "No, I was charged tax. I'm almost certain you told me that there would not be any tax because it was medical device." "There is no way you were charged tax!" "Well, I'm looking at my receipt, and there is a box labeled 'sales tax' and that box has $200 in it.'" Then there was some run around where first I'd get a refund check, then I was told they couldn't do that--the money would be refunded back to my credit card--and then it went back to sending me a check. At one point in the conversation I said something like, "Well, before you erroneously added $200 to my bill for tax..." and the lady I was talking to said, "How dare you say we did that erroneously! It was a simple error!" I had to say, "Lady, the word 'erroneously' means 'in error'." Gee, get an SAT review book and start studying some vocabulary words. Take my advice. Deal with UHS Home-care if you need to make a purchase.

I am still amazed that I got a 2007 Honda Odyssey VMI adapted van, with only 16,000 miles on it, purchased, added remote start and trucked to Texas all for under under $30,000. I am certain that virtually every other dealership would've been asking at least $32,000. just for the van. I was fortunate enough to have somebody local available to inspect it, and salesman Don Dohse even put it up on the lift so he could check the underside, I made my purchase with no qualms. While the price is great, getting such superb customer service, from deposit, through paperwork to getting it transported, really made the entire experience wonderful and stress-free!

The last one that I bought Kelly didn't seem to know a lot about it! while she is show me how to use it she was having a hard time raising & lowering the tiller. She said because it is new it will b easier over time to operate using the tiller. Then I told her it should come with a bottle holder. Kelly said that it doesn't come with one. I even showed her the 2 screws that were sticking out of the tiller were the bottle holder would go. I also asked her about ordering a basket 4 the front. She said there is no baskets 4 this scooter. #one I finally after calling the manufacturer convinced her that it was supposed to come with the holder. I had called Kelly serval times to find out why it was taking so long to get. She told me don't tell her how to do her job. Finally her sales rep Dave Morrell called me & said which I had told Kelly that some how my order got canceled & he would reorder it. #2 I wanted someone to come out & fix the tiller because after 3 weeks of using it it was still very hard to raise & lower it. Kelly said that she would have to charge me $226 to have someone come out. I fixed it myself & it is now very easy to rise & lower the tiller. #3 I ordered a basket from Senior.com that has the manufacture logo on it & I had no problem getting it. I'm very disappointed that Kelly never called me back to omit that I was right & she was wrong on thes 3 things!!

Not only was customer service unhelpful in providing me alternative brands/styles my insurance would cover that are comparable to the original ones I was prescribed, they refused to order black in the brand my insurance would pay for-Ames Walker. I'm tall but lean and so finding a brand that fits me, and has fabric I can tolerate is a nightmare. My interventional radiologist picked the perfect brand and model. It's a shame Jobst discontinued the line that actually fit me and felt tolerable. But I digress, I explained to them, Guthrie Med Supply Depot, that I'm autistic and have sensory issues with fabric and I wear very thin leggings as well due to getting over heated easily and needing a very thin and smooth fabric. I will literally pick at myself all day if I am too hot or the fabric is too rough. That said, only black will hide under my clothing. Not white. They started to ONLY carry white, beige, red and blue! Of course not black. Even the rep agreed that it made 0 sense since black does hide well under sheer leggings which are also black and they agreed that black is more universally flattering for most people's wardrobe. Sadly management refused to order black even after my doctor called on my behalf explaining I am autistic, tall and need black with a soft fit fabric due to sensory challenges to prevent recurrence of DVTs, as well as to walk. I had to spend weeks finding an alternative DME store that carried black thigh highs in my area or that would ship to me and be covered by my insurance. Needless to say, management at this location was the issue. They weren't just unhelpful, they lacked empathy and had no actual logical reason for why they just stopped carrying black thigh highs all together in the one and only brand covered by poor people insurance that actually fits tall people. These things aren't cheap and many people, myself included, have to risk a DVT and be in pain if they can't afford to pay out of pocket and order online instead. Cayuga Medical Supply had 0 issues accommodating me and helping me. So go there instead! Oh, and everyone there also agreed that black is the most popular color. So they too did not understand why Guthrie irrationally stopped carrying black.
