Very nice and would stay here again. Got a 2 bedroom suite and was pleasantly surprised. Has everything you need. Beds are very comfortable, quiet grounds and security made the stay safe. See pictures attached...

The check-in process was great. I arrived closed to midnight, so there no wait. The concierge desk was closed at the time, so I have to come back in the morning to get the parking pass. The living room area has no ants crawling on the wall this time. The resort has a miniature golf, table tennis, pool, spa, game area for the kids, gym and small office area. I like staying here everytime I came to Anaheim, Southern California area.

This resort is not managed by WorldMark I thought it was! Anyway, during our stay the property was undergoing property-wide refurbishment and work crews can be seen working. We left the place early enough each day that we did not experience noise, dust, or odors during that time. The first time we stayed in this location we didn't have to go deep inside the property to get to our unit, our room was right by the entrance by the registration office. This second time that we booked here the property had features of an apartment that they have refurbished, not like the WorldMark resorts we've been used to staying in. There are no washer/dryer in the unit. Instead they have complimentary laundry facilities available for guest use. There are no elevators in the buildings but we had a ground floor 1-bedroom unit during our stay. Our unit was clean and presentable but it looked unfinished. I mean, the dining table looked pushed in one corner, no room for the bench seating unless we moved the table. Some hardware in the bathroom were not completely installed. Saw a baby cockroach in the bathroom. Eeek! There is a Disneyland shuttle that runs every 20 mins from 9:00a until 30-mins after the park closes. There is a small fee for this service. This location is a little closer to Disneyland than WorldMark Anaheim. Review #0734 updated

Our first time here and it was almost flawless!! The staff is AMAZING!! Helen and Neil were the stars of the show going above and beyond and showing the definition of customer service!! All of the staff was great, one of them even gave one of her own feminine products to my daughter since we did not pack any and the stores were closed. Any request they also call to follow up to confirm it was completed. The Location is PERFECT!! Two turns away from Disney park parking and surrounded by anything you need or want!! We LOVED they they offered free laundry and two hot tubs!! My only critique would be for a six person room there should be two bathrooms. This made it tough on the late return nights from the park. Otherwise our stay would have been FLAWLESS!!

Had a great 3 night stay here at Labor Day weekend 2022. A/c worked great during the California heat wave. Pool was refreshing as well. The room, kitchen area and living room are all nicely appointed and we didn't have any issues during our stay. Laundry room opened promptly at 8am and was neat and clean. Walking distance to Disney , Walgreens cvs and many restaurants. We were registered guests of the time share owners and luckily were not pressured into any sales breakfasts. I'd definitely stay here again. Perfectly quiet every night and easy parking.

This isn't the nicest timeshare in Anaheim, but we were lucky to score an open reservation during the Veteran's day holiday. Location - many businesses in close proximity (target, Roscoe's, CVS, gas stations, liquor store, and some fast food spots. Disneyland - about a 15-20 minute walk Freeways - easily accessible Pool & hot tub - decent size but can get very crowded, especially when someone is having their kid's birthday party at the pool Elevator - none but two floors Cleanliness - not the best, which is the biggest reason I wrote this review. We woke up with a ton of bug bites! Spoke to the manager & advised they should do a thorough cleaning after we check out. The manager asked to see my bites because if it was bed bugs, she wanted to tell me how to care for the bites. Once I showed her, she insisted they could be flea bites. We ended up cutting our trip short. Mind you, this is supposed to be a resort where only service animals are allowed. Also, they went through a huge remodel recently, but it looks as if they painted over the dirt. I'm glad they removed the carpet though! So just beware, might be worth it to bring your own sheets or ask for new ones upon arrival; it's not guaranteed they changed them!

