R7. Tomato Soup Beef Slices Rice Noodles R7.

We had the thai style golden soup w sliced beef and tomato soup w sliced beef. Fresh ingredients and one bathroom with friendly service and really hot soup with the bowl on a rotating stand so u dont burn yourself. I like their default ingredients: enoki mushroom, tofu skin, quail egg, lettuce, and corn, and tofu puff.

Not as big as the competitor in terms of space, but definitely holding down its own presence with their food quality and service. The attentive staff made sure we were never thirsty, A+ all the way in that aspect! Loved almost everything we ordered. Can't wait to return to inhale the rest of the menu!

We came here for dinner and there was no wait for 5 people on a weekday. We ordered various meal sets - I ordered a B set - a beef brisket sauce mixed noodle, crispy coconut lava ball and a kumquat drink for $20. I thought this was a pretty good deal! I got mild spiciness for the beef brisket noodle and thought that was good enough for me (I can't handle spicy). My husband got no spicy and for me that felt very bland, though he liked it. The beef brisket was tender and flavorful. The coconut lava balls were crispy on the outside and had dripping coconut sago inside. Since we had so many combo meals from B's to C's, I was also able to try out the wings, the rice cake and sausage - I liked the sausage the best. For the drinks, my favorite was the passion fruit sparkling juice. We also ordered the braised assorted meats where my favorite was the pig intestines and the dumpling in spicy oil which was also good- not very spicy. The dumplings have shrimp it in - it's not on the menu but thought you should know. I've been here previously and had the beef brisket soup noodle and it was also flavorful so no disappointments there either but must say I prefer the sauce mixed noodle more!

Perfect for the winter season. My bf and I came here and honestly every slurp was so perfect and I finished the whole bowl. Service was up to par as the food came in at a reasonable time. The ambiance can get lively after 6/7pm with locals and students but I highly recommend this spot!

One of the best restaurants on 86th street! We came for lunch and there was a decent amount of diners shortly after they opened at 11am but we got a table right away. One thing that immediately stood out was the friendly and attentive service. We were greeted upon entering and leaving, tea was constantly refilled and plates were cleared from the table very quickly. The dining environment was also very pleasant and the AC was on high blast, which is absolutely necessary when dining at a restaurant that serves boiling hot noodle soup in the summer. We ordered: Tomato soup rice noodle with beef brisket- Loved the flavorful soup base. Brisket was a bit tough. Would probably opt for the beef slices instead next time. Supreme fish maw chicken soup rice noodles- A more mellow and herbal soup flavor than the tomato. Chicken was moist and tender! It has a ton of invigorating ingredients; perfect for sick days or when you're in desperate need of a boost in energy levels. Assorted meats sauce mixed rice noodles- Loved all 3 braised meats that came with this dish. The sesame peanut sauce noodles were YUM! Brown sugar rice cake- Excellent dessert. Perfectly chewy texture and not too sweet. Prices were very good considering the amount of food that we (over)ordered. Another plus is that they offer a loyalty card as well. This, along with the excellent service and dining environment means I will be a repeat customer!

Cucumber salad w/ scallion sauce ($7). 5/5 Tomato soup rice noodles w/ fish slices ($13). 5/5 Nothing beats a hot, flavorful bowl of noodle soup on a cold winter day! So many ingredients and so satisfying! And I had leftovers to bring back home. Adding this to my list of go-to spots around the neighborhood!

On a cold winter day in NYC, one of the best meals that's hardy and comforting for me is a steaming bowl of noodles. My friends each ordered those while I ordered the scallion oil based dry noodles but it hit the spot nonetheless! When my friends and I entered, (I guess relatively early for a Sunday afternoon), we were seated immediately and given hot teas. The service was quick and our food made it to our tables one by one. Overall, we were able to sit and eat while catching up with one another as new year music played in the background. The only caveat to dry noodles was that my beef brisket felt a bit chewy. If you happen to like ten seconds yunnan noodles, this place should be a hit with you as well! Highly recommend :)

Ordered the following for delivery: - Brown Sugar Rice Cake ($8.05): 6 pieces of rice cake and was so good and chewy when it's warm! Reminds me of the rice cakes for chinese new year. - Sauce Mixed Noodles w. Minced Pork ($14.95) - Szechuan Spicy Sauce: Mild for the spice, has a bit of a kick and not overpowering. Big portion sizes and they do not skimp out on the minced pork! Would like to order again and try other items on the menu.

Ten Second Noodles has a serious competitor, because the noodle soup options at Ji Bei Chuan are TASTY and exciting! My dad & I came for a quick Sunday lunch, and it was still pretty crowded at 1:30pm. I ordered the Tom Yum Seafood noodle soup ($16) and he ordered the Fish & Tofu noodle soup ($14). I was a bit put off by the prices here since it's a good $3-4 more than Ten Second Noodle, but the portions and toppings both are generous and of good quality. The Tom Yum soup had all the tom yum notes that I usually like, and the spice/sourness was perfectly balanced. It's not super spicy and it's definitely tolerable. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of toppings - I got about 2 mussels, 4 shrimp pieces, and 4 pieces of fish fillet on top of all the other veggies and whatnot. Interior is a bit smaller but definitely still fits a good amount. Best for groups of 2-4. Cash & card are both accepted. They also have a loyalty card here for order 10 times, get 1 free!

I've been here several times and love it each time! The interior is clean, well lit and the service is sooo polite and quick. Can't recommend this enough. The food is also super delicious, I've tried a few dishes and tend to go back to the tomato soup with beef slices. Such a great spot and there are several locations too.

