Serious suit sorcery. Our family by and large is a secondhand family. We rarely buy anything brand new. However, when my son needed a suit for prom and graduation, I wanted to get him something new that could last him a while. However, I have no experience buying suits I have absolutely no idea how to measure one for a suit. Fortunately, Woodland tailoring was recommended to me. We went on a Saturday in April. The place was packed with prom and wedding parties. I was a little dismayed initially, because there were only two gentlemen working and about 30 people in the store. I prepared myself for a wait. Much to my surprise and amazement, the gentleman worked through the line almost magically. After about 10 minutes, it was our turn and it only took a look for him to pull a suit off the rack for my son to try on. No measuring needed he just knew exactly what he needed with a look. That's how you know you are with people who know their stuff! It needed some minor alterations which they do in-house same day!. 30 minutes later, our suit was ready. He threw in a vest and we got a shirt and we were out the door for $210, honestly, that was one of the easiest things we did that day. They were fairly busy and there was only one person covering the floor so I was afraid there would be a long wait for help. The guy was amazingly efficient, however. I was measured, handed a suit that matched what I wanted to try on and it was perfect. The pant needed to be hemmed of course so I asked when I could come back to pick it up. Nope, it was ready in about five minutes. The whole thing took little more than 20 minutes even though he was helping at least 5 other customers do the same thing. First time customer, recommended by my fiancé. I used them for my wedding suit, approximately 3 weeks out from the wedding. What was selected, ordered, and should've arrived 5 days later (in time for tailoring, garment adjustments, and final fitting), took all of the 3 weeks due to an outside company screwing up the shipment, and ended up having to be overnighted to Woodland Tailoring "the day before" we were leaving for a destination wedding out of state. Luckily, it did come in, thanks to the persistence of Abraham (employee). Their tailoring was so phenomenal! What I thought was going to be a several hour process of trying it on, getting numerous adjustments over the course of hours, turned out to be fairly precise from the initial measurement. A couple of additional tweaks were done right there on the spot - within a couple minutes! I was thoroughly impressed. What had me irritated in the beginning, was handled swiftly, professionally, and with excellent customer service and positive attitude the entire time. If I could leave a zero star review, I would. I highly recommend using this place if you want your clothing ruined. brought a 6 month old, $175 pair of pants in for tailoring. When I picked them up I noticed lose stitching on the seat and brought them back to be fixed. I picked the pants up again, and again noticed the pants ripping where they were to be repaired. I was told this was an easy fix. When I picked my pants up the third time, there was an absurd amount of stitching all over the seat of the pants going in every direction. After wearing the pants once, the pants started to rip again in several different places and directions. The tears all followed the stitching directionally. I took the pants back once more and when I picked them up they looked like Frankenstein with the amount of stitching put in. At this point my pants which were basically new are completely ruined. When I told the owner that the workmanship was unacceptable and that I expected him to replace the pants which I was able to find for 60% off the original purchase price, he told me he would rather pay $500 for an attorney than reimburse me $70 for my cheap old pants. He proceeded to yell take me to court like an infant instead of owning up to his shotty workmanship. I know the prices seem good should be hard to screw up a simple Stitch job but trust me these guys will do it. read more

You can be in, measured, marked, and out in less than five minutes. 2. They alter and press your clothes with a very quick turn-around. 3. Their prices are great. 4. These guys are always super chill and friendly. Hands down, the most efficient tailor I have ever been to. A group of friends and I had suits tailored for a friend's wedding. All cuts were made perfect on their first mark and first try, and we had them back within a week. I was told about Woodland Tailoring by a guy at work He got his tuxedo for his wedding there. And was very happy. I'm a short fat guy, (I'm not gonna sugar coat it I am what I am.) I walked in and asked "Do you have a suit for me?" As I slapped my belly. Ahmad said, "sure no problem!" He asked what color I wanted, (it was black for a funeral.)
