Was in the area for a medical procedure and wanted to stay in the area for a week afterwards. Mobility units were not available at the time of booking. We called the office and explained the situation and they were willing to work with us, at least to get a downstairs unit because there are no elevators in this resort. We eventually got a downstairs mobility unit and we were really appreciative of the staff who were so supportive and accommodating. Although this resort is kinda dated, this mobility unit was very nice and well thought out. The bathroom, kitchen, dining table, etc. were designed with a person in wheelchair in mind. The front porch was really close to the three handicap parking spaces for this building. And there is a beautiful courtyard with miniature golf available. I did not have a chance to check out the swimming pool area. This resort is also close to Disneyland and not far from a lot of different restaurants. With the friendly and accommodating staff, I think they deserve five stars. read more

Brown roaches found in kitchen and bedroom . As soon as we turned on light we saw roaches in kitchen We end up leaving and had to find another hotel despite this was paid for months in advance . cockroaches are known to spread 33 kinds of bacteria and where there are a few there are tons more hiding . For the price we pay for monthly maintenance fees this resort should not have this problem . Should have known since we saw the jumbo roaches all over the landscape . Wonder if they disclose their cockroach problem when they have their pushy presentation to get you to sign up or buy more points . read more

Like most timeshare companies, they aggressively, I attack you on trying to sell you their timeshare. We listened because we had a destination already planned in hawaii. Christopher misled us to believe that we would be able to go on our hawaiian vacation. We signed up for a trial membership for 2 years, and we cannot use that trial membership for hawaii. Try to get ahold of them to fix this. And he just directed us to some Other company that was going to charge us almost as much as it was.If we went directly to hawaii ourselves. Terrible sales tactic, and now we're stuck with a monthly payment of 337 for a membership. We cannot use for what we wanted to use it for. Be careful at dealing with this company. Not ADA accessible. Unless you "notify" them in advance. But that doesn't guarantee compliance. (Last I checked, the ADA was federal law.) Staff was not compassionate at all and reminded me that when originally asked if I needed help with with luggage and our Sams club groceries, and I had "declined." So as a single mom, the kids stepped up and brought all of the groceries up the stairs in multiple trips. Definitely see why this property is available all of the time. read more

Old and outdated. Smell of mold. Shower had to be fixed before we even used. There were these tiny black flys in bathroom. Two TVs and only one remote the other didn't work. One side of our 1 bedroom faced a row of cars and a concrete wall. Dumpsters on that side as well so you hear trash dumping and removal early morning every morning as well as cars coming and going. Actually left and went to a hotel and still paid for unit as it was a timeshare. That's how bad it was! IF YOU WANT TO TRY FOR SOME REASON DO NOT PAY UNTIL YOU PHYSICALLY SEE THE ROOM YOU WILL BE IN !!! read more

Just left the worldmark dolphins cove, my son said I want to stay here forever. Just to give a picture of how the stay went. The room we stayed in was one bedroom with a pull out couch and a full kitchen. The bathroom had my daughter in love prefect for doing her makeup. The dolphin theme and variety of different plants and trees made the walk to the room feel like we were entering different world setting us up for leaving our cares behind and start relaxing. I reviewed 4 out of 5 not because I didn't enjoy everything but due to the fact that I didn't get a chance to review the pool,the laundry, or a couple amenities. We stayed one night with a large group and left a bag behind when heading to the airport. After calling the front desk multiple times, we were told that housekeeping is a separate contracted service. We were originally advised to contact housekeeping directly (as they were said to be available before 5pm each day) but each call after the first inquiry resulted in the Dolphin Cove staff would not allowing us to speak with them, despite that initial guidance. We filed a police report for items valued well over a thousand dollars (medications, colognes, jewelry, and other valuable belongings). The lack of clear coordination between the hotel and the contracted housekeeping services, plus the hotel's restriction on contacting the contractor, led to a frustrating and unresolved outcome. For future stays, it would help to have a clear, guest-facing policy with direct contact information for the housekeeping contractor, and a more seamless process for recovering left-behind items. Needless to say we no longer trust our items being out of our sight if we would ever consider staying with Worldmarks Dolphin Cove considering the lack of accountably and communication proven by this indecent. read more

