I got my no chip done twice here and both times they changed colors . I never had this happen to me before . The manager told me it's because I used lotion and chemicals . I guess I can't use lotion for two weeks . She redid my nails and charged me still. They really go at it at your nails . Take a pain killer before you go my nails were in so much pain afterwards and they don't cut your nails properly . This place looks upscale but the service is definitely not. read more

By far worst lasting no chips and dips. It's mind blowing that I keep giving this place a second chance. I always think it was just a fluke that my nails chipped within days. Magic's dip lasted me 6 weeks it was like cement on my nails. This dip lasted a whopping 2 days before chipping on 7/10 nails. Came here for a dip manicure using a coupon I received in the mail. I usually go to Magic Nails where dip manicure will last 3-4 weeks with no chipping at all. I have never had a dip manicure start chipping. After less than 5 days with this manicure, top coat started peeling from multiple nails. Eventually color below started coming off. Nails looked terrible. Tech was very rough on cuticles during manicure. Save your money and time and skip this place. There are plenty of better salons around. read more

I came here with my mother-in-law to get a pedicure and manicure done a day before an event. I am very disappointed with the way that they handled my mother-in-laws pedicure. They scrubbed her foot until it was raw. She is an older lady so their skin is thinner and more fragile than someone in their 20's. She has an open wound now on her foot and was in pain for the event we had the next day. Still today she has discomfort on her foot and is unable to wear shoes. You need to be more careful when it comes to people's skin and what they can handle and not be so rough and in a hurry to get things done. I will not be coming back to your establishment. I recently went to get a full set with no chip. I like my nails long so I got them long. The lady doing my nails (I didn't catch her name) she had an attitude the whole time. Saying my nails are too long, taking too much time, and "oh no house work for you". I can cook, clean and wipe my ass with long nails. They are on my hands not hers I don't get why she couldn't stop complaining and do her job. Staff there is very rude, not just to me but my friend as well. She had snide comments and was laughing. The experience started off good, but then half way through the girl who i had switched to Kevin. I really liked the girl, but Kevin did a horrible job on my nails. he did the important job, the color. He completely messed it up. I asked if they had time to do my nails before they started and it was a little past closed so kevin started to rush and was impatient. he got mad at me when i tried moving my purse and didn't offer to help and my nails got smudged. i get that it was past closing time, but i was there for a good nail job, but they rushed through it. This was my first experience and my last! The place is beautiful and clean but the workmanship is seriously lacking. My nails are naturally square ask for them to stay square. Why are some of my nails round? I asked? No answer. The color I picked was not the color on my nails. Told the lady more than once this is not the color I picked and was ignored. The paint job is uneven and you can see through some nails they needed another coat. No chip nail polish wrong color in package and the two bottles didn't even match. She asked if I like I told her No I did not pick this color. She kept going ignoring me. She Told the lady at the front desk about the colors not matching and nothing was said about how they are going to fix the issue. Both of them spoke about the colors being wrong and went to the cabinet to switch and fix the issue and I was ignored. Lacking serious customer service. You never know until you in this situation how it is very disappointing it is! I will not being going back to this place! The customer service is seriously lacking. read more

I came here to get my nails done twice and both times I was very disappointed! My first time going there I asked to get a fill in for my acrylic nails. She did a good job until she started painting them with no chip nail polish, when that was not what I asked for. Then Half way through my manicure the person doing my nails got up and left without even telling me and had someone else finish my nails. This upset me because he did not even know what I had wanted and asked me all these questions over again about what I wanted done. After that experience I thought maybe it was just a bad first impression so I tried them once more. When I walked in I was told to pick out a color from the no chip section. She told me that the no chip polishes have a matching regular polish for my toes. When she pulled out the box the polish looked a different color than what I had picked but she assured me that it would turn out like the color I wanted. It did not. The color was way different than the sample nail. Then the so called "matching" regular polish that was on my toes turned out to not match at all. The color was a different pink than what I had asked for and a different color than my finger nails. Looking at my nails after they were done I noticed that the polish was applied unevenly, almost like it needed another coat. As she was doing my nails she seemed very tired and like she wanted me to be out of there. Three days after getting my nails done I noticed that my pedicure had began to chip away faster than usual. This is the 2nd time I got my nails done here. My experience was terrible my fingers hurt for days afterward, and were bleeding...... Vicky did my nails and she was very rough with the file, I have 4 nails with cuts. 3 of my nails were bleeding slightly at the top of them. But the worst is my index finger which has a big slice on the skin where she filed on the side of the nail, it hurt really bad when she sprayed the nails with alcohol (got a gel mani). That's when I noticed it. I can't believe how fast and rough she was. I will never have them take off my gel polish again either because she didn't let them soak long enough in the foil and was basically chiseling the polish off and ruined my real nails. They were busy but that doesn't excuse this. I will not be coming back to World Star nails. Don't let Vicky do peoples nails!! I also noticed I am not the first person to write a painful review about her services. This is unfortunate. read more

Went here three time (too many). I have been going to the same nail shop which is about 30 min away for about 15 years but after having 2 babies I was looking for something much closer. I chose here. The first time I got The dip powder. It was alright. The color was uneven and the application looked like I did it myself. A week later I was back (& with a cracked nail that happened only 3 days after I got them done) A man named Leo took care of me and hooked my nails up! So I figured I'd give the place another chance....bad idea..... third time was two days ago...I walked in and the manager was doing something in the lobby and asked what I wanted. without even looking up at me she points and tells me to chose a color. Fine I did then waited several minutes before a tech Came. She seemed like she didn't want to do my nails and her and the manager started talking back and forth in their language. She then began aggressively drilling my nails and I knew this was not gonna be good. I was looking down at my phone and all of the sudden she just starts cutting all my nails off! I snatched my hand away and asked what she was doing! I only wanted a fill! Had the manager paid attention when I was telling her what I wanted the tech maybe wouldn't have butchered my nails....her and the manager continued to go back and forth in their language and she comes back over snatches my hand and continues to drill. She kept clipping me with the drill and I started to look for someone else to do my nails and at this very moment she has clipped me again only this time she cut me and herself. She then gives me this death glare like it was my fault. She gets up cleans her finger while mine is partially bleeding and comes back and puts some tips on the nails she chopped off she has an attitude the whole time and finally the manager comes and does my nails. She is nice but she never acknowledges ANY of the tech's mistakes nor do I get any type of apology. Even tho I informed her this was my third time here & 2 of them I have been very unhappy. The whole time she keeps getting up and it's taking even longer for my nails to get done! At this point I'm highly irritated and on the verge on snapping. She finally finishes and they look nice and all but that whole experience was enough for me. This place isn't inviting, they have poor customer service skills, and they really need to figure out if this staff can even work together successfully. I am pretty sure I will never come back nor would I recommend it to the several people I know who do get their nails done. I would tell them a few other places before I ever recommend here. read more