From the…read moremoment you walk into the stunning lobby, you're surrounded by beautiful Craftsman-style architecture, soaring ceilings, warm wood details, and an atmosphere that feels both luxurious and welcoming. The rooms are immaculate, and the entire property is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The grounds are gorgeous, the staff is consistently friendly and helpful, and every part of the hotel feels thoughtfully designed. One of my favorite things to do is simply relax in the lobby by the fireplace and listen to the piano player. The ambiance is incredible and makes it easy to slow down and enjoy the moment. The pools are beautiful, clean, and comfortably warm year-round. The waterslide is a lot of fun, and the pool area is a great place to relax after a long day in the parks. Craftsman Grill is another highlight. The food and drinks are consistently delicious, and I love trying the seasonal specialties whenever we visit. And if you only take one food recommendation from this review, make it the arugula pizza. It is SOOOOOOOOO good and something I look forward to every trip. Of course, one of the biggest perks is the location. Having a private entrance directly into California Adventure is incredibly convenient, and you're just a short walk from Disneyland as well. Being able to return to the hotel in the middle of the day to rest, enjoy the pool, grab a meal, or simply recharge before heading back into the parks is absolutely unbeatable. The Grand Californian perfectly captures the magic of staying in the Disney bubble. Once you're there, you never really have to leave the Disney experience, and that convenience adds so much to a vacation. Between the beautiful atmosphere, exceptional staff, immaculate rooms, fantastic dining, gorgeous pools, and unbeatable proximity to both parks, the Grand Californian remains one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. All that said...it is VERY expensive Sso its definitely a once in a while splurge.

My only criticism was that I would have preferred the sink being in the restroom with the toilet and shower rather than outside the sliding door.

The…read morecheck in process was easy and we got a ton of great information, and some souvenir buttons for our first time (and another one for my birthday!). The room itself- for the price - was really plain, we thought. But it was really clean and the best part was the direct access to the pool terrace! Our toddler had a great time at Dug's Dance Party! We were also just steps away from where we could watch the fireworks at night - so that was great! As for the not so great, the pool area was a big letdown. The actual pool was tiny for a hotel this size. It was packed and there were no chairs available either. There was a cute offering for toddlers called Nemo's cove, but again, really small and absolutely packed. And also located right by a slide that looked so much fun for our 3 year old who was repeatedly heartbroken we kept having to tell him he couldn't go down it, or play in the water at the bottom of it either. The splash pad was nothing like what I would have expected from Disney either, just a few sprinkler fountain type things. No wading area, or bucket that dumps, or water wheels, or anything else we have grown accustomed to seeing at places that cater to kids. This could really use upgrading and more chairs. Definitely wasn't the way we had wanted to spend the afternoon relaxing while he played and we had a drink or two, but it COULD have been, which makes it disappointing! And lastly - the elevator situation. Wow. Up until this visit, I had never in my life spent more time waiting for elevators. They were full, they were slow, there were lines...it was horrible trying to entertain a 3 year old who didn't understand what we were doing just standing there. And, let's be honest, no fun for the adults either! Definitely there needs to be more of them, and faster ones, for a hotel this size. The last two issues were more minor, but still worth considering: 1) no valet parking, and 2) the club lounge has soda but no bottled water, and they close at 8pm without access later for drinks. Summary: we are very glad we went and experienced it, but next time we will pick somewhere else to stay. This is the most money we have ever paid for a hotel, and we have stayed at VERY nice properties, so when you spend a certain amount of money there are just things you kind of expect from it and this wasn't quite there. We learned what you really are paying for, is the location!

