For the past two days, I had the absolute joy of celebrating my 39th birthday at the beautiful WorldMark St. George, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. This was my family's first time ever visiting Utah, and from the moment we walked through the doors, we were completely blown away. Jason and Denae greeted us so warmly and genuinely--it instantly felt like we were being welcomed by family. We didn't just feel like guests; we felt like we truly mattered. To say this trip exceeded our expectations would be a huge understatement. Every detail was thoughtful, and the resort itself is absolutely breathtaking--unlike anywhere we've ever stayed before. I also have to give a special thank-you to Nicole, who was incredibly kind and helpful, taking the time to share amazing things to do and see in Utah. This trip was, without question, the best birthday I have ever had, and it created memories my family and I will cherish forever. You are close to one of Utah's Mighty Five in St George... First time in this WorldMark location. We've booked for the Labor Day weekend but were only able to stay at the latter two days because of conflicting schedule. We were given a unit on the ground floor, it was a unit for up to 6 guests so it was nice and huge. The large patio w/ a BBQ grill was facing the pool. We thought of BBQ'ing one evening but it was too hot. Weather says it was 95° in St George but felt like 200° LoL! They did not do a good job with our unit. Seems like the cleaning people completely missed the kitchen. The garbage can underneath the sink was not emptied (it was halfway full of the previous guests' garbage). We don't usually use the fully-equipped kitchens at WorldMark resorts since we tend to eat out a lot except for the fridge where we cool our drinks. The one time we decided to use the oven and there were no potholders! Ugh! Had to use hand towels. I started to hand wash the few dishes we used and there was no dishwashing liquid. Sorry, it's the little details I look for since I'm paying such high maintenance fees. We only spent two days at the resort so we didn't even bother mentioning it to the front desk. This location is ideal if you want to spend a day or two at Zion National Park which is only approximately 42 miles! We planned for the Coyote Buttes (The Wave) which was about 131 miles (2-1/2 hrs drive) from the resort but we were too late to submit an application to get in the lottery. ... instead we did some activities near and around St George: Red Hills Desert Garden Grafton Cemetery and Ghost Town Silver Reef Museum and Ghost Town St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site at Johnson Farm The staff at the registration office were friendly and helpful, even remembered me when I called in about our delayed arrival a week prior. Warning to everyone. Do not fall for The Sales pitch at Worldmark Lake Georg, Utah. Oct 31, '24. It is a scam! Lied to us in a huge way. We already had Club Wyndham, enough points and vacations we can afford and use. Walking out after we told them about a property we're working on in Black Hills to rent out. They amp up their sales, drag us back, tell us they have an amazing rental business for us where we can rent out our SD rental (complete lie come to find out later) & we can rent out our worldmark pts to pay for all of our costs and fees. We never intended on using the points there. They said use it as a rental business!! But don't tell the finance guy because they aren't supposed to sell it that way but they do it and they have corporate events that are renting from their Vacation Share and the rental business is a money maker. We fell for it as blind and dead and in a vacation spirit where our brains are on slow motion or something. All lies trying to get the sale. Next vacation in FL. Sales tells us there's mistakes with the Worldmark we bought in UT and the rental business will not work as it shd wrong and he needs to fix it! The pymt and amts are never talked about. They are in the docs you initial later quickly with another guy. We get told the small increase in fees monthly yada yada. Again they push the non-existent rental business and pressure like crazy. We got ourselves so deep w this rental nonsense. When I called to actually list the SD property I'm told that can't happen. You can rent the points but I did and they don't rent, there's a thousand others trying to do the same thing. We didn't buy under using vacation in Worldmark. This was far and away the worst experience I've ever had with a hotel. After an 8-hour drive, we arrived at the WorldMark St. George only to discover they had cancelled our reservation just 20 minutes before the check-in time. We never saw the email they sent about this because we were on the road. They put us in a terrible position - find a new place to stay or attempt to drive back - all at 10PM, exhausted from the long trip. Initially, it seemed like they were placing the blame on Expedia (with whom we made the booking about three weeks earlier), but it quickly became clear this was Wyndham's fault. After some research, it appears this is a common practice: overbook the hotel to keep occupancy high, even if it puts guests and their families at risk late at night in an unfamiliar area. Consumer laws do apply here, and to their credit, WorldMark/Wyndham did offer us three options to stay at other hotels nearby. But these were properties we could have booked ourselves for about a third of the price. So their "solution" was to charge us full price for accommodations that offered a fraction of the quality and amenities we had originally reserved. Going back and forth with Wyndham's customer service took about an hour, plus another 40 minutes on hold trying to get a refund - only to be told we needed to contact Expedia. Later, Expedia processed the refund in minutes after contacting WorldMark for a release and confirmation. It was clear the reservation had been fully paid and that the funds were already with the hotel. During this back and forth with customer service, our family stood there watching other guests check in. Our kids were heartbroken - they were so excited about our stay, but instead, WorldMark and Wyndham literally made them cry. Thankfully, we were able to find another hotel - albeit at midnight. Kudos to the front desk staff, they were genuinely compassionate and helpful, but were left to deal with the fallout of Wyndham's policies. The whole experience felt incredibly deceptive, as if WorldMark and Wyndham are using Expedia (and other third party booking platforms) to overbook their own properties, then offloading guests to cheaper alternatives while pocketing the difference. At midnight, when you're exhausted and out of options, this feels really coercive, so I'll be filing a complaint with the Utah Division of Consumer Protection - I believe they should be made aware. While this didn't completely ruin our vacation, it definitely had a negative impact. We started our trip drained, stressed, and disheartened. I guess Worldmark and Wyndham place far more importance on money than the time that people can enjoy at their hotels. I've stayed at Wyndham hotels in the past, but never agin. read more

