I had this company out 3 times to check the problem and they told me there was no problem. Today I found out the cement work and the sealing of the shower were done incorrectly. I'm thankful for the plumbers that have come into my house and been honest with us, we're getting good work done, work that will last years. Not half assed jobs meant to bring the plumber back collecting money, but never fixing the problem. I've saved hundreds of dollars over the last 5 years by not calling Coffman. In 2013, I purchased a townhome in need of total renovation. The inspector pointed out that the…read moresump pump needed replacement and the furnace may need to be replaced in the near future. After a year of dealing with a noisy furnace that was unable to heat my townhome adequately and an inadequate central air conditioning system I decided to get estimates on replacing the furnace and sump pump, cleaning the a/c compressor, draining the hot water tank and placing a pan underneath which was also recommended by the inspector. My employer highly recommended Quinnair so they were the first company to evaluate my jobs and give an estimate. Another company would only give an estimate on the furnace and sump pump and the third company would only give an estimate on the furnace. I decided to hire Quinnair, not only were they thorough, they included several additional services with their estimate along with a much better furnace (97.3% efficient) than the other companies who offered an 80% efficient furnace. Their Better Business Bureau and Angie's List ratings were much better than the other company's ratings. The afternoon before the furnace was scheduled to be installed, I had set my central air conditioner at 77 degrees and at that time the interior temperature was 78. I left for a few hours and when I returned the interior temperature had increased to 81. I had hoped that a thorough cleaning would solve this issue but when the representative arrived the following day, he examined it and found that the compressor was fried and it was inadequate for the size of my home. I had to make a decision quickly and if it wasn't for the representative's knowledge of current financing offers, I couldn't have afforded it. With that said, Quinnair came in under the third company I interviewed who was only going to replace the furnace with an 80% unit. The installers were professional and stayed until 8 PM on the second day in order to finish the air conditioner installation and 7 PM to finish the jobs on the third day. All the jobs were completed in a timely manner and I can sense a huge improvement. I am very pleased with this company and their dedication to their customers and the local community. I intend to hire Quinnair when I need to replace my water heater.

The other company charged me $4300 for a warranty furnace replacement and after I said that's insane, they 'reduced' it to $3500... which I paid as it was last December, very cold temps. The $3500 was highway robbery and they had to send tech out to my house four times to bring the installation up to code. I immediately looked for another company to service and double check the installation and was referred to Day and Night. Sharmain one of the owners assured me that they'll do the right thing and take care of any maintenance issues on the furnace. Well, they came on by and inspected the furnace and did some minor tune ups. The way I was treated, professionally and with courtesy confirmed that their company, Day and Night is a bonfire, well established HVAC company that stands by their word. Highly recommended!

17MAR2026 5 stars…read more We just had a new heat pump installed. I am happy. The process was very smooth. It all started when I thought about replacing our 15-year-old A/C unit. Fifteen years is near end-of-life and I would rather replace at our convenience and not on a burning hot July day. I contacted B&B via the form on their website and they called back within 20 minutes. Frank (sales rep) came for a visit that afternoon. We discussed all the possible actions and both of us decided the best option would be a direct A/C replacement. The important factors were 1) our A/C unit was on the roof, 2) you don't save a lot of money ($50-80/year) by spending more for a higher SEER. Frank came back the next day with a quote for 3 options: direct replacement, 2) slightly more efficient A/C, 3) heat pump for a much higher list price. But, Carrier's discount and Xcel's huge rebate made the heat pump the cheapest option. We live in a duplex so we and our neighbors decided to both replace the A/C with heat pumps. About $6100 including everything. We did do more research--just to be sure. Scheduling was easy via emails (we had to coordinate 2 households) and B&B sends text reminders, etc. We paid via ACH because "A convenience fee of 2.5% will be added to any credit card transaction." They came on time as scheduled. The crane hoisted the new equipment onto the roof and removed the old. The crew was friendly and kept us informed about the process. Completed within 2 days. Manny provided thorough instructions on how to use our new system. 05JUN2020 4 stars I am happy. Excellent service. Our A/C went out on 28MAY2020. I called B&B and they scheduled us for a repair visit on 05JUN2020 (first date available). They sent me an email confirmation. They called the day before with a reminder. I've used B&B to service my older furnace in the past and the most recent time was for a repair. I…read morecan say with absolute certainty that I will never use them again. The labor is charged by the hour even for diagnosing a problem, even if they diagnose a problem incorrectly. When they arrived at my rental property the tech called me saying he had identified the problem with the furnace and would replace the part. I approved the repair and asked him to call me if he ran into any issues with the part install because I was at my absolute max on price for this old furnace. He called about an hour later saying the repair didn't work, they needed to install another part for additional part fees and labor (on top of the $600+ I was being charged for the repair that didn't work). When the tech initially called me after diagnosing the issue he didn't once say that it might not fix the problem otherwise I wouldn't have moved forward. I told him to stop work and I called the office regarding the situation and spoke with the operations manager. During that call he admitted that it could have been a bad part that was installed but the only option to find out would involve me paying additional labor for them to remove the defective part and install a new one. BUT of course if we just decided to replace the furnace with them the repair cost would be waived. This is the most deceptive business practice I have ever encountered. If they installed a defective part why would I be charged MORE labor for them to replace it and check it's functionality? Why didn't the tech verify the part's functionality before calling me attempting to get MORE money for additional parts and labor and why wasn't I made aware from the start that I would be paying for a repair that might not fix the problem? In the end I paid $659 for labor and a likely defective part that didn't fix my furnace. Very dishonest practices. I wouldn't call them unless you have hundreds or thousands of dollars to waste.
