They opened a ticket and say it will not be resolved until another 3-5 business days, when we are supposed to be in town for this funeral in 3 days, leaving us in a situation that should not be in light of the circumstances. I've stayed at Marriotts before on the west coast that have been great, so this is very disappointing for a Marriott.

Last night ...no books could be found. Today... no books could be found. I'm trying to handle this while leading a Roadshow in Oxford, Mass. The Curriculum and Instruction Director drove our hotel and found 2 of our books randomly on file cabinet. She brought them back. Magically, in about an hour, the hotel called me having found our books. ... well 2 boxes worth. I requested that they drive the books over to us. They said, we can at 3. To which I said, well, the event is over at 3. She hymned and hawed. And so... I mention: OPENING MY PACKAGES IS A FEDERAL OFFENSE. Audible gasp. She brought the books over shortly there after ... The guest key is linked to the elevator providing security. You must swipe your key card and select your floor for access. We had a wonderful stay. The facility and grounds were well taken care of. Beth and Joey at the front desk were very helpful. We had a ceiling light and stove light out and the maintenance and engineering tech was very fast, pleasant, and easy to work with (sorry I didn't catch his name) and got it fixed right off. The kitchen worked out well. We cooked a few things and was glad to have a full fridge and freezer. Everything worked well and was stocked nicely. The temperature controls and unit worked well. They have a nice gym, walking path, doggies station, breakfast area, common seating areas and outdoor space. The only thing that was a bit disheartening were a few of the guests didn't always pick up after their pooches. Thankfully there were plenty of waste baggies so I did my fair share of clean up. I am really thankful to have pet friendly places to stay and wish other people did their part. We did have a run in with a guest who couldn't manage their two dogs so word of caution to be alert around other pups. The breakfast was decent with a variety of options such as oat milk, vegan foods, hot oatmeal, bagels, waffles, french toast, eggs, sausage and vegan sausage. Lots of condiments like PB, cranberry, nuts, seeds, juices and more. The staff did a great job cleaning up and keeping the food and coffee stations filled. One family with their young tots made a full blown disaster and I thanked the ladies who came up after to pick up and scrub it down. We had a king size bed with 4 pillows and extra bedding in the drawers. It was very comfortable as I've always slept well on Marriott mattresses. The room had plenty of storage to unpack, an ironing board, and updated outlets for charging. The rooms were cleaned every other day but I did ask them to come more often to vacuum up after the pup. I appreciated them very much. The view to the outside over route 9 towards the Natick mall was nice. It wasn't too loud and I enjoyed being able to see the grounds. The tree leaves were turning color and the ground people did a great job mowing, trimming and keeping the place looking nice. I look forward to our next stay and highly recommend this location. We met some long term stay guest who were also quite nice. Thank you to all the staff for being so friendly and welcoming.

The room was spotless, modern, and had a sleek, comfortable vibe. I deducted a star because we purchased a room with stadium view and had a view of the roof and the parking lot. The bed was cozy, but the pillows deserve their own shoutout, they were unbelievably comfortable, the kind you actually miss once you get home. Down at the bar, Tom made the experience even better. He mixed up one of the best mules I've ever had and was genuinely great to talk with...friendly, and welcoming. Definitely a place I'd stay again, both for the comfort and the hospitality.

I noticed that, as a Diamond member, they still wanted me to pay for breakfast! It utterly astonishes me the low end places like this still try to charge for breakfast, when so many cheaper places than this, many of them other Hilton Garden Inns, offer free breakfast! Also, they only give Diamond members a $10 food and beverage credit, so it won't even completely cover it if you have more than one guest and get two totaling $20. Don't go anywhere near the concession area there! Yeah sure they have lots of garbage for sale, but when I wanted a single small pizza and a small box of stuffed pizza rolls, plus a water, the bill was $25 for THAT! And the way they try to absolve them selves to blame it on the third party they use to provide the stuff! FYI, my fridge was broken and completely frosted over, so it wouldn't even cool my waters. There was a pizza box with a partially consumed pizza in it too! Yuck! And now my favorite part of the visit, the parking scam they pull there! Because there was a Patriots game happening the night I was there, they tried to hit me with a $60 parking fee too! Upon check in, I discovered this hustle and rebelled against it as soon as I was given a free spot in the retail area in the bigger parking area, due to my disabled placard. Guess what?! Despite telling everyone, from the valet staff, to the manager of the front desk that I had removed my vehicle from the hotel's parking lot, they left it on my bill anyway! When I approached the front desk manager, she told me "it was no problem and would be removed as soon as she spoke to the valet staff to make sure that my car hadn't spent the night in their lot." Then, when she realized that I had outsmarted them and parked in Gillette Stadium's lot, which gives free parking to retail customers at their public restaurants and especially disabled people, she moved the goalpost and tried to charge me ANYWAY! What a cvnt! She stood her ground! I left furious and complained to Hilton Diamond and they told me someone had removed the charge after I left. I'm assuming the GM overruled her robbery of me! Needless to say, anything you do in this hotel is ala cart and they have the excuse of a third party to justify every scam! You have to demand your folio upon check in to see what games they're playing and don't bring a car on the property, event just to unload. The valet guys insist on asking your name and room number before you check in and automatically throw a valet ticket in your car to begin the scam so your car is already theirs, even if you tell them you're not parking with them in the valley service. It's a gang of thieves between the front desk staff and the valet, so beware.