I'm an owner and stayed here for the first time back in early June of 2021. I was able to secure a reservation while on the waitlist. The check-in process was quick and painless mostly because I wasn't pressured into attending yet another owner update. The lady that checked me into my unit was very nice and friendly. The 2 bedroom unit that I got was way more than enough for me, a solo traveler. It definitely beats getting something like a nearby Super 8 motel. I found the location to be very quiet, perfect for a getaway vacation. Yet, it was only a short drive to nearby stores and restaurants. Everything in my unit was clean and in good working order. When I got home, I even received a couple of messages and texts that I had left something in the unit. I think it was an ice pack in the freezer. read more

My parents were conned by the sales team. Mark and Shauna at the St. George location have taken advantage of my elderly parents and made them to believe that they could make money on a timeshare scheme by renting it out. They lied verbally to them just to make a sale. My parents are 80 and cannot afford it. This is elder abuse and unethical sales practices. Don't ever do an "update" as they will lie and pressure you just to make an unethical sale. We spoke with Julianne from corporate and she did not care that they were told lies from their employees about making money even though they are on a fixed income with health problems. Do not trust any of the words that come out of their mouths. This is a disgusting and despicable business and I recommend staying far away from Worldmark by Wyndham St George and all other Worldmark by Wyndham's as I'm guessing this practice is rampant. During our recent stay there were pluses and minuses, as summarized below. Pluses: Well-maintained, quality facilities Comfortable accommodations Cabana rental provided a perfect venue for our family reunion Minuses: Our keys stopped working twice during our stay. The front-desk agents knew the reason why this was happening but did not tell us in advance and were not proactive in providing us with replacement keys. They only took action once we showed up at the front desk after being locked out. Upon check-in, we were offered one set of incentives for attending a sales presentation. I did not commit on the spot but asked for time to talk it over with my wife. When I called back to schedule our presentation, I was offered a significantly scaled back version of the incentives despite informing the manager of what the sales agent had originally committed. Knocking one star due to slower than normal DSL but that could also be due to the Thunder storms having tonight, as the tv keeps freezing as well, Other than that, no issues whatsoever with the accommodations, all the Worldmarks have been top notch 5 star quality! This one also has washer/dryer and full kitchen- the fireplace isnt working and when we called front desk was told because the propane has been shut off due to it going into the summer season. The swimming pool and hot tub were nice, although be better if it was indoors, especially on nights like the first night were here. The accommodations, of course, we're first rate. They always are. Further, the St George Worldmark allows great access to some of the most beautiful national parks in the country. The people working checkout were friendly. However, the young man whose job it was to issue our parking pass was unspeakably rude. His name is Josh. Josh asked us if he could sign us up for an update. When we declined the offer, he became insistent and withheld our parking pass as he tried to pressure us to sign up. We told him that we were tired and planned to leave early the next morning. He pressed on. Tempers flared, and we finally got our parking pass. An hour later we came back to talk to the manager about Josh's incredible display of rudeness and were told the managet wasn't there. It was at that point that Josh smirked. I found myself wondering if Josh were mentally disturbed or just plain stupid. (I suspect that the latter is the case.) In the future, we shall.be very hesitant to book reservations at Worldmark/ St. George, where we have experienced this level of harassment and bullying before. The old phrase for this kind of display was "high pressure salesmanship." We came here with my parents as they are owners and stayed during the Christmas holiday. I have to say, I was impressed with our accommodations. We had 3 rooms in our suite and it was mostly updated. Some things went wrong (refrigerator, toilet) but the issues were quickly resolved. We rented a video from the front desk and we were given popcorn as well. I will say when my mother first checked in she was helped by a very rude person (I think her name was Becky). Besides this, everything was nice and enjoyable. A little advice for the company may be to let that person go, so she doesn't ruin other vacationers experience...but that's just my two cents...and the reason I'm taking one star off. read more

