Cool spot for some good brews. No food, but lots of great spots around to get something to go.

Always a great selection at Wondrous Brewing and the staff are nice and welcoming. I tried the Flightwave, Lurkside, and Lunar Ritual IPAs, all wonderful and their descriptions fit perfectly. I was looking at the to-go cans later and the server let me know that they had canned the Wondrous IPA earlier that day and I didn't even ask. That was so nice of him, ended up getting freshly canned Wondrous IPA to-go woohoo! The selection often rotates so you will likely find something new every visit!

Small selection but the beer's great! Service was also great. Lots of seating options. No food service but outside food is welcome (we ordered from Los moles around the corner). Check them out!

My beer and journal! Flightwave was sooo yummy!

What a great find! I was looking for a spot to kill about an hour and I found exactly what I needed! The folks at Wondrous were chill and fun to chat with on a Thursday afternoon. Great indoor space and outdoor was great with several space heaters! Flightwave as soooo good that I ended up taking a 4 pack home! I will be back when in Emeryville again!

4++ Brewery that isn't a large space, but a sleek and stylistic space. The vibe here was pretty chill and the beertender was very friendly. I was with two beer appreciative friends. We came here to check out the spot on our way to a dinner reservation in Berkeley on a Saturday night. The place wasn't incredibly busy/ crowded, but I really liked the calm and cool ambiance. We wanted to check out this place because we have had some of their beers at some beer shares in Southern Cali (friends brought some of their cans to our shares). Liked their beers, so thought it would be fun to check out the place. Pretty wide and great selection pouring at the time of our visit. I tend to like the darker beers so I got a dark lager. Also a light lager taster to balance it out. The beers were very good. Overall, a great brewery to visit with great beers/selection and a sleek space to hang with your people. Not sure how busy it gets or on which days/ time. We were there around 7pm on a Saturday and the area didn't feel that busy. Was able to park right out front. I think it may be in the industrial area because we were trapped behind a train crossing for 5-10min about 2 blocks away. I like the spot a lot and would definitely come back. There's some outdoor and in door seating. Outdoors doesn't seem to have heat lamps.

I was waiting for my table at Los Moles for Sunday lunch so decided to come in for a beer. This is a cute place with plenty of outdoor seating. They also have really nice and sleek interior design. The menu isn't too big but the options they had looked decent. I came around 1pm so it wasn't too busy and the beertender was very helpful and friendly. There's craft beer, bottled beer, seltzers, and more. You have multiple size options to order your drinks. Plus, prices are pretty fair. If there was a more extensive menu, I wouldn't mind becoming a regular here!

Nice chill spot. Seating inside and out. Parking on the street but plenty in the surrounding blocks. Food can be ordered from Rotten City Pizza. Friendly staff and quick, knowledgeable service. Good to check out with friends.

***3.5 Stars*** Wondrous brewing is a mighty wondrous time! You see what I did there?! But on a more serious note, I dig this place. Some friends and I stopped here during the week after work, and it was the perfect spot to chill out and catch up. Their space is tucked away on a semi-busy street in Emeryville. We kind of flocked to their patio and understandably so. They've got the tables with umbrella shades as well as barrels with chairs. I know the patio is poppin' on a warm day! It was a bit cooler when we came, so we started out on the patio and then ended up inside. Unfortunately, they don't have any outside heaters but they do have a nice inside space as well. As far as the beer goes, it's good but I wasn't blown away. They don't have the most variety when compared to other breweries nearby, but they can still hold their own. You can purchase tasters if you aren't sure what to get. Their Wondrous Hell lager was my favorite out of the four that I tried. They also don't have food but you can bring your own. They have menus from Rotten City Pizza that you can order from and they'll deliver it right to you. There was one beertender holding down the fort while we were there and he was really cool. It wasn't too busy when we first arrived, but more people started coming in later on in the evening. One thing to note is that they are strict when it comes to closing time. Once it was 9, the beertender was literally yelling while telling everyone to get out. I felt like a different approach would have been better, but maybe homeboy had some where to be. Maybe people tend to linger a little too long here. Who knows, but he surely kicked us out when the clock struck 9:00. Despite this, we still had a nice time here. I'd come back again with friends to taste more of their beers.

We enjoyed our first visit to Wondrous Brewing a few days ago where we relaxed in the bright, colorful, and relaxing taproom while sipping on delicious beers. This was one of the more cozy/relaxing breweries I've been to and could have spent hours here. We split tasters and tried almost every beer on tap. I particularly liked the west coast pilsner and their porter. Would absolutely recommend and we can't wait to stop in again next time we're in the area.

This has been on my list to try & it exceeded my expectations! The decor inside was modern and simple. Bar tender was really nice and let us sample a few beers before we ordered. He poured the beer so we'll too! All the beer we tried was fantastic! Really flavorful and smooth. They only had 9 beers on tap, one IPA. Beer options are limited but quality.

I've been coming here for awhile, ever since one fine afternoon I was in town on business and was feeling a need for craft beer. I was once the world's predominant authority on craft beer in my own mind, but years of chugging ales have decimated my tolerance for it. Anywho, the first thing you'll notice about this spot is it's out there, pretty far off from downtown Alameda tucked away in an old military pier alongside some other more enterprising establishments. Lots of parking so there's that. Inside, they are definitely doing that thang, massive brewery stacks dominate the background but the space is massive so it supports an almost endless amount of tables, benches, and spots to hide out. Arcade machines, outdoor activities (even a kids sandbox) really add the "Adventureland" elements that make it more than just a standard brew joint. If you've had their beer, it's definitely on the expensive side, but they keep a healthy variety that I would say is all reliably refined and delicious. Its no 2000 era Bells or modern day Founders, but I particularly like their love hazy and the Mexican style lagers. My friends who like sours say they are also quite good. Although this place is really not directly affiliated with the business it's definitely a reason I go so I can't leave it out -- they have food trucks outside that handle most of the food there and the one they have there always has one of the best burgers I've ever had in the bay, hands down. It's a blackened blueberry and blue cheese burger and even though I don't like blue cheese, this unholy alliance is faaaaaaan-friggin-tastic. Must try. Service is casual, they do flights which is a great way to try things. Not sure about any happy hours, would love to see them get a mug/growler thing going here for discounts, they might have something already I'm just not aware of but nothing is obvious when I've gone. It's a great spot to kick it with some friends on a nice day or late afternoon, having a few beers and relaxing. California doesn't really do the beer garden thing like we do in the Midwest, you'll find spots like this all over Michigan so it's nice to see something of the same type here finally. I believe dogs are allowed too ala Texas vibes, but not 100% on that so I'd check ahead of time. Personally, I cannot stand seeing dogs at restaurants and bars so even if they do allow it, those aren't your kids, can we start reporting places that allow dogs without signage? If I brought a raccoon in on a leash would you be fine with that? It's a sanitation issue. Anyways, I digress, if you like beer, you like fun, and you like damn fine burgers, this is the best spot on the other side of the pond. 'nuff said.

My bestie and I shared the brussels sprouts and wings and both were really good. My aunt got the fish tacos and loved them. Solid food that hits the spot. We also tried the Ossuary Porter and it was great, really smooth and easy to drink. Good selection overall! The kind of spot where you show up for one drink and end up staying way longer than you planned. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area and probably dragging my aunt along again.
