I found two pairs of boots I liked that I wanted to buy. I asked the customer service agent if he had my size in stock. They didn't. I asked if he had the boots at another location and could have them shipped here. He said I would have to leave a deposit. When I asked what would happen if I didn't like them, he said he would return the deposit. I asked him what the point of the deposit was if he would just return the deposit. He then told me to go buy the shoes elsewhere. Needless to say, CRAPPY customer service. Then, I received a Yelp post in response to this from someone in the neighborhood saying the worker must of been fed up with my ridiculous questions (hmmm, could it be an employee?). Great service as soon as I walked in the store it looked very nice they have all the popular boots brands (Keen) I was offer help by and cool dude I told him of course I a pair of keen louisville that i just had seen on the website he asked me what size and unboxed it for me and brought out two other sizes to check for the right fit. I got two pairs of work boots plus insoles for a birthday present. Antonio helped my Dad and I when we went to shop. Got the same shoe in 2 different colors. Fast forward wore the black pair for a ten hour shift. Shoes were fine. Next day wore the grey pair for a 15 hour shift. It was the most painful thing ever. Something was wrong with the right shoe. no matter what I did the shoe clamped down on my foot. so I went back to the store and let them know the issue with the shoe. Fearing that they would not exchange the shoe. Antonio took care of the shoe. the store and staff are great. read more

They do have good boots. but a few issues with this place 1.) they push those cheap chinese Wolverine boots down your throat. its like the store is owned by Wolverine boots. 2.) the staff is rude, they will help you but they have an attitude. 3.)they sell work boots there not contractors or service men. so they dont really know the quality and build of there shoes, and how well they last OUT SIDE of the shoe store. they just tell you what they read and heard. I used to depend on places like Sears for solid boots but when I can rarely find my size (13-14 depending on manufacturer) and even more rarely find the gear I need in my size I've had to look elsewhere. Sears, Red Wings, Big5, Supply Sergeant, DSW, etc. My search ended at Work Boot Warehouse. This place is GREAT! Wide selection, from very heavy duty work boots to motorcycle and cowboy riders, hikers, and more. I got a pair of Wolverine work-hiker crossovers for a trip to the mountains - they had my size in stock! - and added a couple pairs of extended size padded wool socks, all for a competitive price. The guys on duty were friendly, helpful and made sure I had what I wanted and needed. They knew their stock ("these run narrow" and "these run a little large") and knew how to earn repeat business and a customer who will recommend their shop to others. What a really great experience at this store! I had just finished working (nite shift) and was tired but needed steel toed boots stat! I walked into the store and was immediately greeted and customer service was provided quickly, even though the store was busy with other customers as well. Ryan was helpful from the get go and was quick to help me with what I needed. I was also helped by Ed who was so helpful and nice. It is such a refreshing change to have helpful , curious and pleasant customer service. There were several employees that were helpful in the store and all very nice. We had to get boots for my son and his buddy who are starting lineman school in a week. They showed us the boots we wanted and had the right sizes, and we made the mistake of telling them they were hard to find and we needed them quick, so we paid the price! The manager inflated the price big time and there was nothing we could do. After purchasing them I called the boot manufacturer to get the specs (because they weren't in the box) and the lady even told me we paid way too much...about 20% over retail! Had I had time to order them online I would have saved a bunch. I would have been happy enough to pay retail for those but to pay $45 over retail is crazy! DO NOT do business with these guys, they are crooks. I am a lineman in training and first of all there in store selection sucks and the sales people do not know what they are selling. I bought a pair of LA Sportivas and tried to return them brand new in the box with the receipt so I could get real climbing boots like Hoffmans or Danners(which they don't carry) and the manager said no because they invested they're time selling me those. this is not the way to take care of customers. I will make sure I let every brother in the trade and union know not to shop there! read more