I've stayed at several different Worldmark resorts, some of which have stayed at on multiple occasions. The check-in process is always the same. I get my keys, then I move on to the concierge desk for my parking pass. But before they simply hand me the parking pass I must engage in some unpleasantness with them every single time. Since I'm not an "owner" I'm always subjected to a somewhat aggressive verbal invitation to attend an information session about the benefits of becoming an owner. I get why they do it, but I tell them every time that I've already attended one before (which is true), and I'm not interested. But they press me until I resort to having to be rude to them by telling them, "Look, just give me my damned parking pass." Once I get to the room I must engage in a game of "Find What's Missing and Broken." There's usually a lightbulb out, not enough toilet paper or paper towels, missing dishes, TV remote batteries that need replaced, broken grill, missing chairs, etc. After making my list I then call the desk. They're usually good about coming right away to address what should have already been addressed before I checked in. Then, there's the Wi-Fi. I usually don't pay for it, but I did this last time. Yes, that's right. They make you pay for Wi-Fi, and it's the slowest, most pathetic excuse for Wi-Fi I've ever experienced. I have a Wi-Fi speed test app on my phone, which I used to measure the speed of Worldmark's Wi-Fi. It never tested about 6 Mbps download speed, which is inexcusable. I get anywhere from 150 to 180 Mbps download speed from my Wi-Fi at my home which is also in Utah, depending on which room I'm in. At Worldmark I would have been okay with getting 20 Mbps or more, but less than 6 Mbps download speed is ridiculous. When I called the desk to complain about the slow Wi-Fi I was told to forget the network and reconnect. Clearly, the nice people at Worldmark think I'm an idiot, or they're idiots if they think that would work. The issue is not my phone or tablet, it's the download speed, you Silly Worldmark employees. You see, slow Wi-Fi download speed can usually be attributed to the service that is being paid for (Worldmark ISP sucks), or their wireless router is too far from my room, or too many people are sucking up the bandwidth. My smartphone and tablet can handle your DSL Wi-Fi and then some. It's time to break out your corporate credit card and pay for some high-speed Internet. You're in desperate need of fast Wi-Fi (802.11ac)! read more

Great stay in the resort, awful sales presentation . We loved the 2 bedroom, King deluxe condo we stayed in. Resort staff were all pleasant and helpful. Very responsive to our requests. However our experience with the sales presentation was outrageous. They promised to treat us with dignity and respect but our experience was the polar opposite. As soon as the sales associate, Amber, realized we weren't purchasing any time shares she immediately began to accuse us of being mean, close minded, hard headed, unemotional. I expected a "high pressure" approach but never to be subjected to such demeaning and insulting behavior. My wife was humiliated and embarrassed. We arrived at the resort at 10pm after we wandered around St. George for half an hour because the address listed on their website led us to an incorrect location. When we arrived we were greeted with a high pressure timeshare sales pitch after traveling 11 hours. Instead of making us feel welcomed it felt like we were a dollar bill sign. When I told the timeshare salesmen the address was incorrect he laughed said a lot of people have told him that and they should really fix it. When we got to our room we were greeted with extremely uncomfortable beds and paper thin pillows. I don't think any of us slept well the entire time. This resort is badly in need of updating and has been a drastic disappointment when compared with other worldmark resorts. They had one ice cream social over our Spring Break. Most resorts have multiple fun activities. The resort staff called us multiple times pestering us about timeshare presentations (during dinner time no less). Instead of constantly harassing us to purchase a timeshare, maybe they should focus on making your resort somewhere people want to stay. read more

