I really like Toriumi Auto Repair, they listen, perform outstandingly, and are very fair on the cost of repair. What else can you ask for? My recent repair was a coolant assembly on my vehicle, the dealership wanted $1600 which was outrageous; the parts and labor with Toriumi were less than half of the dealership, with a much nicer group of individuals to boot! This place has good reviews for a good reason. I needed a simple splash guard underneath my Honda civic to be removed. It's literally a couple screws to remove and cutting some plastic underneath. Other shops were going to charge me an arm & leg. Lucky they were able to see me right away and boom I was in and out in about 15 min. I came from San Jose and wasn't able to do it myself. They exuded great service with a good attitude. One shop I called, the receptionist had no clue what needed to be done.. These guys are great. This place is amazing. The first time I came in was because my car was leaking oil after I had just gotten it changed some place else. The other place would not help me so I went on Yelp to find someone who could and came across this place. Dave had me come in the next morning to look at it. All he did was tighten the plug for me and he didn't charge me for my visit. Since he was so nice I decided to call and have my transmission serviced. Made an appointment and 30 minutes later Dave calls back to tell me my car doesn't need it due to the lifetime guarantee on the fluid. I was surprised because another shop didn't tell me and they wanted to charge me $300 for the service. I ended up going in for a safety check instead and I'm beyond grateful for their honesty. i had been dealing with an engine stalling problem in my '91 c1500. i was tired and frustrated of replacing parts in hopes of fixing the problem. i went to Dave Toriumi's garage and made an appointment for a couple days later. i explained to him the problem i've bn having and b4 i could spit out the parts i had replaced he mentioned the distributor shaft. fast forward two days, i dropped off my truck shortly b4 9am, by 11am he gave me a call with the diagnosis...a worn out distributor shaft! by noon that same day he called me telling me truck was ready for pick up. extremely friendly, professional service. i have four cars in my stable, i will return to Toriumi's when needed. read more