The percentage of negative reviews is probably not a blip on the great scheme of things. People always writes reviews when something negative happens but when things go right majority of people dont. You go here and expect madness. Kids everywhere, crowds, etc. You want tranquil all to yourself feel and vibes, go vacation to a remote island somewhere. This is for the kids. Plenty of things to do. The water slides are enough to keep kids having fun for a while. For added fees there are other optional activities but seems more geared toward younger kids. so why 4 out of 5 stars? Because I've been to the one in northern california (manteca). This property seems older. More crowded, and just doesnt have the same lodge vibes. There simply isnt the same WOW factor as the Manteca location. There is no parking garage in Manteca but instead a vast land of parking spaces. So the Lodge just commands attention and shows you are about to enter something grand. Here they use a parking structure and although efficient it just doesnt give of same vibes. The "Grand Lobby" here is also just meh. The area and space seems so fragmented and doesnt have a good flow. The manteca location is structured so well. You walk in from the main entrance and you are really in a Grand Lobby with the towering fireplace. Here its off to the side and now filled with arcade games. That fireplace is usually the photo spot for families in Manteca. Here you really dont have that. People have said the waterpark itself is better here. If it is, I didn't notice it too much. It isn't that much better to really matter. The wave pool here definitely is stronger which is very cool. But the lazy river, and everything else seems on par. I believe they have an extra attraction with the surf/wake board simulator. So IMO, the Manteca location is better overall. But this is a much better location being in SoCal with lots of other things to do here. While Manteca is basically nothing but Great Wolf Lodge.

Details below. -parking was easy. -room check in at the kiosk was easy. -the kiosk printed our wristbands out. -I got a text with our room number about 30 min later (I would have preferred no wait, but it was the busy check in time). -we went to dinner at BJs down the road, no wait, very good 2 family dinner. Great M-F deals. -my kids did the high ropes course and liked it. We hit the arcade for about 15 minutes, they didn't really like it (but it's under construction, they were moving machines up into the lobby). -I brought chocolate croissants and muffins, we ate bfast in the room. The rooms have large mini fridges, there's a small microwave where the ice machines are on each floor, there's a good enough weird coffee machine in each room. -we loaded our regular bags into the car, checked out of our of the room at 9:40, got into the line for the pool. -got plenty of chairs together for the adults. -my advice: you do not needs chairs for each kid, especially older kids. They stop by, sit, and bounce. Most people eat at the tables, there are signs that people can only sit at tables for 30 min, we never had a problem eating at tables (it's so much easier). Don't waste a bunch of chairs on kids who never use them.... -the bar drinks at the pool were very very good. the Bloody Mary was the best one I've ever had. Yep. We had a mango pineapple rum drink that was so good, not too sweet at all. -every staff member we encountered was on point, very helpful and kind. -I charged everything using my wristband, very easy. CONS: -I've been several times. In my option, the pizza place is the only food worth getting when you are at the pool. The Bucket food place in the pool area is just not good, it's very cafeteria and expensive. -I saw about 15 people slip and fall, mostly near the life jacket stand outside the wave pool. Like full on hard falls. An employee has a floor squeegee, but it's pretty useless. Even people walking slipped. -the headboards in the renovated rooms are pretty bad and dangerous. They have posts spaced out like 5 inches that have right-edge corners, so, sharp. And the pillows are not enough and not fluffy. When you lean back, your head slams into those pillar posts. My daughter's head went right between two posts so she hit both sides of her head on the posts. I hit my head too. Who the hell thought that was a great design? After that issue, I noticed all the hard corners on everything in the room. My kids are older now, but parents or younger kids, take note.