This place is a scam. This review is long, so here's the main point: employees here will lie to you, blame you for their lies, try to cover up their lies, waste most of your vacation time, and when all else fails, threaten you. When we checked in, one of their sales people tried to get us to go to their timeshare pitches. We finally relented (stupid us) and signed up for the 9am workshop on our departure day. The guy had to clear our time with his manager, since the actual timeshare owner was supposed to attend an 11am or later workshop (some stupid company policy) but that time didn't work for us. He said his manager ok'd the 9am time for everyone, and we were set. I paid the deposit, got a confirmation for 9am. The next evening, the same guy calls and asks if we can switch the owners meeting to 9:45am. He said his manager asked him to call. We said okay. We found reminder cards under our door that had 9am for most of our party, and 9:45am for the owner. Still ok. Fast forward to our departure day. I get a call telling us that meetings at 9:45am do not exist, and telling us we had to do the 11am one. I tell her that we originally had 9am, and that we were asked to move to 9:45. She told us that didn't exist, and that the 9am workshop was full. I was furious. Since she had no clue what was going on, she put a sales manager named Ashton on. I have no clue how this guy got to a manager because he is a grade A asshole. He told us that whoever put us down for that time made a mistake. But there was nothing he could do. He would not honor the gift we were promised, nor did he apologize. I went to his office to show him my written confirmation of my times. He pulled out the carbon copy of my confirmation WHERE SOMEONE HAD WRITTEN OVER IT IN BLUE INK. Where it had said 9am in that dark, carbon copy ink, it had 11am written in blue ink over it. I could not believe the blantent lying and apparent fraud that was happening! I asked Ashton for his copy so I could take a picture of it, and he refused, and quickly had someone take it and hide it in a back office. He couldn't get more sketchy if he tried. He said they'd send a copy to corporate, but if that document ends up anywhere other than inside a shredder, I'd be shocked! I asked Ashton if it was his business policy that we, his customers, have our time wasted because of their mistakes and lies. Apparently Wyndham is all about false advertising and abysmal customer service because Ashton shrugged and said there was nothing he could do. No apologies, not even a sympathetic word. He looked bored. The other sales manager, Terry, came out and told us to keep our voices down, or we could "do this the hard way". Apparently Terry thinks physically threatening people is a good business move. So in addition to lying to us, trying to cover up their mistakes, essentially telling us they didn't give a shit about our time, this company also THREATENS their guests. I'll be making copies of my receipts and confirmations to send to their corporate office, although I doubt a company that hires such rude, disgusting people such as Ashton and Terry won't give a single shit about their customers. And for the cherry on top of the sundae, this place is infested with ants. We called the night we arrived and were told that this was normal and someone would come take care of it the next day. I don't know if anyone ever showed up, but we had ants everywhere our entire stay. The only positive part of our stay was Alexis at the front desk. She was the first person to actually apologize for what happened to us, even though she had absolutely nothing to do with it. It's amazing that a place with so many employees would have only ONE person that cares about customers. If more people at this place were like her, I wouldn't be writing this review, and Wyndham would have a lot more business. I shouldn't have to give you business advice, Wyndham, but apparently I do. We stayed at Worldmark St George for a week and had a great time. It is on top of a hill overlooking the airport (not very busy or large) which is located on top of a mesa. Very cool. The resort is away from the town, but only by 8-10 minutes. It is easy to get too, not too far from the interstate, and cheap gas station between the resort and the highway. Rooms were large and clean, feature a kitchen and modern conveniences. At the time they were offering a deal on breakfasts, each day was different and delish. They only wanted a few bucks for it too. The staff was very helpful in recommending places to eat, this is before I discovered Yelp. We used this as a place to stay while exploring Zion and the other incredible national parks in southwest Utah. read more