The check-in process was great. I arrived closed to midnight, so there no wait. The concierge desk was closed at the time, so I have to come back in the morning to get the parking pass. The living room area has no ants crawling on the wall this time. The resort has a miniature golf, table tennis, pool, spa, game area for the kids, gym and small office area. This resort is not managed by WorldMark I thought it was! Anyway, during our stay the property was undergoing property-wide refurbishment and work crews can be seen working. We left the place early enough each day that we did not experience noise, dust, or odors during that time. The first time we stayed in this location we didn't have to go deep inside the property to get to our unit, our room was right by the entrance by the registration office. This second time that we booked here the property had features of an apartment that they have refurbished, not like the WorldMark resorts we've been used to staying in. There are no washer/dryer in the unit. Instead they have complimentary laundry facilities available for guest use. There are no elevators in the buildings but we had a ground floor 1-bedroom unit during our stay. Our unit was clean and presentable but it looked unfinished. I mean, the dining table looked pushed in one corner, no room for the bench seating unless we moved the table. Some hardware in the bathroom were not completely installed. Saw a baby cockroach in the bathroom. Eeek! There is a Disneyland shuttle that runs every 20 mins from 9:00a until 30-mins after the park closes. There is a small fee for this service. This WorldMark is in the middle of a city. We ran a 5k nearby. There is a kitchen and 2 bedrooms. There is 1 primary bedroom and a bedroom with twin beds. There are 2 bathrooms. This is a nice place for family weekend getaways. read more

Our first time here and it was almost flawless!! The staff is AMAZING!! Helen and Neil were the stars of the show going above and beyond and showing the definition of customer service!! All of the staff was great, one of them even gave one of her own feminine products to my daughter since we did not pack any and the stores were closed. Any request they also call to follow up to confirm it was completed. The Location is PERFECT!! Two turns away from Disney park parking and surrounded by anything you need or want!! We LOVED they they offered free laundry and two hot tubs!! My only critique would be for a six person room there should be two bathrooms. This made it tough on the late return nights from the park. We love DOLPHIN'S COVE The staff are super welcoming and friendly The rooms are clean, aesthetic as well as logistically functional as well as practical, no huge frills, but also not lacking any amenities either. The on campus mini-golf course is great entertainment for kids of all ages and adults, as is the nice swimming pool. I'd say this is a very safe, clean and lovely place to reside and would recommend the accommodations. Parking is nice and easy, it's striped spaciously, not tight. It's location is in proximity to the Convention Center and Disneyland for convenience as well as a lot of restaurants in the area to explore, walking and driving distances alike. read more

Had a great 3 night stay here at Labor Day weekend 2022. A/c worked great during the California heat wave. Pool was refreshing as well. The room, kitchen area and living room are all nicely appointed and we didn't have any issues during our stay. Laundry room opened promptly at 8am and was neat and clean. Walking distance to Disney , Walgreens cvs and many restaurants. We were registered guests of the time share owners and luckily were not pressured into any sales breakfasts. This was our first time staying here, I've had this resort bookmarked for a while now and have been looking forward to our stay -- it was honestly better than expected! Staff was attentive, very courteous, and accommodating. We asked if we could check-in early due to arriving a few hours earlier than our flight, and although they were fully booked, they managed to get us in 30 minutes before regular check-in. When waiting for our room as well, they held our luggages for us with no problem while we went to go get something to eat. Upon entering the room, my boyfriend and I were able to tell it was cleaned very well! It was also quiet throughout the day and at night -- the walls aren't thin at all. Bed was pretty comfortable, and we were able to watch the Superbowl in our room which was cool :) The bathroom had a non-slip shower mat, extra towels, and extra toilet paper under the sink, and even a small bottle of mouthwash next to the faucet. If you forgot to pack shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, they have aromatherapy pump bottles of each against the shower wall! I thought that was really neat. We didn't really put the kitchen to much use since we stayed for only 2 nights, but it was nice to have just in case. Everything functioned fine, the heater, lamp (which has a working outlet and a USB charging port!!), wall outlets, ceiling fan, etc. Before we left, I noticed that they had a Scrub Daddy below the kitchen sink along with some dish soap to use, love that! Our only complaints (that aren't really a big deal): 1. It took a long time for hot water to run through the sinks and the shower, of course this wasn't too bothersome. 2. The shower head is a bit small and the water pressure isn't the best, but manageable! 3. As this is a timeshare resort we had a couple people attempt their sales pitches, and we honestly just wanted to get to our room lol. But since we don't meet the age requirement they didn't keep on. They were very hospitable though! As for the pools, my boyfriend and I didn't go in ourselves, but we noticed that the two jacuzzis and the main pool looked clean and well-maintained. I really liked the chairs and tables around the area too, we were able to relax a bit while waiting for our room. A map is provided for the room numbers, ice and vending machines you can find around the complex, on-site laundry, etc. The hotel is only a little over a mile away from Disneyland, and there are lots of food places (walking distance!) in the area as well. Lyft rides to Disneyland and back were around $8 each! Super convenient location and I'm looking forward to booking another stay here again in the future. read more