Our family had an amazing time at Disneyland, but unfortunately our hotel experience fell well…read moreshort of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the experience was frustrating. The front desk staff had difficulty locating our original reservation, which created unnecessary stress after a long day of travel. At one point, we were nearly charged for an additional week's stay because of the confusion. Although the issue was eventually corrected, it left us questioning the hotel's reservation process. Before our trip ended, we decided to book an additional night so we could enjoy one more day at Disneyland. Despite extending our stay, we were told we had to move to a different room rather than remain in our existing one. This meant packing up all of our belongings and moving everything--including luggage, strollers, and our children's items--in the middle of our vacation. While we understand room availability can sometimes require this, the process was handled with very little effort to make it easier for our family. Unfortunately, that wasn't the end of it. On multiple occasions, we called the front desk to request luggage assistance, only for our requests to be forgotten or never fulfilled. We either had to call back or ultimately move everything ourselves, which was especially difficult while traveling with two young children. Throughout our stay, customer service was consistently disappointing. The front desk often came across as unfriendly and unwelcoming, and it frequently felt like our requests were more of an inconvenience than an opportunity to provide good service. Our biggest disappointment came on our final day. We requested a short extension to our checkout time, fully understanding that late checkouts are never guaranteed. However, the request was met with little empathy or effort to accommodate us. A courteous explanation or even an attempt to help would have gone a long way, but instead we were simply told no, leaving us feeling like guest satisfaction wasn't a priority. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and conveniently located near Disneyland, but exceptional hospitality is what separates a good hotel from a great one. Unfortunately, the repeated service issues, poor communication, and lack of hospitality overshadowed what should have been a memorable family vacation. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and invests in improving the guest experience so future visitors receive the level of service expected from a hotel of this caliber.

They allowed us to park early and enjoy the parks until room was ready. We also lucked out with being able to have our room ready earlier than expected. Text message notification made it nice for updates. Also, if you door dash, they hold it in the lobby for you, which is really nice and convenient! On another note, they don't allow visitors to park on the property since they make guests a priority and do not allow visitors to access the pool. We were staying multiple days and had family that wanted to come visit us at the hotel, but we had to adjust our plans! So, we didn't make it to the pool like we had originally planned. I definitely give it a 4/5, because we didn't experience the pool and couldn't pay for the second vehicle, but we would stay here again since it is close to the parks and is a nice and safe walk across the street.

We had a fantastic stay at The Viv Anaheim! From the moment we walked in, it felt more like a…read moreresort than your typical Anaheim hotel. The property is clean, the ambiance is beautiful, and the staff provided great service throughout our stay. I loved that they offer amenities like valet, bell service, pool service, and room service, yet the prices are still very reasonable. There was also plenty of secure parking, which gave us extra peace of mind. The hotel is located next to the freeway, so I was a little concerned about noise. However, I was pleasantly surprised that I couldn't hear it at all from our room. You do notice some freeway noise at the pool, but they play music that helps minimize it, and it didn't take away from the experience. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely return. Highly recommend!

I was disappointed with my recent stay at The Viv Hotel. Compared to my previous visit, the overall…read morecustomer service and property maintenance have noticeably declined. One of the main automatic doors on the lobby level leading to the pool area was not functioning properly, which should have been addressed for both convenience and guest safety. In addition, we called the front desk in the morning to request clean towels, but no one answered after multiple attempts, which was frustrating and not what I expect from a hotel of this caliber. The pool area was also extremely overcrowded, making it difficult to relax and enjoy the amenities. While I understand holiday weekends can be busy, better crowd management would have significantly improved the guest experience. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet the standards I experienced during my previous visit. Unless there are noticeable improvements in customer service and property maintenance, this will likely be my last stay at this location.

First off the location is great for the parks, it's a doable walk when your feet are still fresh but if you're too tired they have their cute little trolley that drops you off and picks you up from the parks once an hour. It's a very quiet hotel, i've never had any noise issues staying there. The rooms are always clean and the beds are super comfy. Another plus is the A/C's always work great and since they renovated they're in the ceiling so it cools a lot more evenly. They've got a pool and hot tub plus a small wading pool for the little tykes! They've really stepped up their continental breakfast as well. Lots of choices and great things to grab for snacks later inside the park. The staff is always phenomenal and friendly. From front desk, to maids, to groundskeepers and security guards everyone smiles and greets you when walking by. We like a specific area of the hotel and they almost always honor that and are very personable. The price is pretty comparable to other ones in the surrounding area when you factor in parking fees for them. My family is usually willing to pay a little extra for that Candy Cane Inn charm. More affordable than any Disney branded hotel but still that great Disney level customer service.