This is our first time at this location and it was a good, but not great experience. The main reasons we give this place 4 stars instead of 5 is the Internet and lack of trash bins. We live in the 21st century and high speed internet access is a must. If we are going to have to pay extra money for something that is free at hotels, then it should be much much faster. I have run a few tests and the fastest speed was 0.45 Mbps. That is pathetic. I did bring this up at the sales pitch and the salesman said this,"Most people who own timeshares are old people that don't really care about Internet." That kind of blew me away. My parents, who are the owners and over 60, each have iPads, smartphones, and laptops. So, fix the Internet problems and it would have been a 5 star review. One last thing. Trash bins need to be larger and there need to be more! Everyday we went to throw garbage away they were full and overflowing. Other than those few things, we love the quiet location, the clean condos, the delivery service for towels and kitchen supplies, nice pool, and rec room. We seriously have enjoyed the 10 years of condo fun, but Internet and trash seem to be an ongoing problem at most of your establishments. read more

me and a group of friends stayed here for a short and tiny vacation away from lights, loud noises and traffic of Las Vegas. We had a full kitchen, 3 bedroom 2 bath suite. It wasn't fancy and amazing, but it was nice and simple. The beds were quite comfortable, bathrooms were clean and it was cozy. Staff was very friendly, directing us where attractions were and what's fun to do. We went mini golfing and arcading btw. Pool and hot tub were nice though it closes quite early and i find myself wanting to swim late nights. We used the recreation room for pool and ping pong, and some of their arcade machines were out of order so that was a shame. I had a good fun experience. It was quiet and it was great for a change, no loud noises, no slot machines ringing, no traffic. Just nice cold weather (at the time) and sitting in front of the fireplace. read more

Seriously, why am I paying you to try and sweet talk me into paying an outdated hotel experience? If you buy into their lies you will regret it. The St George work mark is one of my favorites!! We've only stayed here once, but can't wait to return. There is so much to see and do around St George, we spent 3 day going just visiting Zion! The rooms are clean and perfect. The facilities (game room and pool area) are clean and well maintained. The front desk is always polite and helpful. The in room laundry is so helpful! My only wish is that they had better pans! They are not nonstick, so buy a can Pam to save some troubles!! read more

This is a nice place for the money. I stayed four days on a winter get-away with my wife. Positives: * Amenities were not spectacular but were adequate. Pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. Exercise room and game room were nice. *The management was helpful and informative about local attractions. *The facility location is on a hill, out of town a short distance. Negatives: *The management pestered us nearly every day about buying a time share. *The pool closed at 10 p.m. That is when I prefer to swim laps. *This location does not currently appear correctly on Google Maps and GPS devices. Perhaps it is not indexed correctly. Overall, this is a good place to stay. I love having a full kitchen, a private BBQ, and plenty of room to relax while on vacation. Every 2 years we have a family reunion and have stayed at places like Depot Bay, Oregon and Lake Tahoe which were great. The reason this one in St. George isn't getting a poor rating here is because they had a nice Cabana area for our joint evening meals and game nights that were the best part of our reunion. That is my only positive part of the review. Now where to start....1. NOISE: They are under renovation and the workers have consistently been out taking and banging things early morning. I made a note to document the time and make sure it was for THIS property, since when I talked to the office they told me it was from construction on neighboring properties. It was 7:14 right outside my window. They list a quiet time from 10 pm to 8 am. This has not been the case. 2. ONLY ONE POOL: Part of the renovation is the large pool and rec room area is down, so during the hottest week of the year (with excessive heat warnings), there was only one pool. Too small and crowded and NO adult only swim. So many little kids, and that's to be expected, but no time for just adults to enjoy the pool without all the kids yelling and splashing. 3. ROOM ISSUES: The bed mattress needed to be replaced. Surely this is part of the renovation because there is definitely indentations on both sides of the king size mattress. I expect this at home since we are overdue for a new mattress, but not at a resort. Other than that, the room was basic and the air conditioning worked well .. thank goodness .. however, they neglected to inform me that all the air conditioning units (3 large ones)were on the other side of the wall of head board on the bed. VERY NOISY. This is room 107 BTW. 4. COCKROACHES and ANTS: This was a problem in all my family members on the first floor. Not to great to have cockroaches in the bathrooms, living room and ants in the kitchen and living room. They said they came and sprayed when we were gone for the day, but the dead cockroaches in my son's bathroom were still on the floor. Ants came back. Yuck. 5. WI FI SLOW and would have cost had there not been remodeling:. It's 2017, wifi should be standard, not a fee. Since there business center was closed due to remodeling, they did give us free access.... but it was so incredibly slow! This really annoyed not only me, but especially the teenagers of the family. 6. NOT OWNERS? So, my father is the owner and it is his points and ownership status that provides these family reunions. At the other properties, they didn't treat us any different, but here they did. So, to recap: The Cabana was super great for the evening get together, but that didn't off set the negatives of renovation noise especially early morning, only one pool, old bed, air conditioning noise on the other side of my pillow, cockroaches and ants, poor wifi, and not being owners and getting treated differently. read more

