That was especially frustrating because the company's own website explicitly advertises free samples as part of the buying process and says customers can describe what they need if they don't know the exact style. I was actively trying to spend money with this company and was met with zero interest in helping me make a purchase. I had been a costumer since 2010 and returned a roll of carpet padding today (03/15/23) and they charged me 25%. I was sold twice the carpet and padding needed. I understand they could not take back cut to size carpet, but you would have thought they would take responsibility for telling me to measure wrongly and refund the untouched padding. The woman that is the only one that can handle refunds was very smug and passive aggressive. Though I paid with a check and they electronically removed the funds from the bank instantly she insisted they write me a check for the discounted return. Let's hope the check is good! They must not be doing very much business and need to hold on to every penny. I will let you know if the check clears. Never going back there!
