When he got there, the bill was suddenly $1,515. They went ahead and replaced the fuel pump without authorization and then presented him paperwork to sign AFTER the work was already done. That is completely unacceptable and honestly feels like a scam. He was put in a position where we had no choice but to pay an extra $600 he never agreed to, just to get the vehicle back.
