Not a bad word to be said for Woody's! Toyota gave me a crazy quote for new front brakes and rotors. I went to Woodys and three hours after dropping it off I was driving with new brakes that cost 1/3 of what the dealership tried to quote me. I saved over $800. My family and I have been using Jose and Mary's shop for years. Jose is the only mechanic we will have work on our cars/trucks (five different makes). My BMW Z-3 has almost 300,000 on it and he expects us to get another 100,000 miles or more out of it. We trust his work as much as we do our family physician's. We first discovered their shop ten years ago because we were having issues with a car and a neighbor recommended them. Not only was Jose able to repair the vehicle (problem was result of poor maintenance from another shop), he addressed some issues that would need repairing "down the road". He told me the issues weren't critical but would need to be resolved within the 2-3 thousand miles. He never charges us for these "advanced diagnostics". As mentioned before, he treats my cars as a physician treats his patients. There was an instance where we let one of the cars sit over the Summer without driving and the battery died from lack of use. Jose brought a new battery to our home (3 miles from his shop) to replace the old and did not charge us for the "out of the way" service. On another occasion, no one was at my home to give me a ride to his shop to pick up a vehicle that Jose worked on. Mary drove from the shop to pick me up from my house so I could use the car that morning. They have always given us excellent service. read more

Great service, quick and courteous! I was driving down Freedom Blvd when my car suddenly made this awful grinding noise - luckily just across the street from this garage. I pulled in and the owner came out to take a look. The noise came from one of the belt-driven parts - alternator, water pump, etc. He offered to do a quick diagnostic at a very reasonable price, removed some belts and narrowed it down to the AC compressor - the whole thing took maybe 15 minutes, and I was on my way.
