Simply sophisticated, original, and delicious......a fat kids best friend!!!!!! Wooley's offers an array of fresh and original toppings. With pizza's like "The Big Mac, Gyro (including lettuce, tomato, and cucumber sauce), and Taco Pizza Pie" you can see your flavor palate will only be limited by your imagination. Wooley's also offers an extensive line of craft, specialty, and seasonal beers on tap and available in six packs.

Great local place with some elevated bar stuff, good service, great party atmosphere, prices are really reasonable. And cold drinks.

Vinosky has a ridiculous cost for admission and a table that involves a refund in the form of a giftcard that they can't explain. The place used to be very nice, but these two "managers" were rude to me instead of fixing the problem. Unless they fix their ticketing problems, I'm never trusting my credit card with Vinosky again and recommend that nobody else does either. The food is just either a piece of overpriced cheesecake or a cheese and crackers platter not worth the cos. My reasonable complaint was met with reluctance to even address my concerns in an adult manner and I tried to explain my concerns to the owners who didn't even have the curtesy to reach out. just a shame and I'd stay far away from this place, unless the nice view (which it is) is enough for you offset the limited food options, below-average wine, and very poor and apparently thin-skinned, ineffective and rude management.

There is an upper balcony but if you're like me, you like being right in the thick of the action at the stage. The only problem is that it can be a hike from the city and not a fun drive after a late night of music and dancing. Definitely too far to drink. The food is pretty good too. Overall, the experiences I've had are great.

There is a nice stage with plenty of room to dance, and the sound & the lighting is generally good. Certain bands play way too loud so especially for opening acts it's good to have your ear plugs handy. You can pay for early entry to any of their shows which guarantees you a table for dinner. Typically if you arrive at 6 PM which is doors for most shows, you will be able to find a seat at their very large bar. You can only get a table if you pay the extra money and get in at 5:30. Service at the bar can be hit or miss. This time around our first bartender was very friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, someone else took over for her and we never got another refill on soda or even asked if I wanted another beer... They simply just came and took our glasses away without even asking mid-show. If you wanna get something to eat, I recommend you get to the venue by seven or 730 at the latest for 8 PM shows so that you don't have to wait so long for your food to arrive. As I said in my previous review, I've been coming to the venue since they opened in 2012. This is the first time that I've actually eaten something there for a while and my husband and I were actually both pleased with our food this time. He ordered the Pittsburgh salad and added grilled chicken, and I had the chicken quesadilla. Both were pretty big portion sizes and everything was fresh. My chicken quesadilla was actually even better than I expected and the chicken inside was spicy so if you don't like spicy stuff, you may not have liked it, but it was actually quite flavorful. They have a full bar and quite a few beers on tap. For sold out shows they also open the upstairs bar and upstairs surrounding balcony area, which is a great vantage point for viewing the stage below. There is also a cigar bar at this venue. And they have a nice covered outdoor patio complete with fire pits. There is a large parking lot, which is free. Mostly tribute bands play here, but they do have some older national acts that come through as well. They also have a weekly bike night.

It's a full unreserved recommend highly and take Mom and Pop for lunch too! Seriously, Westside Bowl DOES have great pizza. They got a LOT of off street safe free parking. The people who work there are friendly AND fun to look at. (not being mean, I just like green hair and a smile ) There are regularly scheduled bands. Some of which do cost $20+ to see, but it's a good concert space downstairs with a good vibe. It's not like you're stuffed into "JJ's Cave" or something. Remember Nyanhinghi? Nitabinghi? That bar that had music up on Steel street? Same good vibe. And that's really the point I'm trying to make. The Westside Bowl is an exemplar (ha!) of what could happen when good, ON SITE management means to a venue. Hit this place up for some cool and mellow times, and enjoy your afternoon. Your night. There is also a big patio area which is wonderful for a warm spring day, or a cozy summer night. The menu contains unique items amongst its standard fare. We went with the "Polish bowl", the " Italian bowl" and the cheesesteak. The Polish bowl contained pirogies that would rival any church lent takeaway. Accompanying them was kielbasa, sauerkraut, bacon, with side of sour cream and butter. Large portions, delicious taste. The Italian bowl consisted of four enormous meatballs. The flavor reminded me of my mom's who was taught by her neighbor who was from Italy. So very delectable. I took two of the four home and made two meatball subs from them- again, so enormous. The Grumpy Beaver does not skimp on quantity, but maintains a very high level of quality. The cheesesteak equaled two you would receive from anywhere else. The inclusion of sirloin, Swiss cheese accompaniment, and the local Mancini bakery bread ( long roll) will stand against anything you get from Philly. This was scrumptious. For dessert we chose a Dubai torte, and a banana peanut butter pie. Both did not let us down, with the heavenly flavor exploding in each bite. Our waitress Gabby was sweet and very accommodating. We will be back, and you should try it!