It's about a 45 min drive…read moreto Salem, MA but honestly well priced compared to staying in Salem for the night (I don't mind driving). Service is amazing by the way. We checked in late in the evening but it was so quick. We also needed ice last minute and front desk went out of there way to fill our ice bucket rather than just tell us where it was. The only thing that truly bothers me is the bump you drive over upon entering the parking lot. It feels totally unnecessary and scares you since you don't expect it as you're pulling in.

When you look at the building in one direction, a big sign reads TownePlace, but if you walk a few dozen steps and look at the building from a different angle another sign reads Springhill Suites. The hotel is located beyond a traffic circle on Ledgeview Way and our GPS did not recognize the address because the hotel was obviously carved into new space at the end of the street. So don't fret if your navigation system doesn't understand the address. Our phones did, but the GPS did not. Once we found the hotel, we saw they offered plenty of complimentary On-Site Parking. We were a bit confused when we walked into the lobby, because the sign behind the check-in counter read "Springhill" and there was no mention of "TownePlace". I actually walked across the lobby to see if there was a second check-in counter. There wasn't, and learned the one counter did double duty for both hotel brands. Once we solved the check-in confusion, we went to our suite, and it was very comfortable with a big screen TV, a workstation, a living room with a couch, a comfortable King-sized bed, a kitchenette and a decent sized bathroom with a good shower. The free WIFI worked well, and the HVC worked pretty well, but we did have an issue with some weird 3:00 AM noises that sounded like a coked-up telegraph operator. The hotel is just 0.1 miles away from two restaurants -a 110 Grill and a sweet Italian restaurant named Evviva Trattoria, where we had dinner and loved it (see separate review). Our hotel buffet breakfast the next morning was excellent, with three hot dishes, two waffle machines, plenty of fruit and cereal and breads and pastries and yogurts and oatmeal. I can't remember the last time I saw grapes at a hotel breakfast buffet, but they went well with the cereal and yogurt bowl I created. Four stars for a great location, room, and breakfast. I would have gone for five, except for that unwanted rat-a-tat wake up call.

They also said that if I would like my room right now, they'd give me a room with a "shorter bed." I asked I've never heard of checking into a hotel with a shorter bed. Since i traveles and was tired i opted for the "shorter bed". What this employee really meant was it was a handicapped accessible room. I wish she would have just said that. I walked in and there was a stand in shower and the bed was short but other than that it was OK. Apparently, the info about updated my credit card on the app, was not true. The manager who was present during check in was the same person who checked me out the following morning. Not apologetic at all and said, well they're down, what do you want me to do. Maybe look for a solution because you're a name brand hotel. She was extremely rude and was very matter of fact. So I asked for her name so I could document our communications. She scribbled some random letters and I asked her to spell it out for me. She finally wrote her name correctly. The hotel is old. But remodeled. I can tell by the water damaged kitchen cabinets ans the white bathroom tiles. But it was clean, quiet and perfect to catch your flight out of BOS. They charge you $20 for parking per night. It was a kitchenette, microwave and full fridge. They have free breakfast in the morning Overall, i would t stay here again due to the poor service.

The hallways, tables, elevator and furniture had a thin layer of dust likely from the construction (well that's what I told myself). Parking is expensive in all of Boston. The chain to move the window shade was not secure and could function more smoothly.
