Salty Caramel frozen yogurt with Butter Toffee Crumble topping
    Alea A.

Stumbled upon this frozen yogurt shop after grabbing dinner down the street. I got the salty caramel flavor with the butter toffee crumble topping. The texture was thick and creamy which made me completely forget I was eating froyo and not ice cream. It was quite sweet and rich. The toffee bits added a nice layer of yummy crunch to the melt-in-your-mouth frozen yogurt consistency. I'd probably opt for a different flavor or entirely different dessert place since it was ~really~ sweet but it was a tasty treat to try. There was no line and the service was quick on a Monday night. The space had ample seating, especially for a quickly enjoyed dessert that you can easily take to go. Parking might be a bit hard as Eb & Bean is located on a busy street with lots of restaurants and shops but it's not impossible. No qualms at all, I'm just not sure if I see myself frequenting this shop due to dessert preference and sweetness level. The frozen yogurt was not mind-blowingly amazing nor was it bad. My experience was very average.

Line for ice cream and it makes me happy!!

This Eb and Bean is just the OG for me. It's the one I remember always hitting up for delicious soft serve. And the staff is more friendly (and consistently so,) than the other locations. I'm always happy to stop in when I'm nearby to grab my vegan soft serve that I know will satisfy!!

We were out and about yesterday and got a craving for something sweet and tasty. Ice cream sounded good, but gluten-free and vegan options can be hard to find. Well, this is the place! I'm guessing it gets crowded at times, but last night we walked right up to the counter with no wait - - which in a way isn't good because there is no time to figure out your order :) Service was super friendly and helpful and offered samples - - um, yes, please! Usually, my choices are extremely limited, but not here. I decided on Mocha Macadamia frozen yogurt in a cup with peanut butter magic shell, cookie dough and dark chocolate chips. OMG!! So hit the spot. It's street parking around there so if you can't find a spot right out front, look on a side street.

Amaretto sour in a waffle cone

Never had amaretto sour yogurt before and it blew my mind. Cute shop, interesting flavors and the flakiest waffle cones I've ever had. The flat of the waffle cone was beyond thoughtful as it allows you to lay it down without it rolling away. Great spot that I'd try again and again so that I can taste everything.

Solid froyo spot with plenty of topping options. We ended up stopping by Eb & Bean after another visit in the area and seeing the line out the door and people enjoying their cups right outside. This time around we were fortunate to come at an off time so we didn't have any lines to wait in. Definitely come by to get a mix of their VANILLA BEAN and VALRHONA CHOCOLATE flavors topped with almond toffee crumble, brownie cookie, and cacao nibs. Yum!! Froyo has great texture and is nice and creamy. Great to share between two people or devour all by yourself. I also noticed they had sandwiches and pints to go which looked so tasty! They also have a punch card so be sure to pick one up since you'll want to come more than once.

Found this place on Yelp and decided to come check it out. Tried the passionfruit caramel and it was really refreshing but a little too sweet. It was more of like a sorbet in my opinion. The staff was quiet, but allowed us to have 2 samples each of any flavor. They did have cute little decorations on their wall and certain items you could purchase like bars, gummy bears, shirts and even small pints of ice cream.

The local ice cream parlor has a line out the door so we came over here and there was NO LINE and great fro yo!! I will never understand why people will wait an hour in line like sheep when there are other wonderful options! There were eight amazing flavors to choose from and so many delicious toppings and sauces that made my mouth water. I opted for the vanilla and valhorva chocolate flavors with bourbon cold brew sauce and my daughter chose the dark chocolate with a peanut butter shell sauce. The price was reasonable and every bite was yum We will return! And the popular spot may never see us!

"i scream, you scream, we all scream for--" EB & BEAN. organic local fro yo! my fave place to go when my taste buds are wanting something frozen. i love that they remember us dairy-free, gluten-free folks with almond and coconut milk flavor options and a smorgasbord of toppings (fruity bears! sprinkles! honey! streusel! cacao nibs! blueberries in the summer!) OMG the magic shells are vegan and are to run a marathon for. in fact, the hazelnut magic shell has my heart.

I'm a huge fan of date shakes and date shake ice cream. Lots of places have great versions: McConnell's, Follow Your Heart, etc. Yikes for Ed & Bean. I got a sickly sweet, icy date paste. Pretty much inedible. Tossed the pint. Service was nice, though.

Love this place and all it's nondairy options (I'm lactose intolerant). The nondairy options have a great flavor thst I'm not heavily missing that dairy component. Only thing is the ice cream was melting fast and by the time we were out the door, the fudge all settled to the bottle and the too began to slump. The brown sugar sesame flavor is amazing.

Great service, cute place, and unique flavors! Love that they have a variety of dairy free options (oat, coconut, almond) and gluten free toppings

Such a cute shop in a great location. It is clean and bright with a fun ice cream themed wall. They let you try as many flavors as you'd like. We came about an hour before closing time and they there sold out of a few flavors. We will come earlier next time. I had the strawberry and crème in a waffle cone. Their waffle cone I nice and crunchy. It tasted like a stroopwafel! There are many toppings to choose from. The chocolate pearls are like chocolate covered rice crispies. There is ample seating. If you come with a big group, there is a big table that can seat 12. Additional seating along the perimeter of the room. I wish I could give them 5 stars, but they weren't very friendly. When it was our turn, the lady barely smiled and I could hardly hear her. Maybe it had been a long day. Kind of a downer when we were super excited for dessert.

If I was a billionaire, I'd invest in this shop to open a second location by me in Maine. Small batch and homemade, these ice creams are luscious and delicious. This trip already I have visited once IRL and later I ordered a shake from them for delivery to my hotel, which was great! No drop in quality there and they drew a cute little note. The marionberry was sweet, tart, and refreshing. The birthday cake had bits of yellow cake and confetti folded into the ice cream. The Belgian chocolate was deep and decadent. The bowl was filled to the top and our waffle cone was served to the side because the scoops would not have fit. My parents had the hibiscus coconut sorbet and chocolate sorbet. Both are dairy free. My parents were indifferent to both flavors. The hibiscus flavor was too strong whereas the coconut was too subtle. The chocolate sorbet has an intense cocoa flavor and they generally prefer a sweeter version.

The decor is quirky - upbeat, bright lime green, but a little chaotic and worn down. Overall I think soft serve yogurt is a fun activity, and makes for a unique custom dessert every time, but the biz could benefit from some changes and a decor refresh.
