DO NOT do business with Wood Hollow Cabinets. They do NOT stand behind their work, lie to you, and their materials do NOT hold up, especially their spice rack pulls (have 2" wiggle and will not close properly). Soft close hinges (nothing soft about them). They use cheap glass plastic clips to hold in glass inserts in doors, certainly not the standard compared to quality cabinet makers. I live in the Upstate of SC (Lake Keowee) and was very hesitant doing business with them as they are 3 hours away, however, the designer Nikki, the owner, and installation guy convinced me they are always up in the area and any servicing from faulty craftsmanship would be guaranteed.....later to find out for $600 travel fee! As several on here have stated, there is literally NO customer service, in fact, they are down-right flippant and rude. You can tell they don't give a rip and its your problem. Total "Rip Off" In my opinion, Wood Hollow Cabinets is a total rip off! I worked with Nikki (their design team) to help establish the best design for our master closet. I explained every inch was important because there was no storage in the house we just purchased. She assured us that the design they would put together would satisfy our needs. When we got the closet delivered and then installed, there were SO MANY mistakes. There was also a portion of the closet you could not use or hang adult clothes. I called and spoke to the owner Alisa Brogdon and explained in detail all the problems in hopes she would fix them or take it back. She said she couldn't take it back. She suggested to use kid hangers on the area that the clothes won't hang (This was a Master Suite closet for the Master Bedroom). There were so many mistakes, the design team was not professional nor reliable and the quality was extremely poor considering the 15,000.00 price. It makes me sad/mad/glad to see that I'm not alone in my opinion of Wood Hollow Cabinets. Looking at several of the reviews below, I also see other home owners that had the same TERRIBLE customer service experience. I've also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau but I'm guessing that probably won't do much good. Short version: DO NOT BUY CABINETS FROM WOOD HOLLOW CABINETS. Medium version: They have a nice showroom (of course). They make cabinets (like 20 other businesses in Dalton/North Georgia. Their installation is TERRIBLE. Their customer service is WORSE. Part of our purchase included two wine cabinets (cabinet with lattice work to hold approximately 40 bottles each. The other night when nobody (luckily!) was in the room, including our two children, the lattice work on one of the cabinets gave way and all of the bottles crashed to the floor. After we cleaned up of course i started looking at what happened and that's when i realized how bad a job they had done making and installing the cabinets. 1. the lattice is not complete on the ends, aka the wood does not make a complete square on the ends which are then attached to the cabinet as a weak single piece of wood instead of a complete square. 2. they only used a handful of finishing nails that are approximately 1/8 to long to essentially tack the lattice to the cabinet when it should clearly been securely fastened. No wonder it came apart. Now the even WORSE issue: I contacted my trusted contractor who did our remodeling to take a look and he immediately agreed that it was a faulty install and contacted Wood Hollow on my behalf. In short, they blew him off. And through our conversation I also found out that he has stopped using them for jobs because of this very reason (terrible customer service and installation). I then took the time to call myself. The person that answered the phone took my name, information, the nature of the call, and said someone would call me. I even took the time to take pictures of the issue and sent it as a follow-up to my call. 5 days later, of course nobody had so i called me back. I then called again, got the same "someone will contact you" response. But this time it was followed by a two sentence email verbatim below: "Mr. Morton, I have spoken to my boss, we are scheduled four weeks ahead currently. We are not scheduled to be in your area during that time frame, unfortunately. We thank you for your patience thus far. Thank you," Confused by this message, and hopeful that it meant that maybe they were trying to fit me into their schedule, i called to see what the email meant. The response i received floored me. In short, I was told that they are busy and don't have time to even TALK to me about my issue. All of this was relayed through the poor person that works the phones. The manager didn't even have the courtesy to talk to me with any offer to help, apology, or even to tell me that they didn't stand by their product. Just nothing. Sorry for the long rant - hope i can save you the pain we're going through now. There are a LOT of alternatives. Just mark these guys off your list. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Horrible craftsmanship and rude customer service. Bought new cabinets and they look terrible. They are all unprofessionally finished with TONS of defects. I have tried to let them resolve the issue for 2 months and after 3 visits from their QA folks to repair, they look worse then initially. At this point, I think my only option is to have them remove their shoddy work and I'll find a different company. read more