Location - many businesses in close proximity (target, Roscoe's, CVS, gas stations, liquor store, and some fast food spots. Disneyland - about a 15-20 minute walk Freeways - easily accessible Pool & hot tub - decent size but can get very crowded, especially when someone is having their kid's birthday party at the pool Elevator - none but two floors Cleanliness - not the best, which is the biggest reason I wrote this review. We woke up with a ton of bug bites! Spoke to the manager & advised they should do a thorough cleaning after we check out. The manager asked to see my bites because if it was bed bugs, she wanted to tell me how to care for the bites. Once I showed her, she insisted they could be flea bites. We ended up cutting our trip short. Mind you, this is supposed to be a resort where only service animals are allowed. Also, they went through a huge remodel recently, but it looks as if they painted over the dirt. I'm glad they removed the carpet though! So just beware, might be worth it to bring your own sheets or ask for new ones upon arrival; it's not guaranteed they changed them! read more

I stayed here back in late May for the Star Wars Celebration. It would appear that this resort was just recently updated as I've only seen pictures with older looking furniture prior to my stay. The guy that checked me into my unit was very nice and friendly. I found everything in my unit to be very clean and in good working condition. The location was very convenient. There were plenty of nearby restaurant options. If you want to do some cooking, there are a couple of super markets not too far away. I was able to walk to everywhere I needed to go. read more

When we got here, after checking in, we drove around ans saw all these construction debris and trash bins On the side as if the place was under construction. I remember how this place looked and felt like an apartment back then when we were here about maybe 2-3 years ago. This place I guess is going Through a face lift. Our place was Just "okay". Furniture was pretty much bare but that really don't bother me since we have tours abs places to go, we Don't intend to hang around. Anyway, the floors looked like it was just replace. Nice floor, but was not properly cleaned. I think they replaced from carpet to vinyl. The bathroom was clean and is okay but the lights was located behind the door by the Circuit breaker. There was a back door that looked like it use to be an old Sliding door. The back (everyone's backyard) was open and the construction and Maintenance people were still working on the decor and it looks like a miniature golf.... Pretty original and cute. I guess I can update this review once this place is done and give it a better rating. read more

I wanted a place near Disneyland with a full kitchen and this fit the bill. Because of snow and illness back home we had to delay our flight. The property was fully booked so I was grateful that they held our room for us (paid of course) for 2 days. It's a simple Wyndham condo with basic amenities including a pool, coffee in the little lobby, clubhouse and a little game room with paid games. We did the kids holiday crafts which was nice, and I saw they had a complimentary wine tasting the next afternoon. Dennys is right next door if you don't feel like making breakfast. We had a nice stay, it was everything we needed and a good value. Be aware that while they will have extra blankets, towels and ground coffee available this is not a full-service hotel with daily housekeeping. We didn't mind as the property was everything we needed. The staff were warm, the check-in and check-out was easy. Disney is a 15-20 min walk, we used a $7-8 Uber as we were on a bit of a time crunch. I would stay again. read more

I've never stayed at a timeshare before. We were gifted this opportunity because there was a family friend that had points at the location I have to say upon first inspection the area is clean. Appeared to be well secured, but is quite far from the park- which I assume is the Amin reason that all of these people are staying here. We were in the second floor and our room overlooked the pool. It wasn't an issue since they had Tina's that people were and were not allowed in the facility. It was interesting to me that there were no elevator services because this was clearly a retrofitted apartment complex. I imagine with all the money that they bring in it shouldn't be a hard sell. After staying here a couple days I was not very impressed with the amenities, or "room service" we were told that we should take our towels to the laundry and do them, and it didn't make much sense. I've never don't that at any other hotel. Why would I do it at this one? There were a few nights that we came back to the place and the walk in gate to the car port was not locked or even closed. Makes me wonder how safe it actually is. Doesn't look like anything had been disturbed but we also took everything out of our rental car every night anyway. Nevertheless I would venture to say budget friendly but far from the park if that's where you're going. read more

The staff was outstanding! They would take out our trash when we would put it outside if our door so we could take it on our next trip out. They bring our request for more towels, Tp ECT ASAP, and they did a great job with the Covid rules! They made reservations for the bbq, laundry room, and bbq. The grounds are very clean and well kept. The location is great if you are visiting Disneyland or the garden grove. It's not the safest area so I wouldn't go out walking around. There's also no beach within 40 minutes of the Inn. read more

