My wife Mary and I actually drove all the way from Shreveport, Louisiana because of their reputation and knowledge of hybrid vehicles, and they absolutely exceeded every expectation we had. We brought in our beloved 2010 gold Prius, "Bethany," and they repaired the brake pump assembly and brake actuator, changed the oil, and replaced the cabin air filter -- all in the SAME DAY. Not only was the work completed quickly, but the total cost was roughly one-third of what Toyota dealership pricing would have been. These guys are Crooks, but they are good at it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They seemed like such nice guys so I trusted them.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They were supposed to replace my engine after it blew a head gasket. Then they called me and told me my catalytic converter was bad and was going to cost about $4800 to fix it I told them to just put it back together and I would fix it later when I get the money. I then took it to a different shop and they told me the catylitic converter had been completely hollowed out so it would never work again they also told me that the only way it could be like this is if someone broke everything out with a hammer and chisel. We can't say enough positive words about Mile Hybrid. We drove our 2nd car up to Denver from Manitou Springs after speaking and texting with Eric. He was amazingly helpful, inspired confidence and answered every question and concern. He was thorough, patient and went the extra mile when we accidentally cut a wire to temp sensor when removing old battery. Without Eric's help, I dont know what we would've done - couldn't even get our car out of park to tow it anywhere. Michael at the front desk was also wonderful. They fixed my battery way cheaper than other garages because they build their own. When they needed a little more time than expected, they also did a free check on all my systems and fluids and a quick cosmetic fix that I needed, all free. (Another dealer had quoted $450 for that cosmetic issue!!) A few months later I ended up getting some warning lights again even though the car was running great. Took it in, and they just swapped out the battery while I waited, for free (they offer a warranty, no questions asked), no problem at all! Super nice guys too. It's rare that you find a car repair place that is genuinely trustworthy and with great customer service. While I waited I heard them give great advice on car purchases to other customers, they did free diagnostics, showed people easy fixes for any issues they might come across, explained potential warning signs, and so on. These guys are the real deal for hybrid car service. They are completely bs free and show you what's wrong before they fix it and even tips to prevent the problem from happening again. They have a junk yard out back, so they recycle appropriate parts at a cheaper price since they're technically used parts. Cool by me! Had an issue with a first generation Honda Civic Hybrid. I googled for IMA battery replacements and found Mile Hybrid Automotive. I spoke with Andy on the phone and drove over. He said he'd do a quick inspection at no charge. His diagnosis saved me $4500 that the dealer wanted to charge. Apparently the battery still has some life, and when it does finally die, Mile Hybrid would be able to replace it new with warranty for nearly $1000 less than the dealer. He also gave me tips on how to know when the battery is dying (IMA light, fuel economy drops to 30mpg, very fast fluctuations in battery levels, etc) Last was the catalytic converter. He explained to me that Colorado does not do emissions on hybrids, and even if they did, it would still probably pass. Saved me the $1500 the dealer wanted to charge to replace the cat. It is clear that Mile Hybrid has quite a bit of experience with hybrids and wants their customers to understand the issues that do come up. Thank you Mile Hybrid; I'll be back! read more

I've been to Mile Hybrid twice. The first time for a hybrid battery replacement. They screwed up the assembly and the battery failed again within six months. I called them and they said they would diagnose it free since they'd replaced it but after doing the work they charged me full price saying, "oops, the employee who told you that was wrong." I have no respect for a business that doesn't stand by the employees they trained and pay to represent them. Obviously, I took the car somewhere else which is how I learned about the botched assembly. Also, while they had the car on their premise, they had it parked under a tree that dripped sap all over the paint and it took me hours and hours to clean it off. read more

I've had a Prius since 2004, first year of the Gen 2's. It's been a great car until a few weeks ago when the hybrid battery failed. I was ready to count the car off as a loss after hearing a new battery would be $4000. Luckily a friend told me about MileHybrid. Last week they replaced my battery(and even fixed my spoiler that had ripped off) for about half the price. Not only that, my car is getting better MPG now than it ever did. I probably averaged around 43 MPG before and so far I'm around 47-48 MPG. I can't say enough about this shop. It's always scary trying to find an honest mechanic, but this is one I'll vouch for. After 2 and half months of aggrivation in my personal life. My car is finally fixed and running. She will be home and working by this weekend. I will never ever will take my car to Arapahoe KIA again. I trusted them in putting a new transmission into my car. My aging Prius and I are grateful to have found Mile Hybrid! Leah is super friendly, patient, and VERY knowledgeable. She took the time to talk through a bunch of questions and concerns my husband and I had, both on the phone and in person when we dropped off the car. My Prius needed a few repairs as well as a good amount of maintenance. They were really flexible, ie willing to use a part that my husband had bought before deciding the job was too complex for him to DIY, and totally cool with the fact that he did want to do some of the maintenance the car needed himself (Leah even gave him tips on how to do it). I had hopeful expectations after reading all these great reviews. Sadly, I can't share the same sentiment. Called and booked apt. for a 120,000 mile service, which was noted by Gary via phone call. Took car in at 8 am, again said I wanted a 120,000 mile service and my headlight checked. That was entered into a computer. Called around 2:30 about status of car. Gary didn't know. He called me back, told me all I needed was a headlight. I said, and the the 120,000 service? Silence. a pause. Then oh yeah...it'll be ready by 5:00. Then almost immediately get a text, saying that if I want that service, car will need to be kept overnight. It takes two days to do that service? Bottom line--somebody forgot, didn't want to own up to it, and not handled well by Gary. Won't be going back. Just make sure they know what you need done. Confirm it. A lot of times. read more