This company is big on showcasing beautiful and quality work in their showrooms and displays. Unfortunately, this is absolutely not the case if you make the mistake of hiring them to install cabinets. I would have preferred giving no stars, but I did not have that option! I remodeled my kitchen when I moved into my older home. My contractor suggested this company based on a customer's satisfaction with them. I ordered marble sinks which were sent to Wood Hollow as per their instructions. My cabinets remained there for about three months in their warehouse without their acknowledgment! I called the Sink company because Wood Hollow told me that they had not received them. Once my sinks were delivered, I realized that one of the sinks had a flaw. When I contacted the company to have it replaced, they told me that the sink had been shipped out three months earlier, and that they could no longer replace it unless I would pay half the cost of the sink since it had been so long. Due to WoodHollow's neglect, I had no options. They took no responsibility or accountability. One of the cabinets that had been built to house my sink was incorrectly measured, so the sink did not fit in the cabinet. It was returned to Woodhollow with another delay. There was no compensation or accountability once again! Woodhollow called me several times during installation to ask for more money for items that were not originally included in the price. This was the first time that I had been made aware. Several months ago I pulled out a pantry drawer and it came flying out of the hinges and fell on my hardwood floor breaking jars and denting cans. My floor was damaged as a result. I recently had had foot surgery, and fortunately jumped out of the way before injuring my foot. Woodhollow insisted that they receive $97 from me before any work would be done on my drawer after I waited for weeks. My cabinets have multiple cracks and the paint is so thin that it is missing in a number of places. I am very concerned about the quality of materials that were used. The hardware is not at all sturdy. I was told that I had too much weight, but there is no weight restriction listed. It is a cupboard where I put canned goods and jars. I have not heard one word since my last phone call about a month ago. I am devastated with the lack of customer service and concern once cabinets have been purchased from Wood-hollow. I will more than likely not have any follow up on the issues that I have been going through. This is one of the worst experiences that I have had in regard to craftsmanship. If you are considering doing work with this company, please do a great amount of research, before you decide. Their warrantee is useless. read more

You pay for custom cabinets you should get a custom install. The cabinets were not scribed to the walls. Instead they are going to use moulding to cover the gaps between the ends of the cabinets and the walls. Substandard install. read more

