The Woodbury Town Center has a lot to offer. We came for lunch, but it was also convenient that I even stopped by Walgreens for a quick errand. My friends (and our kids) and I came for lunch and we were each able to order from the restaurant of choice and eat together. We had options from Cava, Aloha Stacks, Panera and Flame Broiler. There is ample parking. I'd come to this town center again. read more

I come here for lunch and avoid the area near Niko Niko because that courtyard/quad area has a really loud high pitched sound. I'm sure it's to deter pests, but it frankly is a deterrent for people, too. The noise is so bothersome I don't even like walking by briefly. read more

You cannot sit or walk around or eat in this place due to the severe rat infestation. The biggest rats I've seen outside of NYC. They've had an issue with rats all around the area by the restaurants for years. We just saw 2 huge rats casually chilling by the kid's play area. I mean it's been at least 3 years and they haven't fixed it. I go to LA fitness which is in the middle of all restaurants. read more

The service is fine and the plaza is nice.... Until I seen a whole bunch of rats and cockroaches. The rats are huge and disgusting for all the food options they have there. it disgust me that they have a whole bunch of rats all over the plaza. This is an older shopping center so not quite as "shiny" as others, but I love it. Lots of great businesses for singles, families, young and older alike. Love that it's also by a lake so you can walk off your calories after your meal. Want to watch a movie? AMC check. Want to grocery shop? The Grocery Outlet check. Woodbury Town Center is a large community plaza in Woodbury. It has everything you'd need and a lot of things you'd want in a large scale plaza: home depot, Trader Joe's, Ralphs, Home Goods, every major bank, Fitness (LA Fitness and Elite Tae Kwon Do), and plenty of food options. What could make this place better? They need to upgrade some of their restaurants. I'm surprised I can't find a good sandwich or burger in this place (there is Subway, Panera, and The Counter... all subpar). I'm surprised I can't find good asian food here (Niko Niko is bad sushi, Shin Shem Gumi here is ok, this location isn't as good as other locations I've been to in Fountain Valley or LA). I assume that all these restaurants are still in business because Woodbury Town Center is CROWDED. If you're a business not doing well with all the foot traffic, you probably shouldn't be in business. I'm looking forward to some of the new restaurants coming up with Aloha Stacks and Marble. Those new restaurants will make this plaza even better. read more

This is a nice little shopping plaza. The only place I went to was the food court. It was really nice with plenty of seating. Some chairs are outdoor sofa type with cushions. There's also a giant fountain. There's lots of places to eat. I'm going to come back and try them all. read more

This place reminds me of the Marketplace on Jamboree. No, it's not nearly as big but the layout is similar in concept. There's a lot here but it's so spread out in a sort of C or U shape that you have to actually drive from one area to another if you plan to do any shopping. Speaking of driving, the parking lot is quite ample in terms of spaces and what's also in full supply is risk of being run over by clueless drivers who are too busy looking at their phones than at what's in front of their cars. The drivers are really my main complaint about this plaza and not the plaza itself. This plaza in general has nearly everything you would need for either weekend errands or afterwork dining and relaxing. I avoid coming here if I can, and I'm usually pretty successful at it, but there's a Home Depot here along with a Chevron (separate drive way just south of the main plaza entrance on Sand Canyon), and my bank is here too, so maybe two or three times a year I will suffer the dangers of this parking lot and navigate my way through oblivious SUVs and meandering over sized sedans to take care of only what is absolutely necessary and cannot be done at a later time anywhere else. Note to people in general who drive around thinking it's ok (it's not ok) to be slow and clueless and block traffic because YOU'RE not sure where you're going: NOT EVERYONE IS LOST. NOT EVERYONE IS SHOPPING. GTF out of the way and stop creating traffic problems for the other people who actually know where they're going. And if you're going to PARK IN THE THOROUGHFARE because you need to check your phone, FIND A GD PARKING SPOT! IT'S A PARKING LOT FFS!!! *rant over* read more