A few days before my stay, I checked out the yelp reviews and became a little concerned by all the negative comments. I'm happy to report that my experience was the exact opposite from all the previous complaints and my family had an amazing vacation. We stayed the week of July 4th and had a great time at the property, and the city. I am not a owner - I was staying as part of the "Discover" trial package. From the moment we arrived, everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. The property was clean, and despite being completely sold out, it did not seem crowded at all. They 2nd pool area just re-opened, and was never too crowded. Our room was clean, and very nice - beds and pillows were very comfy. Upon check-in, we spoke with Donnie who offered to sign us up for an ownership presentation but didn't pressure us into it. We signed up for a session on the last day of our stay, and it actually worked out nice because the family got lunches to-go (saving us from paying for food on the road). The presentation was exactly as expected - these people have a product they are trying to sell, and they will talk for as long as you will listen. If you are expecting to stick to the stated 60 minutes, I suggest you be clear with your expectations. Our salesman talked for about 2 hours, but partly because we kept asking questions. (We ended up leaving without purchasing, but I easily got my cash gift, which made the couple hours well worth it). My family loved the trip, and recommends this property - it's about an hour drive away from Zion and fit our needs nicely. Oh - I deducted a star because of the WiFi charge. Actual owners get free WiFi, but other types of guests don't. I brought my own air-card, so we didn't care....but still thought it kinda petty to charge - even Zion has free WiFi, in the middle of the national park..... read more

On the road again, can't wait to be on the road again. I just had a terrible experience at the WorldMark in Pagosa Springs, Co. Beautiful location, but not bad, but horrible accommodations not at all meeting normal WorldMark standards. Well, here we are in St. George, UT and WorldMark is back in favor. Our condo is normal WM standard which is great. Always clean and well anointed. The check in desk is open 24/7 which is nice for travelers. Staff are cheerful and informative. Shopping is very close. And of course, you can not beat this location. Within a 2.5 or under drive you can be in Zion and Bruce Canyon National Parks and the North rim of the Grand Canyon. Great restaurants right down the road. This is our third time here and we will be back. Think about coming in mid October as kids are in school and the foliage is changing to beautiful hues. Plz no anti-kid hate mail. Just saying wait times are practically null. This is a great location and solidly clean, comfortable accommodations. Highly recommended. read more

