Kind of out there in the middle of very little traffic activity. I was in Asheville 75 miles away. Our AAA NC couldn't seem to help, (Guess what I ain't renewing.... :) ), when it seemed that all she needed was a patch and a refill. After calling everyone that google was spitting up, (and almost getting scammed by a firm in NJ out of $255.00. .) we wasted 3.5 hours, calling , I felt like we had running out of options, and my wife was going to walk 7 miles to a gas station that was hopefully open 24/7 for a can of fix a flat, I tried the google search for local roadside assistance one more time. Rowe Towing finally showed up on the list. After calling, Carter and Joe were there in less than 25 minutes, They bent heaven and earth to get my family home, that late at night, with flood warnings and torrential rain coming and going. Carter and Joe are an absolute Godsend in a horribly stressful situation, and I'm eternally grateful for them. Incredibly professional, kind, and very helpful. I'd recommend these folks anytime anywhere! The tire puncture(s), were a bit more complicated than a simple nail, and God bless them, they did everything they could to get my family safely on the road, including going to Sevierville at 2:00 in the morning for a tire for our wounded vehicle. You guys are forever in my debt! Google needs to put them on the top of the list when you search for Dandridge TN roadside repair! We read good reviews on this Auto repair shop. My husband called Monday morning at 8am, explained what happened. The shop had us bring the truck in at 10am. Rental car company picked my husband up at the shop. Two days later we found out the wheel bearing had broke. The shop charged us a great price for the work he had done. We were stranded in Pigeon Forge over the Memorial Holiday weekend. It was a Sunday and our car was…read morehaving trouble shifting. Seeing that they were open until 10:00pm, I was able to carefully drive to their facility. They said they would look at my car first thing in the morning. I couldn't believe they would be open and working on Memorial day. I rented one of their autos and made it back to the hotel. I returned the next morning and they already had started working on what might be wrong. Dennis, the lead mechanic was wonderful to work with. Dennis said enjoy Pigeon Forge and we will call you as soon as we know what the problem was. At10:00 am I got a call that it was what I thought it was the transmission. I was given several options and they went above and beyond. In fact they found a transmission near by and gave a check to an employee who lived near the supply business to pick up the transmission on his way to work. Again this is Memorial Day and as we enjoyed our day in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg as they removed the transmission in preparation to install first thing Tuesday. We again enjoyed the next day and got a call from Dennis at 1:00pm that our car was. They went over everything and kept me informed every step of the way. We didn't loose a day and even though we thought we were gonna be stranded way past the holiday weekend, this company went above and beyond to make sure everything worked into our schedule. A day later, my car started making a strange noise, and I immediately began to worry. My first instinct was to find a Firestone because it was familiar, but something told me to look for a local mechanic instead. That's how I found Rick's. Even though they were absolutely slammed that morning, the staff welcomed me as a walk-in. The lady at the front desk quickly found someone--who I believe was Rick himself--to take my car for a test drive. When he returned, he asked me to give him a few minutes to find an open lift. About twenty minutes later, they had diagnosed the problem, made a minor adjustment to the subframe, and had me safely back on the road. While I was waiting, I couldn't help but notice how the service advisors treated their customers, especially several elderly folks who came in. They were patient, respectful, and took the time to explain everything clearly. That kind of customer service has become all too rare, and it created an atmosphere that immediately put people at ease. What impressed me most wasn't just that they fixed my car. It was that, despite being incredibly busy, they were willing to stop what they were doing to help a stranded traveler they had never met. That says a lot about the character of this business. I'm truly grateful for Rick's. If they were in my hometown, they'd have my business for life.
