    Roasted duck hand pull noodles
    Ana S.

I used to come here about 15 years ago when I worked in the area, and I'm so glad to see they're still around. The place is a bit divey, but don't let that fool you--the hand-pulled noodles are so good. My absolute favorite is the roasted duck. Definitely worth coming back for.

Low key, no frills noodle shop in Bay Ridge. Everything's in Chinese, but there is an English menu if you ask for it. Prices are cheap and portions are good! The dumplings were 5.50 for 10, an incredible deal, and they were delicious and freshly steamed. The smashed cucumber dish was also good and flavored well, although I wish it was marinated longer to really soak in the flavor. The noodle soups were unfortunately served in plastic disposable bowls, with the flavors lacking a little. The fishball soup was good overall, but should be noted there is meat inside the fishballs. The lamb soup fell short and should probably be avoided. It lacked flavor and just felt very basic. Overall, it was a cheap good spot with lots of locals dining in

Oxtail noodle soup is so good here. Gives lots of meat and is flavorful and chili oil is on point. Shouldve asked for bak choy tho these reg spinach is not very fitting with my bowl of noodless.

Oh my days, this is my new favorite spot to get noodles. When I came to the restaurant it was packed, that's how you know it's good. It's a small shop, so there is a very limited amount of seating but very cozy. I came here with my mom and we ordered 2 hand pulled noodle soups, I got the duck and my mom got the beef, they came almost immediately!! It was so good, piping hot in a take out container?? How cool is that, you can just ask for the lid, the bag and dip outta there. Everything there is cheap and delicious, you pay first and don't even have to tip⁉ 10/10 would eat again

Small place with hand pulled noodle soups and stir fry noodles. Locals filled the seats wall menu in Chinese only but takeout menu in English. Try the noodle soup with the hot oil and preserved muster greens for contrasting flavours. Loved the lamb noodle soup, ox tail noodle soup, all beef noodle soup (their most popular dish).

I got the beef hand pulled noodle soup, beef chow noodle, seafood chow noodle, and pig intestine flat knife noodle soup. Big portions of noodles here and they are good! Have a slight bouncy, chewy texture to them and the orders are pretty big! Cash only!!!! I used to always get the beef hand pulled noodle soup and that always hits the spot with its light yet rich broth along with plentiful noodles and thinly sliced rice along with some bok choy. The soup dishes also come with a small portion of pickled vegetables that add even more flavor to the soup dish so I recommend to try adding it in and see if you like it. This time I tried the pig intestine flat noodle dish and the noodles are thick so that got me full quick and they also gave me a good amount of pig intestines! You can also call ahead and order to come pick so super convenient!

Roaming around 8th Avenue and wanted a snack. Dumplings on 8th Ave? Sure! But I only wanted from Wong Wong! We love their leek pork dumplings so decided to get their cabbage pork dumplings. They only have 2 styles dumplings both being boiled. They taste just as juicy and flavorful but we liked the leek pork more. Still.. memorable dumplings.....

Here for a Friday night date food pick up Super affordable noodle and they are delicious. It's best you speak some Chinese but pointing works just as well. The place is not pick up only from 10 am to 7pm. So sad we have to settle for that. They used to have 5 or more employees here but now just 2 guys owners. No line so come help this spot out.

Wong Wong Noodle Shop OVERALL: 7.3/10 It used to be better, got a little worse now maybe because of all the customers, but this is one of the most famous noodle shops in Chinatown 8th avenue. FOOD: 7.3/10 Everything there is almost the same! Used to be better, but is still good now. The dumplings are must haves... I'd recommend the beef tendon or any beef related noodle soups. Maybe bring a spoon yourself cuz they got the tiny spoons... You not getting any soup with it. SERVICE: not a service place. CLEANLINESS: 6.7/10 Man this is street food. ATMOSPHERE: 10/10 Busy workers vibe, in and out. Eat your noodles 1 2 3 . Vanish. #noodles #food #review #yelp #chinese #nofilter

Perfect place for a nice, flavorful, hot, and cheap noodle soup. VH and I came here on a cold Saturday afternoon in October, lured by the steady stream of customers: this place sounded good. They serve two kinds of noodles: hand-pulled or peel (which are kind of flat and thin). They have quite a large selection of soups, about 20 per kind of noodle. We had the ox tail with hand-pulled noodles ($5), and the pig intestine with the peel noodle ($4.5). They were both really good, and of generous size. Definitely Wong Wong Noodle Shop was a nice and pleasant discovery. They have a very limited drink selection, so to speak, and they don't serve tea. The bathroom is not scary...

