I LOVE this place. What could else could a girl want more than a mexican korean fusion restaurant?? (The answer is not much). This was one of the first places I tried in RVA when I moved here last year, and it's always left a positive impression on me. The staff has always been so kind, the drinks are strong and delicious, the food never misses. It's such a unique menu and I am always down for dinner here. If they have 1 fan, it's me. If they have zero, I'm gone!! I love this place I don't care that it's a chain restaurant. Truly amazing.

I tried three kinds of tacos: bulgogi asada, moo shu mushroom, and chile lime chicken. They were all good, but I liked the bulgogi asada the best. I stopped by early afternoon on a weekday, so it wasn't too busy. The service was good and the food hit the spot. No complaints at all.

This place is such a vibe, me and my girlfriends came here for ladies night and had a blast. I love how you can order tacos a la carte. The appetizers were also very good. I love my margarita and I got a shot of tequila on the side. The staff was great, we stayed until almost closing time and didn't feel rushed.

Wong's Tacos is a gem when it comes to both food and atmosphere. Parking is convenient with options at the restaurant and across the street, which makes access easy. One of the standout features is their dog-friendly patio. It's a perfect spot to relax with your furry friend while enjoying a meal. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making every visit enjoyable. Their service adds a personal touch that enhances the overall dining experience. Happy hour at Wong's Tacos is fantastic, especially if you're a fan of highballs. The $5 highballs are a great deal and one of the best parts of their menu.

Great service, nice ambiance, really unique food! Fast service even our larger group. Had several appetizers and entrees all were really well presented and very delicious.

The service was great and the food was enjoyable. I loved the guacamole and chips, plantains and jerk chicken taco. The pork belly taco was also quite good. The seared shrimp was just ok. I'd try something different next time.

Went to Wong's for lunch today and had a great experience. The restaurant is vibey - Mexican and Asian influences in all the decor around the restaurant from the Chinese dragon across the ceiling and the skull/lucky cat chandelier. We couldn't have had better service, waitress was attentive and told us about the specials. But the best part about this place is the food! I got the moo shu mushroom, kung pao, and bulgogi tacos and each one was so good! Highly recommend the queso as well, it was amazing!

Korean Brisket Bibimbap was terrible! Mushrooms were not throughly cooked and for god sake can you learn to make crispy rice! The rice was just steamed and put on the bottom of the bowl I guess because nobody could see it? Management please train the kitchen staff to make everything on menu as described on the menu Lazy Sunday night staff with no oversight?

I love coming here on a beautiful day out, the outdoor seating area is so comfortable. Happy hour deals are also amazing, check out their deals because they rotate! Their food is amazing and come out so fast. Service is also great, attentive and quick with it. Love this place to catch up with friends or just enjoy the weather.

Wow! My first time visiting the Midlo area and this place hits the spot! Went with my bestie on a Saturday night and were lucky to get a table outside with a great view and great music! We ordered 2 PURPLE RAIN drinks with ketel one vodka, desert pear syrup, fresh lime! Delish! For dinner entrees we went with the CRISPY BRUSSELS SPROUTS (pickled red onion, cilantro, sesame seed, gochujang aioli) yummy as well as EAST MEETS WEST TUNA POKE BOWL and KOREAN BRISKET BIBIMBAP! Both great options with delish flavors. Will definitely be back to try other dishes soon!

the service was okay it was kinda slow and I felt they could have been a little more attentive. the food was tasty I went during happy hour. I did feel like the tacos were small the special was good but you have to order more also. beautiful restaurant very clean and inviting.

Side: Mexinese Rice, Side: Street Corn, Entree: Chicken Ensalada Mexicana

Was drawn to this place by the funky mural on the side of the brick building. Easy parking but the dedicated lot filled up fast. The interior is open, fairly noisy, but clean, stylish, and has several seating options. There is also an outdoor patio overlooking the manmade lake that would be fantastic to sit on in the summers. The service was very friendly and fast. The food was creative, well-prepared, and a good value for the price. - The unsweet iced tea was *perfectly* brewed. - We had the Mexinese rice. My husband loved it but I found it a bit bland (it needed salt.) - The street corn (off the cob) was wonderful. The Chicken Ensalada Mexicana was a massive portion of super-fresh and delicious foodstuffs. But our favorite? - Hands down the chorizo egg rolls appetizer. Holy cow! We will be going back very soon and trying their other menu items.

