The ceremony got out early and people showed up to the hall early. So the people working the bar decided to open the bar early. Wow what a nice bunch of guys to open the bar early. So 830 comes around and the bar closes and the bride and groom are told that they not only have to leave by 9 but all decorations have to be out. Even though they rented the hall until 10 and said they would pay for the extra hour because the ceremony got out early. People got angry as you can understand. The DJ had to stop playing music an hour early and the wedding had to end early. I will no longer support any Elks Club because of the way this place is allowed to operate.

The venue had to have a hall to fit 100-150 people, hotel rooms at the venue or nearby for traveling guests, and a variety of good quality food. From our first meeting with Jayme Dalipovic, their catering sales manager, we knew we didn't need to look anywhere else. They had multiple rooms of varying sizes, so it gave us some flexibility depending on how many people were coming. Being a hotel, they had plenty of rooms that we were able to reserve blocks of rooms at a great discount. And when we booked up the block, they provided us with more. Unlike most halls, the food options were from their on-site restaurant. They had great options for food and it didn't feel like mass-produced generic catering food, but like we were getting food directly from an elegant restaurant...which it was! And even more impressive than finding this place that exceeded our expectations on what we were looking for, it far exceeded all the intangibles that we had never even thought of. The quality of service and hospitality made us feel like we were royalty. The level of attention they focused on left nothing unthought of. Every little detail they made sure was perfect! For anyone looking for a place to hold an important event, be it a Bar Mitzvah, a wedding or a company retreat, we highly recommend going with Four Points by Sheraton Norwood. I booked it with Ann who is the Marketing associate, she is very professional and friendly, we stayed in contact via email up about 48 hours prior to my event. We went over the contract the day I signed, and a few days before my event to go over everything such as rules and the start/end time. I met with Frank the facilities Manager in the beginning and at the end of my event, he was also very professional and friendly. Overall the party was great, many people reached out to me on info so they can plan future events at this location. If you want to deal with professional, friendly people I'd definitely say book here. Last thing to keep in mind if you plan on setting up decor/balloons you will need to add additional time to your contract for setting up and also for cleaning up at the end of your event.

The gym was a perfect place to hold a party for kids. They were able to run around and play out of the toy closet. We were also grateful for the chairs and tables that were made available for no extra charge. I'll definitely be remembering them for future parties and would recommend them without hesitation.
