The greenhouse itself is huge, well organized, and surprisingly easy to shop despite how much they have. I'd honestly love to see what the selection looks like even earlier in May, though planting too early in Michigan always feels a little risky. Prices felt very fair too, especially compared to some of the hanging basket and planter prices at local markets and pop-ups. Definitely a spot I'll be returning to.

We found many heirlooms and hybrids in produce plants. We have been shopping at another large greenhouse around for many years. The quality and variety of plants here are amazing. So glad we came here!

They have a nice selection of plants, herbs and vegetables. One big thing I did notice this year was that they dropped the cell size of the vegetable saplings from 4 to 3 but the price stayed the same $1.99. A lot of places are still charging the same price for a 4 cell so keep that in mind. The plants looked really healthy this year so far. I love their Salad Bowls. I always pick up 2 or 3. It's great having access to fresh lettuce everyday. I also came looking for a couple Lemon Cypress trees. Sadly they don't carry them so that was a bit of a disappointment. We did leave with some herbs and vegetable plants though. TIP: Get here early in the season... The plants that they have in the first week or two of opening are a great deal for their size, a large 4" tomato plant will cost you less than $3.

They carry an excellent selection of perennials plants and flowers. You are sure to find more than enough to fill out a garden no matter what your needs or wants are. In addition, they carry lots of annuals - a wide variety of them in the spring, including vegetables and herbs. They also carry plants for ponds, lots of indoor and outdoor planters, and other gardening aids. If you have a green thumb or even if you wish you do, stop in at Barson's. You'll find your muse.
