I called and explained that I had a P052E code related to the PCV valve/intake assembly. After I gave him the make, model, and year of my vehicle, Ronnie suggested I contact the dealership first to check if the repair might still be covered under warranty. I really appreciated how thoughtful and honest that was--he easily could have had me come in and pay out of pocket. I followed his advice, and sure enough, the repair was fully covered under warranty. I was extremely grateful for that. I do have a few other repairs that need to be done, and I will definitely be going back to Ronnie for those instead of the dealership. Local family owned, no hassles, no large ticket pricing. A few tips if you're coming here: They open at 8am, come early! Easiest route- go North on Western Ave. Walk in... tell they what work you need done on you car, give Make and Model of your car and get on repair list. When you are called, go get your car and pull into service garage. They will come and tell you what they noticed during diagnostic tests and inspection. They will show and explain to you the repairs. You will be told the cost with local taxes, so you know what to pay. Once done, they'll pull your car out and, after you pay CASH ONLY, you're good to go! Simple repair shop... no frills nor gimmicks! Park and walk in, because they do great work!

Instead, he charged me for a timing cover--something I never asked for and that didn't address the actual problem. After keeping my car for weeks, he didn't do anything to get the engine running. When we finally got the car back, we realized it had been completely dismantled. As you can see in the photos, nothing is connected, spark plugs were left in a plastic bag, and he even left one of his SHOP RAGS INSIDE THE ENGINE. This is NOT how the car was brought to him. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to inspect it right away because his shop hours were during my work hours, and all of our communication was over the phone with my girlfriend. We paid over the phone by giving him my card number for manual entry, trusting that he was being honest. Looking back, there were red flags--weeks with no updates, delays before he even looked at the car, and Bruno's attitude on the phone. Because of all this, we decided to tow the car elsewhere for repairs, and that's when we saw the condition it was in. My car was returned in WORSE condition than when it arrived. We ended up getting the engine replaced with a different mechanic and had a MUCH better experience.
