I had an excellent experience with this Verizon Wireless location. While pondering upgrading my…read moreSamsung Galaxy S22 Ultra to the newest device S25 Ultra I searched on-line for phones and plans. Verizon had a trade in offer of $1000 to upgrade to the newest Galaxy. My old phone was in perfect condition and there were no issues but from my history with phones when things go bad I tend to have to upgrade immediately and they offer very little to no money for non working phones. A representative from this Verizon Wireless location called me. He told me that he saw I was interested in upgrading my phone but was wondering why I had not finalized my decision. He then asked if he could explain my options and walk me through different plans and devices. Thankfully Verizon's website has all the information you need to do everything online and explains everything very well. I truly appreciated the young man's call and if they did not close so early and charge $40 for me to come into the store I would have possibly did my upgrade in store. Either way the location provided excellent service. I strolled online for a few days trying to decide if I wanted my new phone mailed to me, have an associate come to my house and help me set it up for $40, go into the store and have someone do the upgrade also $40 or pickup the phone from the store and do it myself for free. I'm not sure when they started charging customers to come into the store for upgrades but if a phone cost over $1200 everything else should be free. I chose free and decided on having the phone placed in a locker at this Verizon location after I purchased it. I received an email once my phone was ready for pickup. I love that they have a locker pickup option and allowed me to get the phone at my convenience. When I arrived the store was closed. My pickup email gave clear instructions on how to retrieve my purchase from the locker. It was a painless process that took about 3 minutes, my phone and receipt were in a bag inside when I finally opened the locker. Although I did not have face to face contact, this Verizon location exceeded my expectations. I left feeling confident in my purchase and extremely satisfied with the service provided. I will definitely return to this store in the future if I need help with my phone or to purchase accessories.

Over half an hour passed as I sat patiently. I asked where is my salesman. They couldn't find him. He never even started the transfer so someone else gave me instructions to do it myself.

My family has bought 2 refurbished computers from this place over the years. One of them was a…read moredesktop that was perfectly fine. The other was a laptop whose hard drive died JUST over a month after I got it. I brought it back to them to get the hard drive replaced, and when I got it home I discovered that plugging in headphones would no longer turn off the speakers. Brought it back to get that fixed and then when I went to pick it up they informed me that the touch pad no longer worked, but I figured at least they had tried, and they didn't charge me even though it was technically just past the 30-day mark. When my work computer started acting up a few days ago I figured I'd take it back to them under the assumption that the laptop was a fluke. I told the guy what was wrong, told him it was an intermittent, unpredictable problem with the USB ports turning off, and ran down the list of all the things I'd done at home to try to diagnose and fix it. I'd ruled out software issues and was thinking it was the motherboard. Casually mentioned that I was kinda having a bad day because my computer had been acting up so much while I was trying to do my job. He told me I didn't know what a bad day was until I'd had his day yesterday. Talking down to the customer, awesome. He hooked my computer up, then took a phone call and spent the next several minutes on the phone, clicking randomly around the start menu and clearly not concentrating on his job. Hung up the phone and ranted to me and the other customers about his personal life. Oversharing, great. I tried to laugh it off and sympathize and not make a scene, but it was inappropriate and I was not very comfortable. At this point he poked around in the device manager, doing about 1/4 of the things I said I'd already done, and then he basically threw up his hands and said it was a software issue and I should go home and do a system restore. Not once did he open the tower or do any real diagnostics. I left the store doubting myself, but I decided to visit the other repair shop in town for a second opinion just in case. I told the folks there what was happening, and they opened the case and immediately saw what the problem was - a weak/small power supply that was failing. Needless to say, I went ahead and had THEM rebuild my computer for me. Won't go back to Windudes again after this; they're supposed to be the professionals and they clearly don't seem to know any more about computers than I do.

Nov 2025 Update:…read more After my Internet only bill hit $100.00/mo :-( , I've been looking for an alternate provider. And, because I only have Internet for my place, it took a bit of research to find another provider. But, once I did, canceling Spectrum service was not easy! I know the CSR has a speil that he has to go through, to try and keep you as a customer (going so far as to offer, 1Gb service for$40.00/mo.; Why couldn't they have offered a discount when I called a few weeks previously asking about it?). But, between that, and asking irrelevant (and, irritating) questions, such as who's my Cellphone provider and, how much I pay, it's ridiculous that it took over 14 minutes to cancel the service. And, on top of that, I have to return the modem and router to either, a Spectrum Store. Or, send the stuff back via, The UPS Store. :-( Though, I did like them, their price increases have gotten out of hand.

I have two reviews at once. First review is for the Milledgeville Ga store employees. I…read moredisconnected service and was told on three separate phone calls to Spectrum to simply return the equipment "to any Spectrum store or UPS store". So I drove to M'ville today to return the equipment. The person behind the counter informed me they don't take back equipment because they are too small of a store And I have to take it myself to a UPS store. I said I was told on three separate callast to return to ANY spectrum store or UPS store. She refused. Another guy came from the back and was listening and didn't say a word, so he didn't care either. I guess they can't keep the equipment and make a UPS run once a month. So I called Spectrum customer support to tell them what the Milledgeville store is like. He was very polite and said he would file a report but can't make them take the equipment back. He said that several times. I informed him this is a Spectrum problem, not a ME problem. I'm not driving to an ups store just because they are too LAZY to schedule an ups pickup. I then spoke to his supervisor and repeated the story. I said I was about to film myself walking the equipment into the store and leaving it on the counter. My job and responsibility was done at this point. The supervisor said he would schedule a pickup from my house today. I said that's fine. But now I wished I had said to have them pick up the equipment from the Spectrum Store in Milledgeville ga. There is a reason the Milledgeville store is "small". It's because they treat people like this. They don't contact us to give updates lower prices. They don't stay competitive. They could keep customers before they ever leave, but if they leave treat them with respect. Try that. So the people on the phone with Spectrum corporation were very professional and did what they could. But letting the Milledgeville store dictate if they decide to follow Spectrums rules is ridiculous. Give them what they want. They don't want to work. Just shut them down.
