We had such a wonderful experience at Wondervu Cafe! The service was genuinely friendly and impressively fast -- our server made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The food was absolutely delicious -- everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Whether you're stopping by for a quick bite or a relaxing meal, this place is a hidden gem worth the trip. Highly recommend! We'll definitely be back soon. Thank you to the whole team for making our visit so enjoyable!

Cool little place. Despite the name, there is not much of a view. I mean, you are in the mountains which is nice, but if you are expecting a panoramic view, you will not have one here. The food was flavorful, but it was cold. I had a simple smothered steak burrito. The chili tasted great, and the steak was cooked properly and had good flavor. The only complaint is temperature. I mean, it was really cold. The staff were friendly, however I did have to wait a while for water. The small complimentary chips and salsa was nice. I am not against a second shot, I may have caught them a bit early. Other than the cold food, I enjoyed it.

Hidden gem. The owner greeted us and checked on us throughout our lunch. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection. I appreciate the smaller menu so there's more attention to the details of what's available (quality over quantity). Beef enchiladas are not on the menu but they happily made them upon request. The beans were seasoned perfectly and the steak cooked to order - and everything was presented beautifully. Friendly and accommodating staff. Off the beaten path option that's not touristy. Some reviewers have complained about the lack of views but they are not advertising that they offer one - It's not WonderVIEW but WonderVU (pronounced "voo" per the owner). Will definitely return!

The au jus for the Pizzabirria pizza

Where do we start!?!!! We went for pizza. We had never been, so we ordered the Messi and the Pizzabirria!!!!! Oh my gosh, these pizzas were both amazing. The au Jus with the Pizzabirria was out of this world. It was not spicy at all but had so much flavor. The chimmichurri sauce on the Messi was delicious, the crust was perfect! The Wondervu cafe was such a cute place. The staff was helpful as we were asking for suggestions, very attentive. We will definitely be coming back!

$$ Visiting my brother in Golden CO, and he brought us to this small diner up in Coal Creek Canyon. Wondervu Cafe had indoor and outdoor seating and a very nice staff. The food was served hot and, as you can see from the photo, there was plenty of it. Parking was not a problem 11am, but we were not there during the breakfast rush. Open and airy, it was clean with solid wood tables and chairs. It was a really nice place to hang out for a meal... celebrating our family outing with a mimosa

AMAZING. OMG. Seriously. Are you a Mexican food lover? Do you like lovely slow cooked meats…read more(carnitas, barbacoa)? This place is OFF THE CHARTS excellent!! We are in Denver for business - and a friend recommend this spot. On our first visit (YES, we are here for only a couple days, but have been twice, so far...and plan one more visit before we leave)...we ordered the Al Pastor Tacos and the smothered Carnitas burrito. I am a HUGE carnitas fan...and this burrito was sublime. It's about the size of two traditional sized enchiladas (not too big)...had an amazing tomatillo sauce...with a wonderful pickled cabbagey thing on top. Seriously, every bit was moist and delicious. Baby had the Al Pastor tacos - which he pronounced "the best I've ever had." So, a couple days later we took my brother (local to Denver). This time, we took the waiter's recommendation (he is also the owner)...and I had the Barbacoa Quesadilla (which comes with Barbacoa "juice" and a nice little hot salsa) - SO great!; Baby had the "pork belly tacos" which, in his description, "Sublime! From a reluctant Mexican food person...those tacos were blessed." (He is Canadian and also not religious...so, this is unheard of...) We are in town for a couple more days...and plan to go back before we leave. We also purchased some of their salsas! Yum...all different, but lovely. No preservatives...just beautiful fresh ingredients. This place is a MUST GO! (Also, good and easy parking for our big truck) Nice outdoor seating with umbrellas! Super service. Our server clearly wants you to enjoy your experience. If I could give this restaurant a 10 star, I would.

Taco Tuesday was the night we visited. So many great varieties of tacos- chicken with mole…read more Quesadilla with cheese and potatoes. Steak. Mushroom- Cauliflower.' Apparently they change the menu weekly. Can't wait to return -- but I sure won't order the rice again. That was the only disappointment. Service was as quick and attentive. Nice outside patio for a lovely evening
