    Double mini scoop
    Katrien V.

The flavors are unique so they're fun to try - this was our third visit here but we were very disappointed by what we were served this time around, so it will likely be our last. As someone who used to work in an ice cream shop, I have very high standards for what is served to the customer - the scoop sizes we received were noticeably inconsistent when compared to past visits & in my opinion, if a scoop doesn't at least appear to fill the cup, either smaller cups are needed or scoopers should be trained to not have their scoops be so compact. One of the scoops in the double mini we ordered was literally 1/3 the size of the other, cost more than the regular scoop but had less ice cream. The regular scoop was compressed into such a tight, dense ball, it was rolling around my cup like a marble on the drive home. We couldn't help but laugh when we looked in our cups because the portions we had just paid for were comical. For prices that are set at a premium, I want to feel like I'm getting my money's worth and don't like walking out of an establishment feeling ripped off.

Great place for ice cream with lots of vegan and non-vegan flavors. I was thrilled I could do a mini split scoop for only $7 - I had the mocha mud pie and coconut horchata. Both were delicious. Service was friendly and the location was clean and bright. Definitely worth stopping by.

I was so excited to try this place when I saw they had lavender salted caramel ice cream. We came in on a less busy day. The worker let us sample some ice cream. I did end up getting the lavender salted caramel and the matcha mochi double mini scoop, but I think both flavors were pretty mid. The matcha mochi was unique. I've never had mochi in ice cream before. However, the matcha flavor was weak and the texture of it was on the icey side. The lavender salted caramel ice cream flavor didn't stand out. You can taste the lavender, but it tasted more artificial and wasn't fragrant. It also overshadowed the salted caramel, and seemed like an imbalance flavor. Overall, I wouldn't come back. I'm from out of town and definitely have had better ice cream in California

Super cute shop. Delicious ice cream. Tons of GF & vegan options if you have dietary restrictions. The French toast and brownie v blondie are my favorites! Reasonably priced for the quality and how much you get. Staff is always friendly!

Fifty Licks is my favorite ice cream shop in Portland, and possibly, the whole Northwest, because they have delicious and remarkably creamy dairy and non-dairy flavors. As someone who is allergic to milk protein, I have to be really careful when I eat ice cream. Over the years, it's been challenging to find vegan ice cream that is as good as regular dairy-based ice cream. But Fifty Licks has done it! I have been coming here for the past four years or so, and each time, their vegan flavors are spot on and delightfully creamy and smooth. So far, my favorite vegan flavors have been Chocolate Coconut Caramel, Guava Swirl, and Mango Sticky Rice. My hubs' favorite flavors include Bananas Foster (v), Sweet Soy Caramel, and Matcha Mochi. The shop is super cute in pastel colors and the staff are friendly. We especially liked the nice dude with curly hair and glasses who was funny and made us laugh as we were on our way to a funeral. Thanks, man. Check out Fifty Licks next time you're hankering for some ice cream!

Loved fifty licks! This was our third stop on the Portland Ice Cream Bike Tour during our stay in Oregon. We're all dairy free/vegan and when our first two stops didn't have creamy vegan/df options we were a little bummed (wouldn't have ruined the experience) so Fifty Licks turned it around. I got a coconut horchata scoop and all the flavors were great. They also have a creamy guava , yum! The staff were kind, helpful and had great energy. The line was out the door and they were still showing up! Space is super quaint and cute with indoor seating and some benches (not many) outside. Bathrooms available for customers, street parking. We're excited to visit again and have more.

What a cute place! We stopped by right before closing and people were still enjoying their desserts. Very hospitable service - the employee offered to let us try some of the flavors, and I loved the variety of flavor options! I've been to this location one other time and wanted to bring my family this time - they loved it! The mango sticky rice and matcha mochi flavors are my absolute faves!!! Give this place a try if you haven't already!

Came in around 8pm. Ice cream is always good. Got the chocolate coconut caramel and that was delicious. Service was a bit meh today. I've been here several times but I think there was a new cashier and our group felt a little ignored by him. I'm big on focusing on product and not so much service since I'm not looking for someone to be that overtly nice to us. But this was worth mentioning as it made our group feel a bit uncomfortable and unwelcomed. I'll come back for sure, but this experience was not the norm. I'll chalk it up to a busy night and perhaps new cashier, but I'm keeping this review so I can talk about a redemption arc. Really lean into a story here.

I was craving ice cream and with a quick search landed here. I am dairy and gluten free. They have a handful of options to meet my needs. I tried three flavors and landed on mango sticky rice and chocolate coconut. Wow. The flavors were bold and delicious. There are options to get a cup or cone. Anyone who enjoys ice cream will find options to satisfy their cravings. Overall, the prices and portions were good. I will be back in the future.

A verity of different flavors. Serve was good and the ambiance was nice and roomie. A lot of Gluten Free options. Street parking only. There is only 2 table family style. Ice Cream was very creamy. They make their own waffle cones. Bathroom for paid customers

We came in here on a Friday evening at 10 PM, I sampled almost all the flavors, but the staff was so so kind about it. They had shared their flavors and tips on which flavors worked well together. Me and my girlfriends ended up getting the same flavor because it was fire. Highly recommend the coconut lemon saffron!!! This place has very similar vibes to soul and straw with their unique flavor, combos and fragrant flavors. Mini scoop was the perfect amount for a little sweet treat :) I wish we had this in California, specifically LA lol!!

I came here to get mango sticky rice ice cream. It did not taste like mango sticky rice. The waffle cone was not good, under Cook, not crispy. I was disappointed. Street parking, service was good.

Yum!! I had no idea I bought a pint of non dairy ice cream! I came in and bought a mini scoop of the mocha mud pie. It was so good. After dinner at 82 acres, I came back and got a pint! Don't miss this place!!

The marionberry was sweet, tart, and refreshing. The birthday cake had bits of yellow cake and confetti folded into the ice cream. The Belgian chocolate was deep and decadent. The bowl was filled to the top and our waffle cone was served to the side because the scoops would not have fit. My parents had the hibiscus coconut sorbet and chocolate sorbet. Both are dairy free. My parents were indifferent to both flavors. The hibiscus flavor was too strong whereas the coconut was too subtle. The chocolate sorbet has an intense cocoa flavor and they generally prefer a sweeter version.
