    Cheese Quesadilla with carnitas

We found this place soon after we arrived late one night in Golden and were lucky to see they were still open with lots of customers hanging out on the outdoor patio. I got a carnitas quesadilla and I am not kidding you, it might have been the best quesadilla I've ever had. The carnitas added a ton of flavor! The others ordered enchiladas and loved them. The margaritas were cheap and good, wish I could have partaken! The staff were really friendly and the food came out fast. Glad we made it in the nick of time!

We were staying at Table Mountain Inn for our anniversary and before attending a concert at The Buffalo Rose we had dinner here. I had made reservations in advance as it was a Saturday night, and glad I did as it was very busy. Our server Matt became aware of the fact that it was our anniversary and I got a complimentary glass of champagne and my hubby a glass of Coors light. I mean, you're in Golden, Coors is king. Don't know if that's customary or if Matt made that happen. He's an excellent server and all around good dude. We started with the 3 dip trio. The salsa, guacamole and queso were great. I went with the chicken enchiladas and my husband had the Chile relleno plate. Everything was great. We also ate breakfast there the following morning. It too was very good. Overall fantastic experience. Thank you!

We found a place open for brunch on Christmas morning for 9 people. This place has a super cool vibe. I love the southwestern style decor. I'm guessing since it was Christmas they added a 20% gratuity automatically, unsure if they always do this. It was very expensive altogether, but it was a nice experience. The food was ok, not special but ok. The burrito was gigantic. The mimosa was tiny. Our server was attentive. But for the price, it was definitely not worth it. There's nothing bad to say about it, I've just been to better places for less. Although this was Christmas, so I'm glad we came and tried it out and spent time with the family.

My sides: street corn and ranch beans.

We stayed at this hotel and dined here while we were in Golden, CO. It was just mediocre food. I did not care for their signature ranch beans or their version of street corn. The enchiladas were good but basic. My husband's carne asada was good and tender. He wasn't a fan of their beans or little corn fritters on his plate. I would recommend going for the Chips/salsa/queso with adult beverages but overall wasn't a fan of Colorado's style of Mexican food. Being from San Antonio where we have some of the best Mexican food in the nation, maybe I set the bar too high on expectations. We were craving Mexican food after being away for a week and this just didn't hit the spot.

Came in during a snowy morning and appreciated the fact their interior is massive and accommodated our wedding party of 10 people. There is a very expansive menu serving all types of classics with Colorado based local produce and house made jalapeño biscuits. I had the chicken and biscuits and it was a very generous portion for the price, glad they were able to give me a side of their delicious gravy that had a great spice to it. I didn't have any brunch cocktails with my meal but the rest of the table enjoyed theres. Great place for large parties, they take reservations, and overall accommodating for all meals of the day.

Well his Christmas morning my reservation was good I was sat on time my prime rib came pretty quickly but I had to send it back because the sides were just warm and I like mine hot the horseradish sauce looks homemade it was delicious and so was the au jus I also had a Mark Margarita which I think they just make from well it's not from scratch I don't believe as far as the service goes my waitress was not very pleasant especially for a Christmas morning and not very attentive I sat for a while with an empty glass of water and I suppose it's cuz I was the only one out in the patio and it was probably an extra effort for her to come out and check on me I also had to ask for some regs to wipe up water that was on the floor at my feet because the initial waiter filled my dog's bowl from a faucet right next to my table and he did not turn it all the way off so I had to ask him for some rags and I wiped it up myself and the rags sat there the entire time I was eating so I'm not that impressed with the service I just asked the waitress if they were asked to volunteer to work on Christmas and she said with a huge smile no they were just scheduled and I bet any money that that is a really huge reason why I feel she really wasn't happy to be here today on Christmas morning... just saying

We just made it a few minutes before the end of happy hour and was able to give the Pork Green Chili Cheese Fries and the Fried Pickles a try. Amazing prices for their happy hour too! We had burgers, the salmon risotto and the steak sandwich. Everything was so tasty. If I had to absolutely nitpick, the fried pickle is the chip style that I love but it was way over seasoned. When the Latina in the group tells you it's too salty, that's telling you something. I tried the pickle on the burger and it was already brined salty, then if you bread that and fry it and then season it... it was unbelievably salty.... Overall the salmon was well cooked, the burgers juicy and the steak sandwich super tender. The bar decor was super pretty and the service amazing.... I would definitely be back and highly recommend to check out their happy hour!

They are also dog-friendly which is a fun feature, but we went on a busy day and there were a bunch of dogs inside and outside, which I have to wonder if so many animals are indoors does this become a food safety issue? I will say our server was very nice, but the food was sub par to say the least. The items we ordered were severely under seasoned. They were quite bland and lacked any depth of flavor. The items on the menu had average prices to them, so there was no sticker shock on that end but, when did restaraunts start charging extra for sides of ranch?! It's not enough to cover your restaraunt costs with the $25 burger I just ordered? This restaraunt is located in a touristy town, so I'm sure they get all the traffic they need, but as a local I will not be back!

The location is fantastic--it's situated right next to Bear Creek, providing a cool, relaxing atmosphere that really captures the mountain vibe. As for the food, it's excellent across the board. The breakfast scrambles are a highlight, topped with fresh sauces and served with perfectly crispy hash brown medallions. Their smothered burritos are another must-try, loaded with melted cheese and served with fresh sides. Once inside there is a first floor that has a few different food options as well as the pour your own beer options as well. In order to partake in the beer option, you need to get a card that you can tap to the machine and you pay per the ounce. They have other drinks beside beer on tap as well such as different types of cocktails. They have a great food selection. That includes many different varieties of food throughout the venue as well. The top floor also has a few additional beer options as well as food options. I decided to go with a barbecue option which I got a brisket sandwich which was really good as well as a side of fries and some of the barbecue sauce. I also got a beer on top from one of the local breweries. It was a chilly day out, but I still wanted to sit on the patio on the top deck, so we sat by a fireplace. They have a ton of different fireplaces, all throughout the top deck as well as the lower deck as well so sitting outside was an option for the time of the year that I was there which was March. Maybe in the dead of the winter they don't have this option but just keep that in mind. Anyways, I thought the view of the course brewery factory right across the way was really cool to see as well. The food was really good and I love getting beer by the ounce because if you don't like the beer, you can just get a different one and you don't have to make a whole glass pour every time you get one. I definitely would recommend the golden mill. It definitely seems like a place that a lot of locals hang out and there is a food or beverage option for everyone so even picky eaters would love this place. If you are in Golden, you have to visit!

They were kind of just fatty pieces of barbecue meat. Still delicious and the sauces were great, but not really what I was hoping for. We ordered cheese curds, which were actually cubes and that is the first time I've ever seen shaped curds. They were pretty good, as was the sausage and mac & cheese, though the cheese sauce was a little thin. My mom had the focaccia grilled cheese, which had awesome flavors in it, but the focaccia itself was super thick. If we could decrease the bread by like half I think this would be an awesome choice. I think the main reason I would go to the Eddy is to hang out on their patio, especially when they have live music. It's a good view of golden in the foothills and its probably a great sunset spot. They also have a lot of good nonalcoholic options which we really appreciated - including nonalcoholic wine, which you don't see very often .