This is a no frill hand pulled noodle shop. You go to the counter and put in your order & pay. You grab a seat and the food comes out usually in minutes. There are condiments on some of the tables you can use. After you finish eating, someone will usually come pick it up. I typically order the beef hand pull noodle soup. If you want the chewier type of noodles where they pull off bits of the noodle, you'll want to order from the "peel noodle" side of the menu. The interesting thing is that I don't think there is an expectation to tip here.

Best "Hand Pulled" Noodle Shop in Brooklyn, in fact I don't know any other "Hand Pulled" Noodle Shop in Brooklyn. I Love coming to this gem on 8th Ave, located in Brooklyn's "China Town". This establishment is very small, nothing fancy, just a few seats and freshly made-to-order hand pulled noodles. The menu is pretty extensive but most menu option consists of Noodles with something, either stir fried, sautéed or in soups, which Is good because I Love noodles prepared any which way, especially noodles that are freshly made to order... by hand! I am a weirdo, I don't even order off the menu anymore, I just order any type of combination that I can create in my sick little brain, I order Noodles with Beef Stew & Beef Tendon, with a Fried egg on top, their menu already consists of crazy menu options like Pigs intestine, Fish Balls, Pigs feet, along with other regular menu options such as chicken, beef, pork, etc, but I try to order multiple things at once, creating one unique dish that my taste buds usually thank me for after. Wong Wong's also has freshly Made Dumplings at 10 for $3, it's a steal! I always order more than I could eat at Wong Wong's, since it's so inexpensive, you and up to 3 friends can easily eat well, order drinks, and include a tip, all for under $20. I recommend Wong Wong's for anyone looking for some freshly made Hand Pulled noodles... sautéed or in soups. Yummy!

Ordered stir fry noodle with eggs. The noodles were so hard. Look like uncooked and raw.

Very solid Chinese food spot. We picked up food to go and the restaurant looked very clean and…read morespacious though no one was eating in. The food was very fairly priced and the portions were huge. We got the pork soup dumplings, pork fried rice, szechuan chicken (which came with white rice), and pad see ew (which though not listed comes with pork, chicken, and shrimp). Everything was solid, but our favorite was the fried rice which had a ton of flavor. I liked the veggies that were in the chicken dish but there were just way too many of them compared to the chicken and I wasn't crazy about the sauce. The pad see ew wasn't made the traditional way I've had it with soy sauce and oyster sauce. It had some sort of orange sauce that tasted closer to a sweet and sour. It wasn't bad it was just not what I was hoping for. The soup dumplings were solid, no complaints there. And the fried rice was great, lots of flavor. Overall, I liked this place especially for the price but I'd probably order different things if I went back.

I had a taste for Chinese food like good old school. Chinese food and I happen to look on one of…read morethe delivery apps and located this place. I found parking down the block and walked over to the restaurant. It seems like more of a delivery spot because there was no one inside sitting at any of the 5 tables. It's a fairly good size space, very simply decorated, mixed with a cool wall resembling a curio cabinet of treasures. I chose a spot in the middle and went to the restroom which was clean and simple. I noticed there were a lot of takeout orders, from delivery services to local folks picking up their regular dinner. I looked over the menu and decided on salt and pepper wings and an order of shrimp. Fried Rice came out first and it was delicious. I even tasted a hint of salted egg yolk mixed into the egg mixture friefried up with the rice that signature crispiness with the little saltiness.... fantastic. The salt and pepper wings were different than the ones i'm accustomed to though the flavor was amazing. It didn't have the fried garlic, peppers, chilis, and onions that i'm accustomed to being in the dish. They were still flavorful, juicy and crisp and I could tell they cooked them fresh. That was much appreciated. I ended up taking half of my food home because I was stuffed.Thank you Msm Ellen and the Crown Garden crew for a tasty solo dinner.