My family is on our last night here. The Positive: The units are nice sized and we always found parking right in front of our room (the resort appears to be full, so this is good), there is a Murphy bed in the living room which gave us some extra room when our teenagers decided they wanted separate sleeping arrangements. The pool is small, but clean despite heavy usage by small children. The ping-pong table is by far the nicest we have seen at any Worldmark or RCI resort. It is solid, and not broken (well, the net is patched together, but it works!) The weight room is nice, but I did cut my finger adjusting one piece of equipment. If you can handle tennis in the heat, there are free tennis courts at an adjacent resort (strange that the staff had to call and find this out - you'd think they would be trained about all the amenities available for guests). The Negative: I would describe our experience as "mediocre" compared to our visits at other Worldmark or RCI resorts. I suspect the management of this resort is new or lacks sufficient resources to improve the experience of guests. If I had to guess, it is lack of experience since there are areas that are not resource dependent where we were disappointed. This lack of leadership and standards can be described by way of a few examples: When we arrived, there were "tokens" for sale in the lobby. Since we were early and our room wasn't ready, I looked around for the game room while my wife registered. Several doors were open or unmarked. One room that was open was the room where employees have their lockers. The room was disgracefully messy, not a sign of the high standards that a "Five Star II Rating" resort manager would enforce, even in areas that should be kept closed, and also not something that would take substantial resources to improve. Other office area rooms were also messy and disorganized, like sales signs blocking access to the "discount coupons" and other materials that assist in planning activities. The grounds were not properly maintained. These branches kept poking us in the face, so my daughter started breaking them off hoping that somebody would take notice and trim them, no such luck. Other than the ones trimmed by her, the overgrowth is still there and is noticeable everywhere at the resort. The unit came with one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. Even though they brought us more when we called and asked, this is not the sort of thing you want to call and ask for, as when you find out you are out, it is an uncomfortable moment. A good manager would have a checklist and quality control to ensure a good guest experience. The next negative is more of an indictment of a policy that has become antiquated. This "5 Star" resort and allegedly now all Worldmark Resorts charges for WIFI despite the fact that even places like YOUKNOWWHO Inn have free WiFi (not wanting to violate advertising rules here). You can see other places that offer free WiFi at wififreespot dot com. Why would the owners (me!!!) want to pay ourselves extra for something that has become more of a utility like internet access? Why not get great high speed service at every resort and just include it in our dues? The biggest irritation is that this new policy of charging for WiFi was only explained to owners at the "owner's orientation" meetings, which of course we skipped because they use them to sell more credits to us. Even more incredulous, we paid $50 for the internet access, only to find out that the internet service comes on a cable rather than a 99.99% up-time T-1. This wouldn't be a problem, but they did not tell us when they collected the $50 that they were expecting "intermittent" disruptions in our service due to maintenance. Intermittent turned out to be the entire Friday evening during the opening ceremony of the Olympics. Now we have plenty of things to do on vacation, and this would not even be a complaint, except I was required to pay for it, and the "disruption" was planned in advance. They charged me knowing it wasn't going to work... That is not nice. When it did work, it was not fast enough to watch movies online. A huge resort sharing a single cable modem? Charging every guest $XX... Can't you afford a redundant, high bandwidth system? Maybe devote some of the money you give away to people for attending a sales pitch? We still had fun on our vacation, especially the "Bottoms Up - Narrows" in Zions Park, and these annoyances are minor, but are not typical of our prior experiences at Worldmark or RCI resorts. We stayed tat these timeshares as guests for the past week and were very impressed. This resort has all the amenities for families - a kids playground, pools (a large pool with a waterfall, a small pool for the little kiddies and a jacuzzi) and an exercise room. The thing that impressed me most was the fact that after we checked out, the cleaning crew found our case of DVDs and reported them to the lost and found. There must have been 10+ DVDs in that case = over $100+! Thank you worldmark for your honest employees! This was a great place to stay and I highly recommend it. read more

A wonderful timeshare. Spacious 2 bedroom unit was clean and comfortable. The beds are really comfortable. We also had a private gas grillPool area was really nice. Everyone was very friendly. I would recommend WorldMark St. George. read more

GPS lead us in a maze to get here. We had a 3 bedroom unit. Plenty of covered parking in front of Bldg. Had to get maintenance to replace kitchen light bulb & fix drawer under TV so we could store games, movies & a place to store "stuff" for those using Murphy bed. Master bath had a used hand towel still hanging in bathroom. Not enough towels & wash cloths for an 8 person unit. Staff responded quickly to calls. Pool & hot tub clean. Be nice if pool was open even one hr later (11pm) especially in summer months. Fitness equipment in good condition, used almost daily. Both pool tables out of order. Glad to have air hockey, horse shoes & ping pong table available. Haven't tried shuffle board yet. Beds are firm, just the way I like em. Glad to have elevator as on 3rd floor & have family w/special needs. Staff could be more educated on local happenings & discounts. Just upgraded ownership & now get free Wi-Fi. It has worked fine for our needs, mostly looking for coupons, discounts, grocery stores close by & local eats & events. Being on vacation didn't need to watch videos, do much FB or work, etc. So far family has had a good time. read more

I love coming to St George and staying at the resort. I have stayed here probably 10 times and have not once had a bad experience. My wife and kids love the two pools & outdoor basketball court. It's an added plus that it's located next to one of my favorite golf courses in Sunbrook. Great place to stay! read more

This stay was beyond awful. Our room smelt SO BAD of a mildew smell. When we told the office they sent a person up who played dumb like he couldn't smell it. We asked to switch rooms but it was booked up as well as the hotel's in the area do to a sports tournament our son was in. So they sent a person to "fog it out". We were told it nutralizes any oder. It took over an hour and did nothing. In 2 days we used 3 cans of fabreeze to get through it. When we brought it up again we got the aditude of "well what do you want us to do" the still took the credits we used and still charged us the house keeping fee of $75. It's a shame because past stays were ok. So if you stay avoid 341. read more