You can tell from the moment you walk in that everything is thoughtfully done, from the colorful decor to the fresh ingredients in every dish. We dined in and had a great experience from start to finish. Ordering was simple and quick. They also offer takeout and app-based ordering if you're on the go. The menu has plenty of taco options, and everything we tried tasted incredibly fresh. I had the chicken tacos, which were juicy and full of flavor. My wife chose the chorizo tacos, which had the perfect mix of spice and savoriness. We ended up sharing and trying a little of each, and both were excellent. The salsas really stood out. I tried the carrot hot sauce, and despite not liking carrots at all, I was surprised by how good it was. Our child had the quesadilla meal, which is an amazing value at $8.99. It includes a quesadilla, chips, a cookie, a drink, and even a rubber duck. It was a fun and satisfying meal. The lunch taco deal is another great option. For $12.99, you get two tacos, chips, and a drink. Considering the quality, this is a fantastic deal. Chicano Boy gets the basics right and adds thoughtful, fun touches that make the experience memorable. We are already looking forward to coming back.

Ordered drinks and got those immediately, which was also good. When our drinks got dropped off, we were asked if we had already decided on what we wanted to eat, but we hadn't even been handed menus yet. It was at that point that the QR code on the table was gestured to, so we realized that the menu was to be viewed on our phone. Luckily, my ASD kiddo orders the same thing every single time (orange soda, side of fries, queso to dip them in) so he could place his order without looking, but I needed to look at the menu. And it just wasn't super viewer-friendly on a cellphone. Constant hitting the back button, lots of scrolling to compare items. I finally just ordered some random tacos so I could be off my phone and stop ignoring my kiddo. The food itself was pretty standard fare. Not bad but not special either. The restaurant itself was offensively warm though, we were pretty uncomfortable and ended up leaving after my little guy started feeling too overheated and got sick, so that was fun. There are just too many other restaurants to try in the area for us to want to try this one again.

I had planned to sit down and eat there but it seems a little busy that day so I ended up taking my food home. The restaurant was nice and clean. I like the lighting there. Staff were nice, when I got my food, they had forgotten my chips so I had to wait for about 5 minutes for them to figure it out. I really wanted to try the tipsy chick taco so I got that and chips and queso. Chips and queso is a 10 out of 10. My friend had the Baja shrimp taco and thought it was really good. We agreed that the tacos are pricey because they are small. We said we should have gotten two tacos because we were still hungry after eating the one but they are good so is worth the money but I wish they were a little bit bigger. I like that they put stickers on the tacos so that you know which on is which. They also say which sauce goes on which taco as those are package separately which is nice as well. My only feedback is that they should label the sauces too as those can be hard to distinguish without tasting them. Food - I got 3 tacos and my husband got 2 along with an order of 1/2 queso, 1/2 guac to share. The queso and guac were both really good and came with a generous portion of chips. I feel like the tacos are expensive for the size. 2 is good if you're not very hungry or order a side. 3 is good to serve as a meal. Here's what we ordered: Naughty Santa - our favorite! If you get a shrimp taco it should be this one! The poblano sauce is SO GOOD! I might put that on every taco next time I come. Baja Shrimp - also really good! The pickled onions were pretty spicy which came as a surprise. Trailer Park Trashy - good, really flavorful, definitely heavy. I felt unhealthy by the time I finished this one. Mr. Orange - okay this one was nasty. I hate to say it but it was really not good. We regretted trying this one and couldn't even finish it. The flavor profile is off, and the salmon is weird. The texture was too soft and the taco lacked a crunch.