Great center except for all olive trees that make a huge mess all over...they drop olives and it gets all over and speaking of all over...the young teens zipping around the center on e-bikes with 0 manners are dangerous!! Sad that probably 98% of them can't have fun without being disrespectful. There's Tons of shopping carts left everywhere all the time from the Super Lazy people that leave their carts. So sad there's such laziness in Irvine now and it looks bad on our community and Ralph's because of them. You'd think people would want their center to look nice and clean?! Im not gonna lie - I avoid most of this center whenever possible. I fear for my life most days I enter it! Ralphs, Walgreens, Carls Jr, the gas station... all PRETTY safe. I say PRETTY safe, because theres a good chance you will be in the correct lane when you enter off Sand Canyon to go straight when an idiot in the turn left lane just doesnt care and also goes straight. Trader Joes, I tend to park closer to Staples (right in front) and walk... but getting out is still an ordeal sometimes. Heading to the middle of the center is where you start to wonder if its worth a game of Frogger trying to get from your parking spot to the restaurant you want to eat at. Then, back in your car, its amazing if you get out without almost getting in a minimum of 5 car accidents. I dont know what it is, but this place is insane on most days. Niko Niko, Panera Bread, Oceanic Fish Grill, First Class Pizza, soon a Chipotle... I feel like this area needs a full time traffic director... its scary people! read more

Not sure where all the negative reviews of this place are coming from, but I guess some people have 1 negative thing happen, that's not really about the Center, and blame them. I however, have never had a problem with this shopping center. Located at the corner of Irvine Blvd and Sand Canyon, this center has grocery stores, a Home Depot, Michaels, Home Goods, multiple food establishments, AND A CHICK-FIL-A. 5 stars automatically for this! No, but seriously. This center is great. It honestly has mostly anything you could really need to get your chores done. The only negative thing about this center, which won't affect my rating, is that there are no larger-sized sit down restaurants. BUT, the Spectrum is less than 2 miles away, so it's not bad. Whether you need to grab a carton of milk, a 2x4 for that play set you're building for your kids, or a nice juicy chicken sandwich, Woodbury Town Center has it! read more

The Woodbury Town Center is a frequent stop of mine. You can get so many things accomplished here! Between the Amazon locker, Trader Joes and Home Depot, there's something for everyone here. Not to mention, there's a Chipotle and Shin-Sen-Gumi! Having the Amazon locker here is fantastic because you can pick up your orders at your convenience and don't need to ship them to the office and bug your office mates or have them stolen off your front porch. Also, having Trader Joes in this area is a perfect remedy to the massive supermarket conglomerates and the stale lack of personality that pervades Irvine. Parking, like many places, is not that great here. You can find a space more often than not, but the road arteries that lead to your space is a bit strangely configured. The double lane from Sand Canyon Ave. merges into a single lane with cross traffic is an accident waiting to happen. In fact, I've driven by accidents in that questionable spot in the past. Drive cautiously in this center! It's a multicultural hub and I can't tell you how many times I've almost been hit on foot and in my car. Restaurants come and go quickly in this center. There are quite a few vacancies. It would be nice if the Irvine Company added a Nektar juice bar or higher end restaurants that serve alcohol. read more

This place is one of the most dangerous places that I've been. Drivers that go through this center have utter disregard of pedestrian safety. But, in fairness, this is rampant in most, if not all, of Irvine - in commercial centers, inside communities, around the schools. One would think that Irvine will be full of professional, ethical, and courteous residents - true, but for some reason all these seem to disappear when these same people get into their cars. I live near a corner with a four-way stop and you can always hear cars honking at each other as they all think they have the right to go first - most of them not even stopping at all! Another thing I noticed - the fancier the car, the worse the driver. Ok, so you are successful and rich, God bless your soul. But you may want to include in your shopping list some good 'ol moral character - oh yeah, right, you cannot buy one of those. I am still thankful that I live in Irvine. It's easier for me to point to my kids what stupidity is and to not replicate them. read more

This plaza is very resort-like with all the palm trees. The shops here are decent, I really only go to Ralph's, Chipotle, Home Depot, Starbucks, and Trader Joe's. But what concerns me about this plaza are the drivers - TERRIBLE drivers. This confirms my theory - the nicer the car, the more asshole the driver. So you can afford a nice car; do you think you're better than everyone else now, and that you can drive however you want? God, this grinds my gears. I have seen cars take up 2 spaces. I have seen cars gun it in this plaza, when there are pedestrians everywhere. I have seen cars not even stop at stop signs. What?! I, myself, have almost been ran over by a tiny man in a big ass truck. You trying to compensate for something there, buddy? And, it's not like it was at night or anything, it was broad daylight; and I am 150% sure homie saw me already halfway crossing the street. read more