BEST IN SHOW AND READY TO GO!! When attending certain shows and festivals, I can easily come across that one exhibit that so rocks my world that it wins the designation of "Best in Show". One of our primary reasons for visiting the North Atlanta Home Show was to find great cabinets for our kitchen and baths. As we entered the second area of exhibits, I encounter this complete example of various kitchens. What set this display apart from other exhibitors was that they showed several kitchens complete with appliances, furniture and other decorative elements so that you could completely imagine the space. They also had kitchen items stored in the drawers so that you could understand their function. For those who were curious about the details and cost of the closets or cabinets, there was a complete itemized description of the project along with costs. Leroy is the company representative and the guy who makes the cabinets so he was able to answer every single question I had. For every question and every problem he had a solution and because he had displayed several kitchen options, he was actually able to SHOW me the resolution. For that awkward corner, there was a massive pull-out that would hold all of my pots, for those small but heavy appliances, there was a lift-stand that allowed me to raise the appliance, use it on the stand and easily return it to its original position when done. Brilliant! The freaking cherry on the cake was that drawer that was designed to snake around the plumbing so that you don't lose all of your functional space under the sink. What????? For dealing with my heavy cast iron cookware, I can choose to have my drawers constructed for maximum weight capacity. I am not talking about the pretty girly cast iron, I am talking about that black Lodge "old school" cookware that will break your wrist but takes your cooking to a whole other level that most people just don't understand. If you are going to renovate, why not get exactly what you want and need? Don't settle because when it comes to kitchens and baths, you really need to consider function as the most important factor. Initially, my interest was just staying close to home for cabinetry but when you find exactly what you want, you have to be willing to do what you need to do to get it. This company is in Dalton, so we will be making the drive to Dalton to check out their showroom. I love being able to deal exactly with the manufacturer instead of having to go through a third party. I am excited to visit the showroom to also check out their bath vanities and to see more of their displays. Wood Hollow made my visit to the North Atlanta Home Show totally worth the trip! Buyer Beware.... we purchased 2 sets of cabinets (2 sets of 14 cabinets each with 25 doors and drawers). These were purchased for our condos in Florida which get limited use. Within 2 years the finish on the cabinets began PEELING OFF. How does STAIN peel? The owner, Charles, offered to refinish the cabinets doors and drawers that were peeling. We were required to pay shipping both ways, DESPITE the fact that there is clearly questions about finish quality, durability, etc. We paid and had the work done. Now an additional 2 years later, the cabinets are even worse. More peeling... again.. how does STAIN peel off? In talking with other cabinet makers, they have told me that Wood Hollow uses a "mass production" method of finishing their cabinets. They mix the stain with the clear coat and "spray it on"... hence the POOR Durability. I'm a 50 year multi-home and condo owner, In my humble opinion, Wood Hollow's claims of "Best in Cabinetry By Design" are VERY overstated. Their "Limited Lifetime Warranty" is effectively WORTHLESS. All the burden and cost are on you as the customers. Do your research, know what your getting, spend the extra money and get REAL STAINED Cabinets. read more

I ran across this company at a home show and the cabinets were everything I wanted and they could be custom made to the height I wanted, I was sold. Big regret, the installation process was a nightmare. I was told it would only take one day since I had a small kitchen, we are now into week five and everything hasn't been corrected. A staff came to my house twice and took measurements and they requested the model number to all my appliances since the cabinets are custom built to the appliances. Well, needless to say the cabinets didn't fit the appliances and took four trips to try and correct and it still isn't corrected. The cooktop drawer was installed and they covered up all the electrical, it was in plain site and should have had a cut out, the cooktop cabinet itself was to small for the cooktop and it took two trips to correct. In addition they don't clean the work site, saw dust and pieces of wood were left all over the kitchen and in the cabinets that I had to clean. The finish on the doors are thin and you can see the paint, this will look terrible in a few years and an installer cut the gliders for a drawer so the drawer fell on the floor every time you pulled it out and I had to pay to have this corrected. The customer service is zero, they don't compensated for mistakes they make the customer pay for their mistakes, they claim no responsibility or accountability it's always the customer's fault or someone else's, not theirs. Shop around, do your research before buying from this company, don't get caught up in emotions because the cabinets are pretty and have a lot of bells and whistles. I regret ever dealing with this company but it's to late for me but hopefully not for you. read more

This was our third home that we have built in the last 12 years and we have used Wood Hollow Cabinets all 3 times. We have always gotten a good quality cabinet and had no issues with them over the years. We hope that this is our last house, but should we need any cabinets again we will definitely use them again. read more

I remodeled my kitchen two years ago and chose Wood Hollow Cabinets because of the quality of work I witnessed in their showroom and the complete scope of having the job done locally and all of my option-needs met in one place. The entire process was seamless and I am so thankful I chose them to recreate the most important room in my home. From day one everything was explained to me in terms I could easily understand and my questions were addressed in a manner that allowed me to have a better finished product. Their vast inventory of accessories and their vision on how to make my kitchen cabinets more productive to meet my needs gave me so much more than I expected. Pull out drawers vs deep cabinets that were hard to access, overhead cabinets with vertical dividers and a cabinet of pull out drawers vs a once underutilized food pantry probably doubled the amount of usable cabinet space in my kitchen. I have found that my family enjoys cooking and entertaining at home more now that we can access everything and aren't embarrassed by our old cabinets. The installation was done on time, to the dime and to my complete satisfaction. The finish is as beautiful today as it was two years ago when they were installed.
