Amazing burger and curly fries. Probably the best western burger I have had. Juicy burger cooked to medium, perfectly crisp onion rings, chewy crisp bacon, bbq sauce and all standard produce lettuce, pickle, tomato, mayo, and mustard. Only complaint I had to ask for ketchup for fries and got to picnic table a 1/4 mile from store and no napkins. Talk about messy.

    Parking lot.

Great local grocery store. The staff is friendly and helpful. Well stocked shelves, beer & liquor. Deli counter has excellent sandwiches, burgers, fried chicken, corndogs, pizza, taquitos. Beautiful view of the Auburn ravine from the picnic area to enjoy your lunch. Glad to patronize a local establishment. They have another location in Georgetown.

Wow! Fabulous place!! I had a lovely time with my wife and kids enjoying not only a delicious sandwich that could feed a horse but also embellishing the scenic views of the Northern California mountains. The service was exquisite, I felt like I was a local myself in that small little town. I thoroughly recommend taking your family, taking your date or just your ol' self down to Worton's for a lovely picnic

We went to Foresthill for our boys cross country run and stopped for a bite to eat at Worton's market. The staff was welcoming and they were able to get through a line of 50 plus people within minutes! We sat outside to eat and our view was beautiful. Excellent service and a delicious burger!

Their deli is the best place to eat on the hill. The staff is super friendly. They've got a good beer and wine selection and all the liquor a guy could want. Try the house salsa.

Great wine selections, check the cold case too!

My absolute favorite small town market. We recently moved to this glorious little gem, Foresthill CA from Auburn. Worton's is a quaint market that has an incredible view! Come for the view, a deli sandwich or something yummy from the hot case. Enjoy a picnic on the tables overlooking pure beauty! It's a great place to enjoy good company, good service and like I said, a pretty view! they have everything you need and then some. It can be busy on the weekends but still a small town gem that you will not regret stopping off to check out.

One particular recent visit (to organize mom's house! home edit anyone?) I had just taken my cat to the vet for a routine check up in Folsom, so I wanted to get on the road right after. About halfway into the drive up, started to smell either a bad fart or my poor kitty had gotten car sick....and sure enough, she had pooped under the seat. Poor thing. Must've felt like a boat ride in choppy waters. She was fine and luckily enough, we arrived soon after, but I decided to stop here just before Mom's to see if they carried any of those pet friendly enzyme odor fighting chemicals. Found one that is pet safe, organic, and plant based so a few spritz of that, we were good to go. What I did notice here is that the market is well kept, smelled clean (always a good sign), pretty well organized, I was able to find everything I was looking for despite not being familiar with the general store layout. Staff were friendly too. I would definitely stop here again. Even the Deli looked yummy! Might get a fresh sandwich to go next visit.

It's more than just a market. Yes, they have the usual grocery and sundry items, but they also have clothes. Souvenirs. Some hardware items. Fishing and camping gear. They have a decent hot and cold deli, and they also do espresso drinks. I stopped by the deli, and I decided to have the pastrami on provolone with rye bread. It also came with the usual fixings, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and Dijon mustard.. I got my sandwich and took it out front to enjoy the nice day. The sandwich was huge! They were very generous with the pastrami, all of the Fixin's played very well with the pastrami, and I loved that rye bread. The bread didn't hold up to the sandwich perfectly, it was falling apart, just a little bit, but hey. It happens. It was just an absolutely excellent sandwich. I was going to stop at half, but it was so good, I finished the whole thing, and waddled away. The price for this great sandwich and a soda was extremely reasonable. Next time I'm up here, I will be back. Thanks.

He looked at me and another guy and said "who was here first". We both stated I was there first and I started to say that I wanted to order a turkey sandwich. The young man behind the counter interrupted me and said "fill out that paper and put it there" as he was pointing to the counter. As I was doing so, he stated to the other guy "what are you getting, I'll get that started". Nice gesture to the other guy. Then, I completed my sandwich request form and put it exactly where the young man told me to. Behind a few others walked up, completed their sandwich request form and placed them next to mine. One by one, other sandwich request were completed until myself and someone else asked about my sandwich. It was only after a white lady was in unison with me and asked about my sandwich, did someone take my sandwich request form and completed it. Oh! Did I mention that most everyone else there was white in color? As i finally received my sandwich, I went to the self checkout to pay for my sandwich. After I paid for my sandwich, there was a lady there by the name of Terri. I asked Terri if there was a manager that I could speak to. Terri immediately stated "I'm a manager". I told her my complaint and Terri immediately stated I was lying. Not only that Terri asked me "did you pay for that"? As I had my sandwich in hand, I stated "yes, I paid for this, here is my receipt". I've shopped Raley's and Bel Air for years. I am a loyal customer and have been for a very long time. They put some kind of delicious spice blend on the burger that made it so so delish! and the sandwich was super generous with a side of au-jus. It's not fancy but it hit the spot for a quick road trip spot. We didn't browse too much around the store but there were tons of people shopping and buying their award winning pies. Wish we lived closer! Highly recommended.

Arriving a bit after 1pm on a weekday the restaurant was jammed packed. I waited on a line out the door. There's not enough room at the order counter area to handle any overflow. I had checked out having lunch here once before. It was impossible and I just left. There's a vast array of burgers available and then a few other items too. I had read that locals like the Tri-tip sandwich with horseradish sauce so we tried one of those, plus a 'Tasty Burger' with cheese (extra cost). We also got a side of sweet potato fries and small drinks. The large drinks are super humongous. For a long time I've heard remarks from folks about the amazing quality of the food at Ikeda's. So I was totally buzzed to finally have the opportunity to try it out. It took around 20+ minutes from the time I placed the order until my number was called to pick up at an adjacent counter. It seemed like a tedious long wait but not exactly is it a fast food place either. There's covered and protected outdoor seating plus some indoors too, which is air-conditioned. It was a hot day so fortunately we snagged a two seat table inside, but you have to be ruthless and on top of scouting to get somewhere to sit. I'm a person who doesn't enjoy or appreciate needing to struggle to have a meal. I'd much rather go to Awful Annie's nearby and get seated and waited on... but that's just me and my preference. We got our fountain drink plus napkins and ketchup from a dispenser, taking turns not to loose the table to folks stalking for an open seat. I had a sweetened green tea which wasn't bad. We each tried each other's meal. The hamburger was indeed absolutely delicious. I wouldn't say the best ever, but very high quality and tasty. It fell apart with the Tri-tip sandwich which was TERRIBLE. The meat was extremely grizzley, chewy and greasy. It was plain gross. The tomatoes on it didn't help one bit, and frankly whatever horseradish sauce was on it was tasteless...no punch at all. The toasted bread was limp and I, unfortunately, really couldn't appreciate any of it. It was very disappointing and left a lump in my stomach. The fries were just OK and they do give a large portion for the cost, $5.99. If you come here I suggest sticking with a burger, which apparently is their signature meal choice. The other thing I really disliked was the chaotic atmosphere of the place. It's crowded, noisy and just unpleasant. Plus the flies! I literally wanted to woof down my meal and leave. We did check out the adjacent store and they do have some amazing product. I'm sure the quality is good, but prices are high. Ikeda's is a long standing family owned business and I hate being too negative, but it is what it is. I doubt I'll return.
