Between my wife and I we go through boots - IBEW LU11, and the first and most recent times for both sets of boots respectively we've come to this shop. Jerry helped me into the right size today; I was being a little whiner about sizes because the Irish setters I'd had and resoled since 2020 were just a little big. As a professional and with some warranted resistance he made sure I understood that what the Redwing foot mapper was telling him was the right choice. He put the foot down on my gripes when I was on the foot mapper. Showed me some insoles which mated well with my wear-in woes (potential) and got me into a set of classic 8" toes to compliment my Irish setters (safety toe). My boots I have zero problems with... but I came in to resole my boots and the girl upfront was cool and explained to me what was going to be done to my boots and I gave them to her. She noticed a vintage lace keeper I had on my laces and I told her they were gift. Came to this location to buy a pair of iron rangers. The young lady working used their computer aided shoe sizer and told me I am a size 9.5 (been wearing size 11 tennis shoes my whole adult life) I gave her my trust and decided on a pair. As I tried them on they made a squeaking noise and she explained to me they were defective and she couldn't sell them to me and she would order a brand new pair from the distribution center, I agreed. 2 days later I received a pair of shoes that was shipped from their store in Burbank. The shoes (and box) were obviously worn or tried on to the extent of significant wear. I decided to take the boots to the Pasadena location (as instructed to me by their corporate office) At this location the manager of the store resized my feet (confirming my size 11 shoe) and exchanged the boots for a brand new pair and correct size. I love the boots however because of this terrible experience I will never by another pair of red wing boots or recommend them to anyone. Lies and deceit are a terrible business practice. read more

I just went into the redwing store in Burbank,Ca looking to get my redwing 411 tough toe'd and clean and condition. Only to get very disappointed with the individual behind the desk. First of all he wasn't tryen to help me and just kind of tried to brush me off out of the store telling me that it would take about 4 days to make that happen which is unbelievable usually it takes about two days, he then proceeded to tell me to just head over there they will help you I can't so I asked him if he can call he said NO! I have been to this location 3 times already and each time everyone here has been very helpful and patient! My dad comes here to shop for his work boots and every time the staff is very helpful and patient with helping him find the right pair of boots. He usually likes to try a few pairs on because he needs a wide foot boot. Everyone here is always very patient and doesn't mind having to bring in 2-3 pairs for him to try on. The first time he purchased a pair of boots from Red Wing Shoes was at a different location and when he had to return the boots, the other location made it a hassle. We then decided to come to this Burbank location and they sorted it all out and made sure the replacement boots were the perfect fit for him and that is why we have been returning to this location and each time we receive the same kind of service that keeps bringing us back. This review is for Kara and the exceptional service they provide! I called inquiring about insoles that might help plantar fasciitis and Kara answered. She must have spent ten minutes on the phone listening to my concerns and answering questions. She was very patient, friendly and informative. She invited me to come in and bring my boots so we could try a couple products and see what works. I went in and was greeted with the same friendliness that was exhibited over the phone. We probably spent a half hour trying different products and talking about the service that redwing answered. She informed me that redwing offers additional free services like cleaning, oiling, free lace repair, free eyelet repair etc. I was blown away!!! Then I happened to go to Another Store n low and behold I was talking to the regional manager of the Burbank Store.

Everyone knows Redwing is extremely overpriced, but their customer service and quality products is supposed to compensate for the high prices. They dont. I recently needed a new pair of boots and have bought several pairs from Redwing in the past, so I thought I would try them again. They didn't have my exact width size in stock, but the manager told me that by going up a size in length that they would fit property in the width. They did not and were very uncomfortable. I wanted my money back but the manager said that he could order the right size, and if they still didn't fit right I could return them or exchange them again. After waiting 2 weeks for them to come in, the new boots were also uncomfortable. I went back to exchange them for a different style thinking the style was the problem. A salesperson told me they couldn't exchange them a second time. (both pairs were worn around the house for just a short time and were in perfect condition and could be sold as new) I had her call the manager who denied that he told me I could exchange them a second time. I left the boots there and was out $200. I went directly to Walmart and got a great fitting boot for a quarter of the price! In my opinion Redwing is just a marketing company that happens to sells shoes and boots. You can get comparable or better products and services for much less money at other places. Dont fall for their marketing bs that they have no intention of living up to. read more

So a bit tricky Not really, because of her. First of all she has a great phone voice and is super pleasant to speak with, also she went way above and beyond to check to see how we could get the transaction done. Even though she probably won't receive any incentive in the end, she should. I am going to have to order from Anaheim, which they will allow because of the situation, and then she will transfer the shoe and directly ship it to me. Before that though, I was given the treatment of measuring my feet and arch stress with their cool little gizmo. Let me tell you, I do not remember the last time someone ensured that I had the right fit, was comfortable with my boots, and took time to make sure I was happy with my purchase in a long time. Steven was an exceptional customer service representative for Red Wings Shoes! That dude is passionate about what he sells and made me feel genuinely satisfied with my purchase. That is important to someone like me who throws down a good couple hundred $$$+ on some boots. I am currently breaking in my boots before the season starts in October and I love them! Backed by lifetime supply of laces and oil conditioning, I am sure these boots will outlast a lot of my equipment. I've bought two pairs of Worx boots from here and taken advantage of the cleaning and conditioning service and even the repair service on my first pair of boots from them. Tre, Alex and Lydia are always extremely kind and helpful whenever I drop in, and my boots are always returned to me in exceptional fashion. I work twelve hours a day as a union propmaker so I'm on my feet a lot. And in my years of working in the entertainment industry, these boots and the orthotics that I was sized for, have been amazingly comfortable, which is a massive deal to me. Going into this store was so awesome. Unexpectedly; one of the coolest retail experiences I have ever had. The store itself looked orderly, and great, but it was not about that. What made it so interesting is that I felt like I was in a business that shouldn't exist in 2017, like some sort of business from the 20s or 30s. I didn't think buying a pair of boots could be so nuanced and informed. The guy who was helping me out (Steven) clearly saw the fit of the boot as a craft. In fact, he probably knew more about boots than I know about anything. Ha, very cool place. And as for the boots being "overly expensive" I disagree.
