Stopped here on a Saturday afternoon while exploring Golden. It was decently busy, but we just had a short wait since we wanted to sit outside. The patio is somewhat small, but we really enjoyed the nice weather. We split a house margarita on the rocks that we both enjoyed. I ordered the Birria tacos which weren't the best I've ever had, but still yummy. My favorite was the rice and beans. My SO ordered the chile cheese relleno which he really liked. Service was good and prompt. We would come back here again.

I went to a reception here -- this review is about their buffet. First of all the presentation was beautiful and the food was pretty darn good. There was fresh fruit and melon along with crudites and several dressings to start. As we moved down the line, the Rattlesnake Bites - cheese stuffed jalapenos, wrapped in bacon was exceptional. The sauteed mushrooms were wonderful. The chicken sate was a bit dried out, however, the house made picante and Verde sauce helped. Two different, tasty empanadas completed the meal. There was lots of food and plenty of servers to assist. Comfortable seating in a large private dining room. Overall a very nice place to be comfortable entertained.

Overall this was a great place! Our waitress was so kind drinks were good. I would definitely go back and loved it for a spot in downtown Golden. The Asadero cheese was so tasty with a little fire show to go with it :)

    Cheese Quesadilla with carnitas

We found this place soon after we arrived late one night in Golden and were lucky to see they were still open with lots of customers hanging out on the outdoor patio. I got a carnitas quesadilla and I am not kidding you, it might have been the best quesadilla I've ever had. The carnitas added a ton of flavor! The others ordered enchiladas and loved them. The margaritas were cheap and good, wish I could have partaken! The staff were really friendly and the food came out fast. Glad we made it in the nick of time!

We were staying at Table Mountain Inn for our anniversary and before attending a concert at The Buffalo Rose we had dinner here. I had made reservations in advance as it was a Saturday night, and glad I did as it was very busy. Our server Matt became aware of the fact that it was our anniversary and I got a complimentary glass of champagne and my hubby a glass of Coors light. I mean, you're in Golden, Coors is king. Don't know if that's customary or if Matt made that happen. He's an excellent server and all around good dude. We started with the 3 dip trio. The salsa, guacamole and queso were great. I went with the chicken enchiladas and my husband had the Chile relleno plate. Everything was great. We also ate breakfast there the following morning. It too was very good. Overall fantastic experience. Thank you!

We found a place open for brunch on Christmas morning for 9 people. This place has a super cool vibe. I love the southwestern style decor. I'm guessing since it was Christmas they added a 20% gratuity automatically, unsure if they always do this. It was very expensive altogether, but it was a nice experience. The food was ok, not special but ok. The burrito was gigantic. The mimosa was tiny. Our server was attentive. But for the price, it was definitely not worth it. There's nothing bad to say about it, I've just been to better places for less. Although this was Christmas, so I'm glad we came and tried it out and spent time with the family.

My sides: street corn and ranch beans.

The first time I visited, I got the Aussie Scramble, and it was really yummy, especially if you're in the mood for breakfast. It comes with scrambled eggs, bacon, avocado, and feta served over hash browns with toast. Definitely a satisfying breakfast option. This time, I stopped in for lunch and was in the mood for a sandwich, so I went with the turkey and provolone. It was really tasty and came with a side salad, which was pretty much what you'd expect. Overall, a very good sandwich. But my fiancée got the pesto grilled cheese, and she was nice enough to let me try it. I genuinely think this might be the best grilled cheese I've ever had and I'm not exaggerating. The combination of pesto, sun-dried tomato, melted cheese, and sourdough is absolutely top tier. I would 100% get this on my next visit. We also split a chocolate chip cookie for the table, which was a nice little sweet treat to finish the meal. I've had the coffee on both visits as well, and it definitely hits the spot. Between the food, drinks, pastries, and atmosphere, Cafe 13 is an easy recommendation. Definitely check out this location if you're in Golden!

And some coffee places that were supposed to be open weren't. We then found Cafe 13, and we were so glad we did. It has a very inviting, cozy atmosphere. And all of the food piled up behind the glass looked amazing. We were only getting coffee, but I knew we had to try something to eat. We ordered some sort of berry scone. It was amazing. The coffee was hot and delicious, too. And everyone was very friendly that we encountered as well. We sat at a long communal table in the front room (there are other rooms to explore/sit as well). We never made it back to Cafe 13 on our visit, but if we're in the area again, it'll definitely be the first spot we hit when looking for coffee and a light breakfast.

Expect to wait 30-60 minutes for a breakfast/brunch table, especially if you want one of the coveted outdoor spots. The seating is worth it though, the view of the forest and creek from your table is so endearing and serene. The food and drinks are delicious. The meals are all ornately plated, and well thought out, and made with great ingredients. The venue is semi-open air so there are a lot of flies, but every table has an anti-fly windmill/propeller. I will definitely go back, but now I know parking is super limited and annoying. All of the businesses in town are hyper aware of how limited this very popular restaurant's parking is, and aggressively inform you they are "Not Restaurant Parking". Plan to park curbside in the dirt on the outskirts of town far from any other business, and make the short walk to the restaurant.

They were pretty good, as was the sausage and mac & cheese, though the cheese sauce was a little thin. My mom had the focaccia grilled cheese, which had awesome flavors in it, but the focaccia itself was super thick. If we could decrease the bread by like half I think this would be an awesome choice. I think the main reason I would go to the Eddy is to hang out on their patio, especially when they have live music. It's a good view of golden in the foothills and its probably a great sunset spot. They also have a lot of good nonalcoholic options which we really appreciated - including nonalcoholic wine, which you don't see very often .
