Hardwood Palace is a basketball center for youth league basketball…read more Now I DO NOT like giving bad reviews to a place that's trying pretty hard, so here is my honest review. PROS * Staff is REALLY friendly. You may even run into Harold Pressley (former Kings player) on some game nights. * Snack bar has some good food for a decent price. CONS * Let's start with the elephant in the room. Parking. Parking on game nights is a NIGHTMARE. First off, Hardwood Palace, shares a court in an industrial complex with another basketball facility and SkyZone trampoline center. Traffic on Friday nights has been as bad as it's taken almost 20 min to get down the short Tinker Rd. that has no alternative exit that connects it to the main drag. I've spent at least 20 min trying to get out when the game is over. * Refs. The refs are pretty much like any sport and always considered a con. Some nights they're good, but most, REALLY bad. For the league nights, the games are nothing but a ball-grab, jump ball fest. * Door Charges. On tournament/all-star game nights, they charge non-coaches and non-players to get in. They already charge a lot of money for these kids to play in this league, just seems like an unnecessary cash grab. * Schedule for games. Having a starting game time before or at 5pm is ridiculous for any working class individual's whose children play in the league. While I am glad they are around and that my kids love playing for the league is the reason they are getting a soft 3 stars from me.

Place is a complete dump. Take your money elsewhere. The other low rating reviews are 100%…read moreaccurate. If you enjoy mold, dangling ceiling insulation, a beyond broken air conditioning, trash everywhere, a cluster of a parking lot, then this place is for you!!!!! Throw your 250$ towards buying hoops for your neighborhood and give the kids a better experience. Flea Market Palace is embarrassing.

InShape Fitness -- Rocklin (Warren) Early Morning Review…read more 4am and early‑morning workouts at the Rocklin location off Warren are unbeatable. The gym isn't overly busy at that hour, which makes it easy to access equipment and move through your routine without waiting around. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and consistent, even at those pre‑sunrise hours. The whole environment feels clean, calm, and focused -- the perfect way to start the day strong. If you're an early riser or someone who likes a quiet, efficient workout, this location delivers every time.

I have been a customer at In-Shape for the past four years and have regularly used the soccer…read morefacilities without issue. Unfortunately, my experience last night 02/27/2026 was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. For context, this facility has two soccer fields: one requires check-in for league play, and the other can be privately booked, which does not require check-in. My group had booked the smaller field for the evening, as we have done many times before. As I entered the facility, an employee named Isabelle stopped me by whistling at me from a distance. I found this extremely disrespectful and demeaning, as it felt as though I was being called over like an animal rather than addressed as a paying customer. In my four years coming here, no employee has ever treated me this way. When I approached, she spoke to me in a harsh and aggressive tone, asking, "What are you doing here? Where are you going? What's your name?" I calmly explained that I was there to play on the smaller field and that check-in was not required because it was not league play. She interrupted me, raised her voice, and began walking toward me in an intimidating manner, insisting that I could not go to the field without checking in. When I asked for her name, she refused to provide it and continued demanding my name in an aggressive tone. I later saw her name tag and noted it myself. Even after a front desk employee confirmed my identity to her, she continued questioning me and even referred to me as "little boy," which was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Shortly after, she and another employee approached my teammates on the field and spoke to them in the same rude and disrespectful manner, insisting we needed to check in despite the field being privately booked. By that point, my entire group felt uncomfortable and offended by the way we were being treated. I do want to note that the other employee, Bladea, later apologized to me and my friend when Isabelle was not around, which I appreciated. However, the overall experience was still very upsetting and should never happen to customers. As a long-time customer who brings consistent business to this facility, I expect to be treated with basic respect and professionalism. There is a difference between enforcing policies and speaking to customers in a hostile, demeaning way. This experience left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome. I strongly encourage management at In-Shape Health Clubs to address this matter and provide additional customer service training so no other customers are treated in this manner.

If you have kids, it's family-friendly and is a great place for everybody to have fun. It's gaming-centered but they have more than just PCs. The private rooms are a bit pricey but very reasonable considering the availability. This would've been a cool place for a birthday party when I was a kid The only disadvantage is that their chairs do hurt your back after a little while but I had visited over a year ago so it may be different now. On Apple Maps they are "Temporarily Closed" upon writing this but hopefully they open soon. Thanks FireUp!