The overall general appearance of this place seems great, but there's too many things to list that were not up to par. The floors in our 2 bed room kitchenette left our feet black like it's never been sanitized, the head boards on the beds had dried splashes of something all over them, there was a huge spider inside the shower curtain, moldy ceilings in the showers. Family hotel with nice pool and mini golf course. Large three bedroom hotel but on my last night we found multiple cockroaches roaming around our hotel room. They were in the walls and in our bathrooms and bedrooms. Also, we there were lots of large spiders and the floors were disgusting. We had to mop and wipe the floors down and it wasn't pleasant. But, there is a gym, game room (with broken and empty machines you had to pay for), a laundry facility, and no elevators so it isn't accessible. Would not recommend. Rooms are not soundproof at all and people are constantly firing fireworks outside, and they aren't the Disney fireworks. read more

Late Feb 2018 we took a vacation to California to visit Disneyland and we stayed in a 3 bedroom timeshare at Dolphin Cove for 6 days. It is a gated timeshare resort with lots of parking and beautiful grounds. The downside of our particular stay was just timing I guess. At that time there were renovations happening to parts of the area on the property. I believe it might have been the pool and recreation. Which is understandable since it's still winter season and not great weather to be swimming and lounging outdoors anyways. Still would've been nice to check out just for fun. The 3 bedroom timeshare we had was very spacious and had everything we needed within. One room for the boys (2 full beds), a room for the girls (1 queen), and master for mum (1 king). Living room was quite large with a sleeper couch, a loveseat, and a couple of side chairs. We even had a balcony to lounge out on (too cold for our tropical buns tho). Each room had it's own window a/c unit, tv, alarm clocks, lamps, drawers and closets for storage. 2 full bathrooms with everything we needed (towels, washcloths, soaps, shamp/cond, lotion). There was also a hairdryer and a standing tower fan which came in handy for drying off our drenched items from our first night walking around Disneyland. The kitchen really came in handy for us to save a bit from eating out so much! We visited the neighborhood walmart nearby and stocked up the fridge with breakfast foods and random snacks we needed for the duration of our vacation. There's a full size fridge, stove/oven, microwave, 4 slice toaster, coffee maker and dishwasher. All dishware and utensils, even cookware were stored in all the cupboards. Lots of counterspace and even a little bar area with stools to host near the entryway. For our nights spent indoors there was a large round dinner table that seated all 6 of us comfortably. Although we didn't spend lots of time indoors, for what we needed, it was the perfect place for us. Because it is a timeshare property, there isn't daily turn down service. You can take out your own trash across the parking lot, or leave it for the cleaners that come once a week. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. If I had the chance again I would definitely stay for our next California vacation. It was within perfect distance to Disneyland (about 2-3 blocks away, easily walkable). We could literally see the toy story parking lot over the wall from our bedroom, that close! It's conveniently placed near so many restaurants, mini marts and stores. So grateful to my mum for opening up her timeshare to host us on our first family Disneyland vacation! Highly recommend this property if you ever have the chance to stay. read more

There is no elevator (I am not lazy by any means, but having a double stroller + heavy suitcases and food, it becomes tiring). And there was mold on our window and the curtains (posting picture). I am very picky about hotels. Although this place isn't fancy we still absolutely loved it. We have stayed here twice for a week each time. The rooms are clean, comfortable and having a kitchen with a family is awesome. They maintain their grounds wonderfully, the landscaping is pretty, the pool and jacuzzi are very clean! There is a game/entertainment room that is fun for the kids. The staff is very kind and quick to help with anything. Both times we were here was close to St. Patrick's Day and they had a Resort scavenger hunt for the kids where they got a bag of chocolate coins at the end. Disneyland/California Adventure are a block away, Newport and Laguna Beach are about 20 minutes away. Great place at a great value and a I highly recommend it. read more

Booked this hotel through Booking.com 5 months ago. Called the hotel directly to reconfirm a month ago. Flew across the country only to be told that my reservation was canceled. They blamed it on booking.com. Booking.com still said that my reservation was good and didn't understand why they wouldn't honor our reservation and said that they had done this to multiple reservations. Dolphins cove charge my credit card and refuses to refund the charges until I disputed the charges with the credit card company. Do not waist your time, money, energy, and most of all vacation on this place. Yes it looks great online and seems to be a good price for being close to Disneyland. It truly is to good to be true. Run, run far from this sh!t show. read more
