I was a customer for more than 16 years and I have finally realized the owner doesn't give a care about loyalty. One of his newer waitresses gave me an attitude and threw the menus at me. My guest was surprised. I talked with the owner and all he said was I'll talk to her NOT ONE APOLOGY FROM EITHER OF THEM! Their food is just ok. The waitresses all have lower class upbringing and it shows. The owner denied me ordering from the children's menu even though he has proof I medically could not eat more than 4 ounces. The food was very delicious I got the chicken fried chicken it was big and it was very delicious.

The star of this restaurant was the onion burger. It came with a shiny and puffy bun. It had cooked onions and a juicy beef hamburger in the bun. It was a quarter pound or more. The French fries were average (three star). The place was a bit run down and the service was kind of slow. The booths were old fashioned. What really mattered was the food and that was fine. We rate restaurants mostly on food taste and quality. The Woodbridge is worth a return visit because their food is good to eat. read more

Woodbridge is a solid place for a classic diner experience. It's not much to look at, but the food is good and so is the service. My partner and I like to come here for breakfast every once in a while, and they never disappoint! Good coffee that keeps coming and such yummy fluffy biscuits. Try the jalapeno gravy! I recently had the blueberry waffle which was perfectly golden and slightly crispy. You can tell they have a lot of regulars by the way they interact with the customers which is always a good sign to me too. I ordered a meal that includes gravy but didn't want it so I asked for salsa, instead. My thinking was that it would be 'no charge' to get the salsa since I wasn't getting the gravy. A side of gravy which is included with the meal costs $0.99; same amount I was charged for the salsa even though I was charged full price for the meal which would have included a $0.99 serving of gravy? This place is a hidden gem!! We went there the other day for breakfast and we very satisfied. My husband got the Denver omelette and can only say good things about his breakfast. Each bite was full of ingredients. I got the waffle breakfast and I will be honest when it first came out I didn't realize it would be thick like a Belgium waffle, but as soon as I took a bite I was in heaven. My husband had a bite of my waffle and he can't wait to get his own. My eggs were cooked to over medium and were perfect. I have been going here for close to 20 years. The waitresses told me that they make around $2 an hour and no benefits of any kind. I have always tipped heavy but others aren't tipping hardly anything these days. Now he doesn't have any help because no one will work for free. My grandpa has been wanting to try this place since many in his coffee group has been saying great things about it! We decided to go today when my parents came into town. The building is right off 39th and from the outside it doesn't look anything special. But I'm telling you, go in! The decor on the inside is a little old but the wait staff was attentive and extremely nice. We ordered breakfast items. If you don't like dog's in restaurants, scroll on. you have a service animal, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT go to this restaurant. My mother-in-law is diabetic and I have a heart condition. I have a service dog. The waitress was great and even talked to my dog. My dog stayed in her bag. The manager/owner (not sure which) but she began asking questions about her being a service dog. We answered yes. She asked why we had a service dog. That is illegal on a federal level and a violation of the ADA. According to the ADA website if a service dog is not in uniform (service harness) they are allowed to ask 2 questions. 1) Is that a service dog? 2) What is their task. That is it. Nothing else. When my husband asked if she knew she just violated federal law she replied with "Yeah,I know". At this point we left but not before making a scene because yeah, I'm Petty Betty. I've drove past Woodbridge hundreds of times and had never thought to actually eat there. Well, that changed one Saturday morning. My wife and I were wanting diner food, but wanted to try somewhere we hadn't been before. Insert, Woodbridge Restaurant. I decided to try their BLT. For whatever reason, I love BLTs but only seem to want them on the weekends. It arrived fairly quickly and was pretty dang tasty. The french fries were also good. Our server was very polite and pretty attentive given how packed the restaurant was. The crowd definitely leans to the 55+ demographic, but that didn't bother my wife or I in the least. Overall, Woodbridge is a solid diner choice if you're wanting to spend under $15 on breakfast or lunch for you and your significant other. read more

First off I was greeted with Amanda, great personality and timing appropriate attentiveness throughout our visit ! The food? Omg the food and portions were ahhhhmazing! Hole in the wall, diner atmosphere but our food was so delicious. So my husband said we need to try Woodbridge restaurant today after church. He had gone there once and thought the food was great. When we arrived I looked at the old exterior and said "Nope!" and jumped back in the car. He wasn't happy with my lack of adventure so for my marriages sake I got back out of the car. Upon walking in youd think you were transported to 1980. I also noticed that most of the patrons were senior citizens. My son asked in all sincerity if we were at a nursing home cafeteria. I looked quizzically around me. The TV screen had Brady Bunch playing and I wondered if I was in a time warp. Again my husbanded prodded we try this place without scrutinizing it's old building and even older patrons. Upon sitting down a lady took out order. The first thing I noticed is how cheep the food was. The prices were great! An example was the meat lovers plate. It had 2 slices of bacon, 2 slices of sausage, thick ham, 2 eggs, 3 pancakes, hash browns all for $8.49!! How can you beat that!!?? I ordered the chicken fried steak with green beans and baked potatoe and a roll. It had 2 pieces of chicken fried steak on it. I couldn't even eat half of my meal. Everything we ordered was fantastic and such a great price. My husbands steak was great and I loved the fried okra. It was just perfect! All 5 of us ordered food and the total was $39. If you can overlook the old restaurant and atmosphere I highly recommend this place for a delicious down home country meal! read more

Forget IHOP or Denny's, this place is awesome for breakfast. Prices are better than those chains, and the food is very good. Eggs are amazing, perfect diner scrambled eggs. Chicken fried steak was good but not superior. My daughter rated the pancakes excellent as well as the sausage. Bacon a little salty but still good. Excellent service, lots of locals eat here.