The staff are pretty attentive and super friendly so if you're feeling indecisive, definitely ask them questions about the menu. The tables are a little too close to each other, but still not as bad as the usual ramen spots, so it's okay. Decent amount of seating. I've tried the Ji Bei Chuan in Chinatown which I was thought was just alright, but so far, this location is definitely better and I'll be returning on another rainy day. Overall, the portions are pretty big, especially the noodles itself, so you'll leave very satisfied. If you've had crossing bridge noodles before, the ingredients are pretty much the same, but it comes out as one pot. Assorted Meats Sauce Mixed Riced Noodle: didn't get a picture of this one, but I liked the peanutty sauce and the noodles are so slurpable. The meats are good, but there was too much of the pork intestines, which we didn't finish. Ji's Fish Maw Soup Rice Noodle (Without Chicken): they only give two pieces of the fish maw if you're wondering :D I actually really enjoyed the broth, it was comforting but with enough taste/flavor and wasn't bland. It's closest to a chicken broth taste, but much much better. I prefer my spicy soups usually, but I definitely wouldn't mind ordering this one for myself either. Cucumber Salad with Scallion Sauce: we were curious about the scallion sauce lol. You can easily make this yourself at home - I was expecting a garlicky cucumber with this scallion sauce, but the cucumbers were just plain. Fried Fish Skin: warning, very salty, but so crispy and yummy. Not sure I'd order again, but it's definitely fresher than what you'd get in a package sold at the supermarkets. Mala Spicy Rice Noodles with Beef Slices: considering there were three peppers on the menu for this dish, it actually wasn't very spicy. That was like mild to medium spicy for me at most. Generous with the noodles, generous with the fatty beef as well. Broth wasn't too salty and tasted good.

stopped by with my mom for a quick meal at this noodle soup on 86th St. In summary, relatively newish and clean shop, tasty noodles options and decent appetizer selection. Moreover, the hot tea (which is free) was so rich and soothing. Went with the Beef Brisket noodles (R4) for $13. Decent portion size, a very hot hot stone bowl, flavorful soup, tender beef pieces and lots of goodies in the bowl. My mom went with 2 appetizers including the fried tofu (small bite size pieces with sauce) and the spicy chicken wings (they were OK and likely air fried) Friendly staff, mostly on the younger side and they speak Cantonese.

We walked into a simple, fast casual setup that focuses more on the food than the atmosphere, with a clean, functional space designed for quick meals and takeout rather than lingering. The ordering counter is straightforward, and the staff moves efficiently, keeping the flow moving even during busy lunch periods. The hand pulled noodles are the biggest highlight, with thick, chewy strands that have a satisfying texture and hold onto the sauces well. We ordered a few different noodle dishes, and the flavors leaned bold with chili oil, spices, and savory seasonings that give the dishes their signature Shaanxi style profile. The stewed pork and beef options were both generous and filling, but the lamb dishes stood out with a strong cumin flavor that brought a deeper, more aromatic taste to the table. The lamb burger is another unique item, combining seasoned lamb with a crispy, handheld format that feels different from typical restaurant offerings. The noodles themselves are the main draw, but the lamb burger is worth adding to the order if you want to try something beyond the bowl. Service is quick and efficient, making it a convenient option for lunch or a casual dinner. Portions are generous for the price, and the menu has enough variety to try different dishes across multiple visits. The spice level can be adjusted, but many dishes naturally lean toward bold and spicy flavors, so keeping that in mind is worth it if you prefer milder food. Xi'an Famous Foods is a reliable spot for anyone craving hand pulled noodles and strong, flavorful Chinese dishes. The chewy noodles, cumin lamb, and unique menu items make it stand out from more traditional Chinese restaurants, especially for a quick meal that still feels distinctive and satisfying. It is not a place for a long, leisurely dinner, but for a fast, flavorful bowl of noodles that delivers on texture and spice, it hits the mark well.

One of the best bowls of noodles I had in any part of NYC. Comparable to my top favorite shops like Maxi's Noodle House, Golden Wonton King, and Sweet Wonton House. On my most recent visit, I watched the staff make some of their plump and juicy wontons. They use such a high ratio of shrimp to pork, which makes them absolutely delicious. I can't get enough of them. With that said, their beef brisket and noodles are no slouches. That's why I got a bowl of Wonton & Beef Brisket Noodle Soup to be able to taste everything I enjoy the most here. I'll be back asap. Btw, buy the wontons frozen and enjoy them at home. To start off, we had the Cheeseburger Dumplings ($12), which was so unique. We've never had something like this and they executed it really well. The dumplings were filled with meat and fried with a skirt. The cheese part was topped over it like a melty dressing, so a delicious and special dish here. Plus, it had a side salad to balance all the grease here. For the entrees, we had to get the udon and shared the Niku Udon ($25) and Salmon Ikura Udon ($30). It was a nice combo between a hot and cold udon. The Niku was your classic udon bowl filled with plenty of beef and a perfectly soft-boiled egg. The broth was sweet and savory for a warm and comforting meal. On the other hand, the salmon udon was quite unique with matcha udon and fresh salmon. There is a dashi to pour and mix into the noodles, which still gave it flavor and the slurp you want in a udon. Both were so great in its own way. Even their ramen also looked great, but I love all noodles. Definitely a great spot to dine near Barclays Center. Love to come back whenever I'm in the area again.