This your standard Irvine Company Town Center. It has everything you need which is great BUT much like the other reviewers I have to say the drivers are nuts! They NEED to add a stop sign in between Home Depot and Trader Joes. Speed bumps might help too. I'm not sure how to make drivers look at the crosswalks, maybe flashing lights, but that should be looked at as well. I live nearby and shop here often but this along with the rest of the drivers in Irvine make us want to move. read more

It has pretty much everything I need from a Home Depot, to Ralphs (or Trader Joes if you are into that), LA Fitness, banks, and a pharmacy. There are plenty of other places too if you're looking for some place to eat (Chipotle, Subway, Chick Fila, etc). Parking is plentiful and traffic flow is good (there are multiple entrances and exits on each side). There was a Staples store that closed down a little while ago and the space has remained unused for some time. I'm not sure what will take that space, but it will likely be a larger store. read more

Great shopping center, plenty of parking spaces. A Variety of stores, both grocery, banks, restaurants and they're not all packed out and super crowded. The Trader Joes here is open late till 11pm, which is really helpful! Getting around the parking lot is a little messy, there are so many different turns in and inlets to the shopping center, but once you familiarize yourself with the layout of the center, it's no problem. read more

I drive to Woodbury Town Center regularly to workout at LAFitness. I am a disabled senior has a Handicap card. My usual parking space for the past two years almost always is the Handicap parking in front of Panera Bread. On November 27 I parked my usual spot, after workout I found a parking violation ticket placed on windshield. The ticket was issued by Allied Universal and initialized by SM at 18:06 pm. The reason(s) check-marked on the ticket were: 1. Parked in a NO PARKING space 2. Blocking driveway or access I am STUNNED. My vehicle's description has been PERMANENT RECORDED according to the ticket. I called "Allied Universal" trying to correct the record. The employees were SO RUDE! I was transferred three times the first call getting no one. I dialed back immediately this time no one picking up the phone. read more

Palms and olive trees ... they're everywhere at this town center and in typical Irvine Co. fashion .... well aligned and "planned out" ... uh ya. ;) Seriously, there's a Trader Joes, an LA Fitness, Starbucks, an unusually swanky Ralphs ... and not some small Ace Hardware store but a "big mama" hardware store - a Home Depot. With a couple of major banks dotting the place, I find everything that I need (and more). My only major gripe is a pricey Chevron gas station. I would give this place 4 stars, but with the current "re-paving" and "re-construction" of the parking lot in certain places, it seems a little too crowded and confusing getting around. 3 stars ... for now. As for some of the reviewers who think the driving is crazy against the pedestrians, I totally DISAGREE. There have been countless times where drivers would stop and slow down for me sometimes as far as 25 yards away from me to let me cross "the street". For the most part, the drivers are pretty civilized around here. There are a few "in a hurry" drivers, but not enough to downgrade the whole place to 1-2 stars just because they're in a hurry to get to Trader Joe's. read more

As much as I love the mix of different retail stores here, I really do hate coming here for one reason alone. All the psycho drivers who do not yield for pedestrians crossing at the crosswalks to get to anywhere. They come in all types: contractors at Home Depot, soccer moms shopping at Ralphs or TJs, or even those having lunch at any of the various restaurants in the shopping center that need to rush back to work. There also needs to be an extra stop sign by the Home Depot and Staples, because that's just an accident waiting to happen. read more

While I like the center and have shopped here for seven years, I have to say that I am also very disappointed. This center should be for shops and restaurants that consumers would like to visit daily. There are 5 banks (not useful). There is a rug store (really??). All of the restaurants are corporate, chain, take out type restaurants. That whole section where the Irvine Design Center and 3-4 banks are is soooo wasted. A nicer, sit down restaurant with more variety would be lovely. Driving out of the community every time I want a decent dinner out is a bummer. While I love my apartment and the lovely community, I wish the center delivered more of what we need and want in a community center. Would be lovely if The Irvine Company would work with smaller businesses to build up a less "big business" bank zone. read more
